Does the job. A great simple fan, at a very good price.

If you are looking for a simple, basic box fan, then this is your baby. With multiple speeds and a large fan radius, this unit can push that cool breeze your way with breaking the bank in power costs.

Works good, but noisy! I would tell anyone it works good, but is loud! Like that the handle and controls are recessed in the back of the fan!

This fan BLOWS! Meaning it does what I paid for it to do, when i turn it on it moves and blows air around my house. I like it because it fits in my window and i can have it either blow cooler air in or hot air out (no it doesnt have a reverse i just manually turn it around).

Price was low. Wasn't sure what to expect. I like that none of the switches are on the frame so you can put it anywhere. Lighter then a more expensive model but very functional.

My only issue with this fan is that its so lightweight you kind of have to tie it down somehow to keep it from slowly walking further and further away when you're at speeds 2 and 3. I stuck some rubber on the feet and it fixed the problem. But Holmes should really consider adding that from factory. I'd also suggest getting the GSP. Its only like $5 and it covers the fan for 2 years. I mention this because this is the second one I buy. The old one lasted me just under a year.

looking for box fans for second floor bedrooms, they work great and can be used with or without the feet stands. Only thing I would change, the on/off and speed knob is on back of fan, so you have to lean fan to reach the back to start, but for the price its not a big deal.

It's a pretty nice fan, but a little noisy. I bought it because it was on the deal of the day.

But put some rubber feet on it. The thing walks like its on a fashion show runway I had to tie the power chord around a chair to keep it from creeping up to me.

We use this with a small filter behind it...voila an air purifier!!...just buy the 19 inch square filter and tape it to the back...change often and don't bump into it ...keep away from animals and children when using the filter behind it. Good little tip.

This fan works so perfect for my bedroom! We have been experiencing a major heatwave, but once I turn in for the night this fan cools the room down significantly within just a few minutes. It was such a great deal and is of very good quality, I couldn't be happier!

Had to dry a rug that my dehumidifer had spilled on. This fan worked like a champ for 6-7 days, 24 hrs a day. The carpet dried right up.

I Like its design which is different from another box fan.Its speed system and handle for hand carry is backside are more convenient. Also its detachable cord another plus point.Especially its feet reduce to chance fell down and broke the fan.

Not bad for the price, highly recommend protection plan if you have kids, or even without kids, it's only 4 bucks and u get a replacement if it breaks. Worth it

Great deal for the huge box fan, but it's just pretty loud. Has legs to keep it stable, 3 speed settings, but noisy as heck.

I was really uneasy about the idea of a fan on my window, thinking it wouldn’t cool my room. Man I was wrong, Putting it on my window and closing my room makes it so cold and it’s perfect for these summer nights.

Not the sturdiest fan, but I knew what I was getting when I bought it. So far so good without any issues. It does sometimes make a noise, but can be something is loose and needs to be tightened.

I use this to keep my dog cool in the garage at night when I put him in for the evening. It keeps him cool and happy while he sleeps peacefully.

Fan gives the reprieve I need in a house without air conditioning. I bought two and move them throughout the house with me and they keep the rooms they are in very cool. They aren't loud either so I can watch TV at a normal volume!

Solid three speed box fan. Not the most power compared for $40 Walmart fan but a good compliment when the air con is out
