I’ve had the desk for about 2 weeks now and I am very pleased with the quality of the materials. Very very durable, but not excessively heavy. I wanted something I could relocate relatively easily should I move. Disassembly and reassembly are definitely an option but there are a lot of screws to undo, fortunately one average strength person should be able to move the desk, easily with two people. I’m using it in conjunction with another larger desk to create a seamless at-home work area (the 67” desk with drawers, file drawer and LED light strip also from Homcom/Aosom). I’m setting my computer up on this 59” desk which still gives me plenty of space for taking notes or having a drink on it. The other (67”) is used for paperwork. The top shelf is perfect for my books, my shredder or a printer fits nicely on the second tier from bottom. And additional supplies fit on the first and third. For a small office space or compact work area I think this desk is great! When partnered with another desk, some additional book shelves and office accessories it has made my new home workspace wonderful! There was a small issue with a couple parts on arrival, but a fast and easy phone call to Aosom from the phone number in the instructions and I got the pieces replaced within a few days. One of the parts had been welded on the wrong side and a tiny crack in one of the shelves but otherwise every other part and piece was spot on. The replacements were easy to get after a callback from Aosom and everything has been smooth sailing since. For anyone curious the little animal character visible in the photos is a buizel, a kind of Pokémon haha.
