Dorm rooms are notoriously dry, as a result, my daughter was constantly experiencing sore throat, sinus issues, and restless nights. This humidifier has proven to be ideal for her needs. It is a perfect size for a dorm room, it is quiet, effective and easy to use. The only problem now is being able to keep it in her room given all the other students with similar needs.

It works well in a large bedroom.Lasts 10/11 hrs on high.

I've used this humidifier for two months and it's done a great job. No mess and easy to clean. I'm thinking of purchasing another one for next winter.

We use it in our Living-room and it does a good job making us comfortable. On a high setting it will make more noise then on low setting. The high setting usually drains the water tank in 5 hours and on low setting it can run almost all day. The unit has shown some water mineral (salt) deposits on the walls but after putting water softener tabs the deposits never redeveloped. All in all go for it.

bought this last january for my medium-sized office. the tank hold's enough for 8-9 hours, even at maximum output. does its job keeping the air moist, and it can't be beat at this price point.

works nicely, provides a fairly quiet operation. The tank is large enough to last all day. The dial lights up green when in use, which is nice looking. My only complaint is that you sometimes need to fiddle with the tank when placing onto the unit, in order for it to register that its on and start working.

This works well for a fairly large sized finished basement area. More than 400 square feet. Found that w/o it, the room humidity would get to 22% with the heat on. A humidifier with a greater capacity would do a better job for a room this size but definitely raises the humidity level for the area. I can get it to 41% after several hours running. It is also very quiet, even on high, which is louder than low. If you have hard water like I have, be prepared to use vinegar often to clean out the lime deposits. I do think having it on, also helps to keep the heat from having to constantly come on as a result of adding humidity to the air.

Works OK in a larger room, but meant for a smaller area. I can feel the difference, though and I am satisfied with it's performance.

This unit makes less noise than my last humidifier. It releases warm mist instead of cold. This is a good thing in the winter time.

This humidifier is easy to use and very nice for the size. Easy to handle, fill, and clean and is quiet enough not to be distracting while watching television or sleeping.

I bought this humidifier to use for my newborn and I think its great for the price. The big 2 gallon tank means less fill ups. automatic shut off is a nice safety feature. 2 moisture output setting allows you to choose your desired steam/humidity. filter free design means i do not have to worry about using filtered water. This humidifier does make noise, i can not compare the noise level to others since this is my first one, but it works for my newborn since it sounds kind of like white noise.

Works great for small rooms. Runs all night without refills and stays quiet. Great for allergy season

I purchased the Honeywell - 1 Gal. Warm Moisture Humidifier - Black Honeywell - 1 Gal. Warm Moisture Humidifier because I needed something to help me breathe in the very dry air in LA. I read many reviews and have to say I am really happy to have purchased this. I run it every night on low and I wake up feeling so much better. In the dry weather, I used to wake up stuffy with a scratchy throat and slightly bloody nose. I got this and fill it every night to sleep soundly.

I had been fighting a dry cough for a couple months. My daughter suggested I get a humidifier. I picked up this Honeywell humidifier and it cleared up my cough right away. It's not too big, it's easy to set up and use, and it has different settings so you can get just the output that's right for you.

It works well in a small room and does not need to be cleaned often. The warm air does not chill the room. Very quiet.

Very good and effective. Easy to handle. One fill will stay for two nights or 16 hrs.

The tank lasts from 8PM to 12PM on average, and for me thats good enough. This is bare minimum product, no fancy timer or auto adjusting humidity level. There's a auto cutoff if it runs out of water though. Works like a charm for a ~200sqft bedroom.
