I love watching those two play in movies with each other, because they're awesome together. I love how they play off each other. ..I would love to see them play in a movie together with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (the two guys from 'Shaun of the Dead').

An over-the-top comedy with some unique original comic bits. Ferrell & Reilly a great actor combo like some of the all-time greats. There are some parts in this movie I laughed so hard in that I almost threw-up. They really do a great job poking fun at the Holmes/Watson history.

Humor is typical Ferrell. Really dumb. Some of it was funny, the selfie shot using an old tin-type camera or playing contemporary music. Not one of his better movies. Just ok. Should have waited for the discount bin. Unless you’re a big Will Ferrell fan, I’d wait.

The movie is a parody of the real Sherlock Holmes movies and, at times, it achieves some humor but at other times, it's just bad comedy. Overall, not the best movie but it had it's moments that made me laugh. A good rainy Sunday afternoon time waster.

Yes, most of the critics call this a bad film. No, I do not agree, for the simple reason that I knew it was stupid funny like it was intended and I like that kind of stuff.

not the regular sherlock holmes with Robert downey, It has a storyline, and some laughes, but when it comes to sticking to character they tried to put to much in the movie, its worth a laugh though.

If you are in the right mood, you would most likely love this movie. It is not overly funny. Will Ferrell and John C Reilly certainly try to take a different approach to Holmes & Watson

I expected it to be better. It didn’t hold my attention very well. I love the actors, I did laugh a few times. “They” hyped it up too much for me so my expectations were higher.

It’s so good to see these two together again. They are always a dynamic duo on the screen and keep me laughing.

Like the title says, people really thrashed this review for no reason. Thought it was hilarious.

This movie got terrible reviews. So, I rented it on Redbox. If you have seen this comedic duo before and enjoyed them, chances are you will enjoy this movie too. Sure, there is a bit of politics and plenty of references to other pop culture...but that is how satire works. For what it’s worth, I enjoyed it and laughed more than a few times.

If you’re a Farrell/Reilly fan you’ll like this movie. John C. Reilly is the one to watch.

They are so well comical for each other. Comedy for the type of movie this was.
