Love this movie!! I remember watching it 3 times in the theater when it came out and I still enjoy watching it today!!

With all the buzz about Christmas movies (and there are a fair few of those, lol) no one ever really talks about Halloween movies. I don't mean slashers, either (like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, or Friday the 13th). I'm talking about good, fun Halloween movies like The Addams Family, Ghostbusters, Monster Squad, and of course, Hocus Pocus! This classic from 1993 takes us to Salem, Massachusetts where we run into Cali transplants Max, his sister Dani, and local, Allison - kids whose curiosity ultimately unleashed the ghoulish Sanderson sisters - a trio of witches - from 300 years of captivity. Not to spoil much further, but with the Sanderson sisters free, it becomes a race against the clock to send the sisters back to the abyss before they become immortal!

Bought this as a gift. I liked the digital and blue ray version. And it was very cheap for such a popular movie.

We finally bought one of our favorite movies and we love not having to wait til Halloween to watch this movie

Now...I look at this movie as the kind of things that Disney used to make. Cheesy, over the top and I guess fun for the kids. I always have loved a good kids movie but as I was a late teen when this came out I missed it. My wife swears by it though.
