I have a Honeywell air purifier so I was pretty confident in my fan purchase. It made an awful noise when you set it to oscillate so I just turned that off. My air conditioner was out so I was desperate. I decided to keep the fan if the oscillator worked so I tried it once more and it rotated with no noise. I woke up the next day and noticed it was remaining stationary. Now if you try to turn it on, it makes a grinding sound and doesn't move. I plan to return for store credit..

I purchased this fan to go on one of my nightstands, since there is no ceiling fan and I don't want to set the A/C on low all the time. But I tend to overheat while sleeping. This fan provides enough of a breeze to keep me feeling cool through the night. The noise is not obtrusive, especially if you like white noise for sleeping (I do). And the oscillating feature makes it quite effective.

This fan is quiet, versatile, and not expensive. Four stars only because it is a bit tall for a nightstand.

Love the options of noise cancellation and being able to select a timeframe for shut off.

This fan was exactly what I needed. Very quiet, and pumps out a very cool breeze. I have this in my one-year-old daughters room, and it is just right to quietly put her to bed, and it fits anywhere because it’s so compact!

put it on one of the two lower settings and it works great for white noise. fits on your nightstand and doesn't take up a ton of space. buttons are not great but it's cheap and it works.

We sleep with 3+ fans every night. The thought of going on vacation without a fan is TORTURE! Sometimes hotels will have fans but it’s always on a first come first serve basis. We’ve actually been know to buy a fan once we get to our destination and just mail it Home. However, for our NCL Alaskan cruise this summer we learned the ship does not have fans!!! I went to Best Buy and got this fan and it’s PERFECT! It’s small enough to fit in your suitcase, just barely bigger than a mans toiletry bag! And it WORKS! With the multiple speed/sound settings we were able to have enough fan “noise” and excellent air flow! We HIGHLY recommend this portable fan! It would also be a great desk top fan for work!

Needed a compact fan for my garage and this one definitely fit the bill.

Bought this and was disapointed that I could only feel air about 12 inches from the fan. It was quiet and had several speeds. Just did not put out enough volume of air. Had to return it to Best Buy. Did buy another fan there that I really like.
