We love this speaker, best smart speaker sound in the market, but the big issue with this speaker, is it cannot hear worth c*ap! We have trained it with our voices and have to yell at it, so annoying, it worked fine until a software update and google denies any issues, like always but their forums have it all over, oh well, still love the sound, loud and you can hear it in all of our downstairs (1700 sq ft) and backyard (speaker is in kitchen connected to the backyard)

We are listening to a lot more music in the kitchen, getting answers to questions, asking for recipe advice and even ingredient substitutes. We listen to the U.S. news but also RTE news and music from Ireland and the BBC in England. It is easy and immediate! Everyone in the family enjoys the Google Home Max. If we want to check facts, the Google Assistant is right there to get us answers. We will all drift into the kitchen when a program is on and stop to listen, comment, spend time together.

Great sound and looks good too. Has trouble staying connected to the wifi, an issue that my smaller speakers never have.

The speaker is great! I was debating between the HomePod in Google Home max. I feel they both have similar sound quality but the Google has the upper hand because it has more superior AI. In addition the room reading technology gave it a better sound than what was on display in the store. I also like the fact that it can be a Bluetooth speaker something which the HomePod cannot do

This was a great Christmas gift for my daughter. She now has had it for over a year and is still enjoying it. Glad I got one of the last ones!! Great bass that is not too overbearing. The highs are not too high. With a total of four speakers in one unit, it puts out a great sound. Like that it has a 3.5mm phone jack.

Love these! I just wish I could use them as LCRs for my TV. There’s still a lag in sound that can’t be corrected by the TV (which usually assumes the video lags, not the audio). There are some threads on this but unclear when or if Google will release an update to solve this so we can use them as TV speakers. But using them as normal speakers (and multi room) is absolutely amazing.

Great sound upgrade from the original Google hub. It connected to the network quickly and with ease, but it's not reliably connecting with each cast command from my Pixel 2 XL phone. It also drops the connection to my phone unlike my hub before. I could not have connected it incorrectly to my Google Home network, because it does it all by itself, so I'm left with thinking it is a application/software issue. I will continue to search for a solution and hopefully will figure it out.

Sounds really good. It's a shame Google's doing away with it. It was not worth $400 but it is worth $150.
