This is the first season of the riveting Homeland series. The packaging has a slipcover, although not all of the seasons do.

I got hooked on this series after watching just the first episode of the first season. It's one of the better written and paced dramas dealing with this type of political / military thriller subject matter. I've also gotten a number of friends and family hooked on the series since it started. The most recent season didn't disappoint either - it wonderful to encounter a TV series that's not afraid to push away its built in audience with unexpected character twists, etc. I look forward to seeing more of this series in the future, and am glad it was one of the few TV on blu-ray series I've broken down and purchased to own.

Homeland is a great show. Full of action and suspense.

An excellent production, which analyses the on-going problem of terrorism. The First Season starts with the very real possibility of a PoW being released and returning home as a hero. It also explores counter-terrorism methods and surveillance. I'm sure this might not be the true way the CIA deals with these issues, but the program skims the surface of what is involved and is interesting to watch. On a technical issue, the Blu-Ray format delivers excellent 5 Star picture quality onto a 50" HD plasma TV.

This is one of the most addictive series I've watched -- and I don't get hooked easily. It's real. It's complex. No one is "the good guy" or the "bad guy"; and FOR ONCE, I can't guess what's about to happen next! If you are the type who loves to watch an entire series end-to-end, get this complete set -- and plan to lose some sleep.

This is a great show, I was at first leary because I am a vet of the Iraq war and I found the premise offensive. But I watched on a recomendation from a freind and Holy Cow was I impressed. I could write a few paragraphs telling you how great this show is but since Im not Hemmingway I woulndt do it justice. Give it a chance youll love it

This tv series is an outstanding show. By far one of the best done series I have ever watched. It’s funny, suspenseful and will keep you on the edge of your seat. The plots and twist will keep you binge watching this show. I highly recommend this show to anyone. Language though not suitable for small children.

A nail biter series - don't miss the first one of the full series. Even if you saw it on Show Time, it's worth buying to have in your collection to rewatch in the future. Follow the great plot, excellent acting, an overall solid show, well worth time spent seeing it with your friends. Do enjoy! The writer really pulls you right into the story.

I was not familiar with this series prior to my purchase. Friends loved it. I have now finished the series and plan to buy year 2. It started a little slow developing characters but quickly swept me up into the world of the CIA and the fight on terrorism. It is filled with unpredictable twists and turns that keep you eager to start the next episode. I had to watch 4 in one night .

Totally gripping story line and the acting and visuals are stupendous. So good I ran right out and bought Seasons 2 and 3. And then watched Season 4 online... This was one of the final 6 up for an Emmy this year (2015). A MUST WATCH, especially with the state of terrorism in the world right now..!!!

Great show! A unique/original story, Marine sniper Nick Brody returns home after being MIA for years in Iraq, he returns home and is suspected to be "turned" by a CIA agent. Damien Lewis and Claire Danes are great in their roles and the supporting cast shines as well.

Highly recommend! Everyone I know has been watching this for so long and I finally decided to give it a try. It really hooks you right away! I'm looking forward to the next season! I will be purchasing all of them! Definitely worth going back to watch!

This tv series is great!!! I can't wait to purchase and watch the rest of the series. This series arrived on time and the packaging was great. I will definitely continue to purchase movies/DVDs from bestbuy & recommend to my family and friends.

We are about 3/4 through first season and are really enjoying it. Doesn't move quite as fast as I was expecting considering it is from some of the same people that made 24, but it gets points for excellent writing and three really good lead characters.

Season 1 of Homeland is definitely the series' strongest. Claire Danes absolutely shines in this, although the rest of the cast is great as well. Be warned - once you start watching you'll most likely binge your way through the entire season.

I love this show. Great acting, elaborate story lines, smart writing. Just when you think, "where can they go from here?" The show amazes you and takes you on another journey. Each season so far has gotten better than the last.

Very impressed with the acting and intense storylines. This is the way you make great television. It doesn't have to be mindless drivel just to appeal to the masses.

Bought the first season of the series to see if I would like it. Lots of suspense, intrigue, and who done it. Good acting and it keeps you interested trying to figure out what's going to happen next.

Being told by so many friends about this series, it certainly took me a long time to get it. WOW is all I can say. This is an excellent series, well acted with lots of twists. Claire Danes is fabulous!

A first season that could almost stand alone as a full season event. Homeland has progressed far beyond the foundation laid here, but suffice it to say what is here is great entertainment.
