I turn it on about an hour before I have my friends over, and it takes the edge off when we watch football. It's quiet so I can leave it on while the game is on. I have not noticed a great impact to my electric bill, either.

It heats effectively, quickly and evenly. If there is one thing - it's about the controls and setting the temperature. But despite that, I have not gotten to the point of the room overheating or not heating enough. Pleased.

It's very quiet and heats about a 600 square foot room in 20 minutes or so. Can't beat the price. I would highly recommend getting one if you need to take the chill out of the air in a small living space.
