I love it it's a great product I highly recommend this item we suffer from allergies and this item helps out a lot . I couldn't imagine not having this product

The AirGenius 3 is mostly the same as the AirGenius 5, I actually like the AirGenius 3 a bit better, I never used the timer on my AirGenius 5, I also never turned on the accent lighting, and I did not prefer the touch style of buttons that the AirGenius 5 has. I had my AirGenius 5 placed on a top shelf, so that I had to reach up high to turn it on, the power button on the AirGenius 5 is a standard button, so it was easy to press the power button to turn it on, but the speed changing button being a touch sensitive button, I had to sort of remember its location, and changing speeds was sort of a hassle with no physical button to feel and press. Having had the newer AirGenius 5 and now the AirGenius 3, both have had a strange smell fresh out of the box, it was either a new plastic smell, or maybe a new motor smell, it is a bit annoying, but the smell does eventually dissipate. This line of Honeywell AirGenius air filters, is indeed effective and requires no additional purchase of costly Hepa filters, it does require a regular effort of cleaning the electrostatic filter and the foam pre-filter, but if you are the type of person who does not like to buy hepa filters and you have the time to clean the Honeywell filters, then this should be a good air filter for you. I clean the Honeywell filters in the shower area, I have a shower wand that has the adjustable water flow, I turn the flow onto a concentrated setting and the water on high, and the flow of water is all I have ever used in cleaning the Honeywell filters, of which I leave the pre-filter in the back cover and flush the dust back out the way it came in. I would suggest to never use really hot tap water when cleaning the AirGenius filters, just medium warm water, as I have had plastics crack from the sudden flow of hot tap water. Overall this is a great air filter that is quite effective. Who knows, maybe Honeywell will improve this product in the future and add a remote. Even with the inconveniencing strange odor when this product is new, I feel as if it is still one of the best air filters on the market today. The most important factor in me designating this to be one of the best air filters, is that it is made with a ball bearing motor.

This is my second Honeywell Air purifier. I have an older version drum shaped air purifier and it is still working after years of 24 hour a day service. This new Genius 3 is much quieter than my older one. I like how it also oscillates. I was having some mold issues in my house and it seems to be helping with that. What I especially like about this one is the main filter is washable. Only the carbon filter needs occasionally replacement. I keep this one in my bedroom, so I get clean filtered air throughout the night.

Honeywell air Genius 3, 3FD-300 unit is great for my bedroom room cats like. Have it in my room where my two cats stay most of the time. Within days, no congestion. Less dust and my cat with allergies doesn’t have any congestion anymore either. Also takes all odors out on high. Has washable outer filter or odor filter and washable Hepa inner filter. So no filter cost. Oxalates 90 degrees. Auto shutoff if it moves. Really quiet, almost noiseless on low at night. Wish I’d bought earlier. Fan on high very strong enough to circulate and cool in summer

I'm happy knowing it's cleaning the air for me to breathe better. The ease of cleaning the filter is a plus, so I don't have to buy more. If you check the filter after 3 months you'll see the mess it's catching. Our older house has a lot of dust and having this air cleaner is good enough to make me feel better about having it. I got it about $100 off (deal of the day) and it's worth my health... Woooo!

The Honeywell AirGenius3 Air Cleaner and Odor Reducer has worked perfectly during the month I have had it. It is a quiet machine that has a button for oscillating when I want it to do that. The 3 setting choices: sleep, general, and max work well for my needs. Although it takes up twice the space as my discarded air cleaner of another brand, it does a better job and is easier to maintain.

This is my second Honeywell air cleaner (used in two different parts of the house). Honeywell uses permanent electronic cleaners for the same price as other brands that use disposable - so those other brands have ongoing costs that the Honeywell brand does not. And this works very well, is very quiet, and has cleaned the pollen so I don't sneeze as much any more.

I haven't used the odor reducer yet, but I'm very happy with the air cleaner part. I'm using this machine in my bedroom and feel like it's helping me sleep better. The quiet setting is really quiet.

Excellent value; runs quietly and does its job very effectively. I have allergies and experienced less irritation and sneezing once I got this running and cleaning the air.

We've had the Airgenius 5 for a couple of years. Eventually enough dust gets past the filter and into the device itself (motors, etc) that it started to make an annoying rattle it's hard to sleep near. For $200+, a bit disappointing that it couldn't be cleaned out. Because I expect this Airgenius 3 will similarly last only 2-3 years, as the mechanism appears identical, I'm rating a 4 star. However, these air cleaners work well, are easy to clean, and require no replacement filters. Went with the 3 vs 5 this time. Appears to be an identical design in terms of the stuff that cleans the air. If you can live with white instead of black, the 3 may be the better deal. The 5 adds extra accent lighting and a couple of extra speeds you probably won't use … and a touch screen that's got so many lights on it, we needed to place a magazine on the panel at night (no night-mode to turn off only the lights). The 3 has a simplified control panel and few lights; no magazine cover needed.

My mom just had lung transplant surgery, so I brought this item for her. I figured it would help her to breath the air inside the house. So far it works great, also she is enjoying this item a whole lot. It cleans the air perfectly for her, so I want to buy 1 or 2 more, an extra one for her and I really want one for myself. Also its really simple to use.

This unit runs very quietly but delivers enough clean air to almost completely eliminate my allergy symptoms.

I got this same air purifier about a year ago, and Best Buy had it on sale so I decided to get another one. My husband and I have terrible allergies and by keeping one in the living room and one in our bedroom running all the time our allergies have not been as bad!! Normally we would be sneezing first thing in the morning but we have both seen a big improvement. I would buy again. Just have no need as we have the two main rooms covered!

These are great air purifiers. We have 2 of them in our house. Also love not having to buy filters!

This is a really good air purifier. Even for a large basement it gets the job done. It's extremely quiet also

I have noticed a difference in the quality of the air and how I feel. I have also noticed a difference in my pets and the fact that they seem more comfortable. The only thing I would prefer to have different is that it would be nice to control the output of the airflow, either be able to aim in upwards or turn it down lower

I purchased this item a little over a month ago in hopes that it would serve two purposes. First, I wanted something to help with the allergens in the air in my bedroom. Second, I wanted a fan. This air purifier thankfully fits both bills. I have had way less problems with my allergies this year, and this machine also makes the air in my room smell fresher and cleaner. Also, even on the medium function this thing moves some air and definitely helps me cool my room. It’s also a good amount of fan sound if you like to have that as white noise while you sleep. I usually let is oscillate at night and it doesn’t make any creeking or clicking noises as it turns which is a huge plus because those types of noises drive me crazy. Also, I love that this has washable filters and is energy star rated. Much better for the environment and my wallet. Overall, this seems to be an excellent product.

I can breathe more freely. It has the oscillating feature which rotates and filters the air. I use it in the bedroom an am ready for a second AirGenius for the living area. I noticed my daughter's nasal snorting has decreased significantly.

Does a great job cleaning the air. appreciate the quieter setting for night time
