This is a very good and exciting show this season I feel just didn't live up to past seasons. Carrie was the same unstable and constantly make poor decisions that make you want to slap her. And Brody is in less than half the season. The season finale was not as surprising or shocking as people and the dvd box make it out to seem. If you want a show that is interesting and different this is it. If you want characters that you learn to love and other you learn to hate this is it. I definitely recommend this season just don't expect it to be as shocking as seasons 1 and 2.

After I watched Season 1 of Homeland I thought where will they go in Season 2. When Season 2 came out it blew me away and I was like ok where can they go. Let me tell you even better, Season 3 is out of control good. Let me tell you, be prepared to sit on the edge of your seat and binge watch this in a day or two, I forgot what sleep was once I bought this. Best series on Showtime hands down!

Since I dropped all of my premium channels through my cable service a couple of years ago, including Showtime, this was a great way to catch up on the Homeland series. I was able to watch the first two seasons on television when we had Showtime. Season three was just as good as the first tow seasons and I can't wait for the current season of Homeland to come out on DVD.

I wondered if this show could keep the unbelievable momentum and tension with which it started in Season 1. I can honestly say -- it has! This is one of the few series where it is nearly impossible to guess what is coming next. And with Seasons 1 - 3 now released, this makes a stellar gift for those friends or family who are looking to binge watch a riveting show.

This tv series is an outstanding show. By far one of the best done series I have ever watched. It’s funny, suspenseful and will keep you on the edge of your seat. The plots and twist will keep you binge watching this show. I highly recommend this show to anyone. Language though not suitable for small children.

The 3rd season of Homeland was not quite as good as the 1st and 2nd seasons. I got this Blu-ray DVD set on sale, so I'm OK with it. If I had paid full price, I think I might have been bummed! I don't really want to say too much about the storyline because I don't want to give anything away to people who haven't seen it yet...but I will say that it felt like it was dragging out some of Brody's parts a bit too much for me. All in all, it wasn't bad...just not my favorite season. :)

My wife and I started watching the series at the beginning of the Christmas holidays. This show is addicting. Don't know how people watch it on Showtime and have to wait a week for the next episode. That would drive me crazy. If you are interested in CIA, FBI National Security Stories, you will love this!!!!!!

Don't hesitate to pick this series up! I absolutely love this show, fantastic writing and acting! That being said, seasons 1 and 2 were much better. This did wrap up the current story arc and was still very enjoyable to watch. BB offered this at a great price release week. Plus, I received it the actual day of release!

Love Homeland! If you don't have Showtime, get seasons 1 through 3 on DVD now! If you want a binge worthy show, this is it. Unfortunately it is not on Netflix so I have had to buy the DVDs but they are totally worth the purchase price. Claire Danes & Mandy Patinkin are fantastic in their roles on this show.

I have seen the Homeland series except for Season #3. so much action and deceptions, full of tension. If you want to watch high action espionage with excellent acting this is the one to watch. Couldn't wait to see Season 3.

This season was not as well written as Season 1 and 2. It feels like all of the scenes were just thrown together. There is also a storyline that keeps getting screen time (you will know what I'm talking about when you watch it) that is completely pointless, and just throws the pacing off. The characters are still good, and the conclusion is still exciting as expected from Homeland. Recommended.

Homeland is one of those rare shows that doesn't come around too often. It's brilliance lies in Claire Danes's acting in portraying a strong female protagonist with a mental disorder. Along with an excellent supporting cast, writing and directing; you can't go wrong with this show!

Season three of Homeland brings a closure to what was occurring during the first two seasons of the series. In my opinion this is the best TV series. As great as "24" was and how good "The Walking Dead" is, "Homeland" is still my favorite. Great story line and characters you really get into.

I am not the first to say this, but the first 2/3 of this season were off the rails in territory far from what the show is really about. At some point it seemed like the writers remembered the premise and returned to national security from soap opera land. The final 1/3 of the season was very strong and sets up nicely for a reboot in season 4.

After an abysmal action-twist-centric back half of season 2, Homeland has migrated back toward what made season 1 great—the slow burn. This season is more deliberate in pacing, more Homeland and less 24. That said, don't start here. You'll get a nice recap of previous seasons, but missing the second season would still be a mistake.

BIG fan of the series. I wasn't so sure about the direction of the 3rd season at first, but as usual, the plot twists and turns did not disappoint. Brody fans will not like that he doesn't appear until later in the season, but he makes a dramatic exit at the end. The one downside: too much is made of Brody's family, especially his daughter. Good riddance.

One of the best series being shown on TV. Season 1 was impossible to match for season 2, season 3 brings it all back. This season is also a nice wrap up of the issues brought out in season 1. Looking forward to where the show heads in Season 4.

Season 3 picks up right after the Nazir terrorist attack and we find Saul being grilled in the Senate, Carrie has gone dark and Brody is on the run. This show has maintained its terrific story telling with so many plot twists and turns.

Homeland has been and continues to be one of the best shows on television, and Season 3 is no exception. The plot starts shortly after the tragedy of Season 2, and quickly spirals out of control from there. This is truly must see tv!!

Homeland is one of the best TV shows ever produced. Claire Danes is phenomenal in a very demanding role. Damian Lewis is also outstanding. This is a show that has you sitting on the edge of your seat during most of each episode.
