This is without a doubt, the coolest gadget I have ever purchased!

As of right now, Google Home needs support from more vendors and possibly Bluetooth. The device can only link to one Google account. Music selection is almost exclusively limited to premium services and YouTube is unusable without Red. It will answer your questions and can even maintain previous topic, turn on and off lights, change settings on thermostat. As well, IFFT works with it, but is relatively difficult to configure. Activating the Home from its keyword is challenging at times. Chromecast appears to be a good companion for the Google Home, if you have it. This is a new product in the home assistant market, so as expected there are bugs. Overall, this appears to be the making for a great product.

I think the 2 are very similar but Google has better sound and answers more. I have the Alexa and that one can learn abilities in the future but for now it falls just a bit short of Google Home. With the Google price drop it's more worth it.

The Google home has been a great addition to our home. We have ours in the kitchen where it plays music on demand from Pandora, helps me with step by step instructions for recipes and adding items to my shopping list among many other things.

I find google home to be extremely useful around the house. Whether you want to listen to music, find out the weather for the day, ask for business hours or add to your grocery list... this gadget is quite useful. I highly recommend it.

Received this free with purchase of Chromebook. Good deal! Works well to add music to single rooms. Easy to move around house. Easy to set up. While saying "Hey Google' is less personal than "Alexa", it works jsut as well for us.

I bought this as a birthday present for a friend. I was totally amazed that Best Buy sent me a follow-up e-mail that was offering free setup and use class in the store!! I forwarded this to my friend and she took total advantage of it.

Really enjoy the Google Home for the variety of music that can be requested. Sound is also great for such a small device. However, although Google is quite "smart" it has been "stumped" several times by questions asked of it.

After some practice with the commands I’m really enjoying my Google Home smart speaker. The sound is great playing music too. Now I have to get some more smart accessories so I have things to control!

The speaker sounds good, not Bose quality, but still good. We sit around and ask it questions and play it's games when we're bored lol there are many more apps and things we haven't tried, but I look forward to checking them out.

It connects to a lot of the devices in my house, specially my ac !

I have a family member that is legally blind. He doesn't have a smart phone, so has never used Siri or Google Assistant. He LOVES this. It works really well, considering it isn't perfect. Sometimes you need to rephrase a question, but it does the trick.
