I heard so many good things about Hollow Knight that I couldn't imagine it would live up to the hype, but after playing it longer than any other game I own on Switch, I can plainly say that Hollow Knight is a fantastic Metroidvania style action adventure game with an interesting interconnected world that sucks you in and absolutely delivers. The amount of polish that went into this game is astounding, especially coming from a smaller studio. The art style alone puts many other games to shame, the lore and world building keeps you coming back, and the tight controls make this sometimes difficult game never seem unfair. I highly recommend it to fans of the genre, and can't wait for the next game in the series.

One of the switch’s best games. This one is really tough so be prepared for a challenge but it’s so well made that it’s worth it. It never feels challenging just to be challenging and the world is so beautiful that you’ll stick with the hard parts. All of the fighting, platforming and exploring flows so well through the well designed world and the soundtrack is impressive. Try this game

I bought this for my 12 yr old son as a Christmas gift and he loves it. It has a very interesting storyline, characters and nice graphics. He can't stop talking about it and thanked me a few times for getting it for him. I consider it a great purchase and would recommend.

Very hard but worth the effort. One of the best platforming games.

Modern day masterpiece, Metroidvania game design with Souls style lore

This is my first platform game since playing on the Gameboy Advance, and I instantly fell in love. There is a learning curve, but overall the game is challenging and engaging.

I ordered Hollow Knight for my son for Christmas. It came in with plenty of time to pick up and get it wrapped and under the tree. The game is great and he's been playing it a bunch since Christmas Day.

My son (8) purchased this game with birthday funds. He attempted to play it but found that it was too hard. It sat for two years, unplayed. PSN offered the game and I downloaded it for myself. In an attempt to bring interest back for the game he bought, I played the game. His younger brother (5) fell in love and became obsessed with the game. He wanted nothing more to play, watch, or simply talk about the game. I played the game through on the PS4 and later again on the PS5. Great metroid-vania game.

Simply amazing. The controls are tight and responsive, the art style is fitting to the story, I've always loved the metroidvania type games. My son loves this as well.

Playing this was a unique experience. The bosses were difficult, but each lost helped me understand a little more, on how to defeat them. The visuals are so pretty and the gameplay is so much fun!

This is a great 2D platformer with very polished mechanics. The musical score and visuals create the perfect, fitting atmosphere that reflects the world you explore. There are many, unique boss fights to encounter and plenty of backtracking to rack up the playtime hours that will not feel tedious for most. There are a good number of ability customization options via a badge-like system. Overall, I found this title quite fun and have spent over 40 hours on it and counting!

Even though i just started the game, i can already tell im going to have so much fun with it! If your thinking about getting this game just go for it

I really like this game and tbe graphics. I like choosing games that look interesting, and this didn't fail. Interesting game play and levels, beautiful graphics and hard to beat bosses.

Hollow Knight more like heck of a night!! This game is great! I started playing it and could not put it down. I mean I had to after my mom made some bagel bites and then again for my half hour soda chugging break and then a little bit after that for my hourly candy bar break and a few more times for other stuff, but in-between those breaks man was I playing this game when I wasn't looking at my phone for people playing this on youtube.

One of the most well-crafted games you'll ever play, with right controls and rewarding combat.

Such a wonderful game. Beautiful levels, an interesting story, and addictive gameplay. Don't sleep on this one!
