It took a bit to get it put together but nothing unreasonable. Very sturdy and feels like it will last a loooong time haha! I really love just about everything about this desk. Four fabric drawers for storage and organizing, an adjustable file drawer that fits standard, legal and 14” file sizes, a perfectly sized shelf for a printer with storage for extra paper, files, etc in between it and the file drawer. The raised shelf is just the right height for my monitors and provides a little extra storage for desk supplies. I’ve got tons of room left over even with keyboard and mouse. Technically I’m still figuring out how to arrange everything because I’m also using another desk to expand my workspace but for anyone looking for a good sized at home desk with lots of options to organize and get work done, I highly recommend this one!! The only thing I’m not super keen on is the LED lights. And to be fair, I expected I wouldn’t love them from the start, so I’m not actually bothered by them and decided to just not leave them installed. They work fine and aren’t difficult to install but in order to get them powered you have to plug them into the usb socket that comes with the in-desk outlet piece. So you just have this strand of random white and red wires running from under the monitor shelf where the lights end to the socket which looks kind of “un-finished industrial” or like someone forgot to do something. If the lights could run flush against the parts of the desk and plug-in in a way that was more aesthetically pleasing that’d be great. Also, I was looking forward to using that usb socket for utility purposes so I didn’t want to plug the lights into it. Still a fantastic desk though and I’m super happy with my purchase. Wish I could’ve gotten it when it was still on sale but c’est la vie.
