My wife is illergic to pollen and we mainly used it during the remainder of the spring. before I got it, there was pollen all over ther floor. After cleaning the pollen and purchasing this item, there was close to no pollen on the floor. This was used in a small 6X7 room.

Not too loud, but not too effective either

It is not too loud, unless you put it on the highest setting, which is supposed to be for allergens. The appliance is small, which I liked, but if it cant do its job, there is no point in having it.

Posted .Thanks for taking the time to write a review! I would recommend running the unit for a couple of weeks. After a couple of weeks, look at the pre-filter. You should see dust, hair and other particles . trapped in the filter.
