As far as Metroidvania style games go, this game has it all: tons of exploration in a huge and beautiful world, tight responsive controls, a well thought out and intuitive upgrade system, a stunning art style, and an amazing soundtrack. You cannot go wrong with Hollow Knight and can easily sink 50+ or even 100 hours into this game.

Beautiful art style, with challenging combat. this game one of the best metrovania games out in the market, along side Ori, Metroid Dread and Blasphemous.

This was a really spectacular Metroidvania. The visuals are stunning and the characters have personality. I loved exploring the world, however I do wish the power ups had been cooler. Each area was unique. Combat was difficult at time but not excruciatingly difficult.

Probably the best metroidvania after Castlevania, Symphony of the night, great story, music and game mechanics!... This version has all DLC content

Already owned this game on steam but decided to pick up the physical version for my switch. Game is great if you like metroidvanias.

Hollow Knight is an amazing game with so much to explore and do. I’ve gotten several play throughs and still haven’t completed everything! Truly an amazing game!

A fantastic and charming Metroidvania. Though the genre is now swapped with tons of games, this one is a stand out that fans of that type of game should have in their collections. Has a much deeper and interesting story then you would expect.

Hollow knight is a fun game to play, and is very beautiful for a sidescroller with just the right amount of challenge to be exciting. The music is very relaxing, and it is a complete delight. Also came with a handy map as well as all the DLC. Well worth it for the price.

so far having fun with this game. Im not too far into it yet, only because I play multiple games and work a full time job with 3 kids. the only thing I thought was kinda lame was you collect a form a currency by killing enemies and then use the currency to purchase items in the shop. well I was lost and was trying to find out where i was on the map, which i only was able to see a small portion of. come to find out i actually had to buy map identifiers from the shop. so to show my characters location on the map i had to purchase that, to show where save benches were, i had to purchase that. I enjoy the grind to collect and purchase items for your quest, but something like the map i think would be a default part of the game.

I like the layout and pace of how the story runs as you explore deeper into the underground , excellent characters, stunning background and hardcore side scroller action all await you with little fluff as you live by a hair breadth some times if at all ☠️

Hollow Knight is one of my favorite games of all time. Story, atmosphere, gameplay, it has it all. The game is only 15 dollars on the eshop, but I reccoment physical since it comes with a lot of cool memorabelia and plus physical is just better.

This is a great platforming game, however it is quite difficult! Once you master the mechanics the game is very fun. The art style and music are both incredibly beautiful.

Hollow knight is a very underrated game! I purchased it now knowing what type of game this is. The music is great and graphics are unique. It kept me intrigued and wanting to play more than I expected. Must purchase if you want to try a new game experience.

Wanted to play more from team cherry after silk song! Glad I picked it up to see how much improvement and love team cherry put into the sequel

This games is very enjoyable and affordable. It has a decent amount of challenge, but isn't too easy or too difficult once you get the hang of the controls.
