Does the job, be prepared for heat

We run it for about 8 hrs of the day. It does create a lot of heat. We expected some but this creates a little more than we expected. Still probably a 4 1/2 stars besides that point.

Customer service efficient. We were still able to use the dehumidifier immediately. It is quieter than our previous Frigidaire. Noticed improvement in humidity the next day.

Great addition to the family

A few of my neighbors also came over. Nobody could believe how wonderful this dehumidifier is. We sat around it all day in the basement watching a game , having drinks and nobody was focused on the game but kept watching the dehumidifier do it’s job . The sound and the way It takes out the humid air was just peaceful . It was an experience we all shared . We will have lasting lifetime and memories of that special day.

I attacked the included hose to the back and placed the other end in the floor drain. Still, it leaked a bit from the connection and the bucket is filling up with water. I called Honeywell and they said it might work better if i elevated the unit - which is on rollers and heavy. It’s also very loud.

Like any other electrical device, this dehumidifier will crate some sounds when operating, because of the powerful machine working to remove the moisture from the air. This is normal sound. This dehumidifier will drain water using the force of gravity, so the drain hose needs to be angled down into the floor drain.
