Heats up very quickly, portable , extremely easy to use. Use it in any room where we are in. Help with our gas bill. We dont have to extremely heat up our house. When we are in one room and we are cold we take that heater to that room. If we go to a diffrent room, then the heater goes with us.. Would recommend if someone wants a small heater

Excellent features, just wish it put out more heat

Purchased this heater to keep a small room (8' x 12') heated. Features (thermostat, oscillation control, tip over protection) are excellent and work well. Noise level is not bad; it is on par with my Honeywell fans, and thus about what I expected.
The only downside that I see for this heater is the low level of heat that it puts out. I typically operate it on the low heat (900 watt) setting due to the constraints of the room's electrical wiring. This results in it running almost constantly if I want the room at 70 degrees, with an outside temperature near 30 degrees. It is better on the high (1500 watt) setting, but still doesn't put out the amount of heat that I had hoped to receive from it.
However, considering the amount I spent on it and how well the other features work, I am pleased with this heater and do not believe that I could have gotten one that fitted my needs better for the price.

Love it...for such a small heater it sure heats up a room efficiently. If you are looking for a quiet heater I wouldn't suggest this one, but if you are looking for a cheap heater that is likely worth more than its actual price, then this is definitely the best buy.

Great little heater

I love how high tech this little heater is and it hit the spot to my need of supplemental warmth in lieu of waiting for my building's heat to come on. I especially like the timer, that allows me to just set it & forget it while I enjoy a toasty warm sleep without having to worry about it being on all night.I also like the tip over control that shuts it off instantly. That's a great safety feature.I highly recommend this little gem to anyone, for small-medium sized room coverage.

Bought this little number based on customer ratings, and I'm so pleased I did. It performs as advertised, it's neat, it's stable, it's quiet, and the oscillator feature is nice.
My office doesn't have a very large footprint, but it does have a high ceiling and two windows through which cold air can creep (or blast, on a windy day). I keep the radiator completely off because of the god-awful buzzing sound it makes, and, at least so far, the little Honeywell heater has kept the room perfectly comfortable, with infrequent need for adjustment.

This was purchased for my 87 year old mother-in-law to use. With medications she takes, she's always cold. She uses this in her bedroom mostly, where she spends a good deal of time watching TV or going through mail. The safety features are great - like automatic shutoff if tipped over. She loves the swivel action and it has great visible features on the front of the unit. Perfect for her use. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a small electric heater.

Great Little Workhorse Heater For The Price

I was surprised at how well this heater does the job for only 40 bucks. It heats up very fast, and the case does stay nicely cool to the touch. You can choose between it rotating or facing one direction, and the dial lets you pick the exact temp you want.
The tip over shut off is *very* touchy. I have it sitting on the floor, and saw it shut off when my cat whacked it with his tail in passing. That impact was enough to trigger the shut off. A shut off that touchy may annoy some I guess, but as a pet owner, I was delighted with it. I feel very confident that should one of my animals actually knock it over, it would be off before it was even flat on the floor.
As another safety note, the cord stays cool even after it's ran several days non-stop. Some heaters I've owned in the past had cords that got hot enough to make me worry.
The fan noise is about the same level of volume as a standard room fan. It makes for a good white noise. I'd like an option to leave the fan on when it's not putting out heat, but I found a work around just by having the temperature control low enough that the heater stays on.
I have it located in front of a bedroom door, aimed down the hallway towards the living room with all the other doors in the hallway closed. It's successfully making a difference not just in that bedroom, but also in the living room 15 feet away. Wouldn't do as the solo heat source, but I think if I had a second one in the living room, they would take care of the upper floor.
It's doing as well as a heater I spent over 200 bucks on a few years ago. I'm very pleased with this little thing.

I bought this heater for my home office. At first, I thought it was a little small, but after turning it on....WOW! With its osculation and digital thermometer, it keeps my home office comfortable. And at my age, I can't remember to turn it off, so I set it to turn off automatically after one hour.

Not the heater for you if you need quiet!

My sleeping area is very difficult to keep warm. I have tried many heaters, and they all have had one disadvantage or another. Mostly, constant noise, or lighted coils. I wanted to get a heater from Best Buy, and I read all of the reviews of heaters that were available. The reviewers mostly seemed to think this heater was somewhat quiet, or at least you could get used to the hum. Plus, it didn't light up while heating. I bought this heater, and tried it in the bedroom. While I can get used to a fan while sleeping, I cannot tolerate heater noise while sleeping. This heater lasted less than 3 days in the bedroom before it was reassigned to a room where noise doesn't matter. Right now it is in the bathroom. I have noticed that when the thermostat is set for a temperature higher than the room temperature, in the bathroom, the heater shuts off prematurely. It could be from the humidity. So, I put it on the HI (constant) setting while I am in the bathroom, and it is shut off when I am not in the room. It's a good heater, but just not meant for any area larger than a bathroom-sized area, or a closet-sized bedroom, and certainly not where noise is not wanted. I will keep looking for the elusive perfect bedroom heater!

We got this heater in October for my son's room since it's the coldest room in the house. Living in Montana we get some pretty cold temps. This heater has been a life-saver. My son can sleep at night with a light to medium thick blanket and not be cold. A must have if you are considering on buying a heater

Solid fan for the price

I have had this fan running in my childs room for over a year without a single problem. Yes the fan has a higher noise output compared to others but in the same price class, there is no comparison. Noise equals output of heat. Unless you plan to go with a Dyson or a Vornado that will cost you double or triple, you get a good fan for the price. Sound is not so much of an issue for us as it is "white noise" for our son to sleep anyway.

have parts of my house that get drafty when the temps fall in to the 20's, set this at 68 and it comes on when ever it drops below that. so for what I bought it for it works great. great for heating moderate to small rooms such as a beadroom or office.

Love this little heater, works like a champ and the controls are great since I'm very picky about the temp I sleep at. The noise actually helps me sleep so sometimes I keep it on LOW so it'll run for longer, but winter time I keep it set to MAX.

It heats up the room quickly and stays warm. HOWEVER, it has a feature that should turn the heater off at whatever temperature you set it to shut off. This feature does NOT work. I set the temp turn off/on feature at 68; it turns on if the temp drops below 68 but it does NOT turn off when the temp rises above 68. I've noticed that it turns off at 3 degrees higher when it reaches 71. Thus, this feature is not at all consistent.
