This is kind of a cheap fan, but it's fairly functional. The quality is nothing great - lots of lightweight plastic parts, and not a lot of innovative features. I was a bit disappointed that the oscillation control (which makes it turn from side to side) is a manual post that you lift (to stop oscillation) or press in (to enable it). That's an old-school design and it's inherently somewhat noisy with rattles and vibrations in either setting - at least when the fan is powered up above the bottom two speeds. On the other hand, this fan blows. That's what you want it to do, right? At high speed it puts through quite a bit of air, it has several speed settings to choose from, and it has a built-in timer. Also, it's easy to put it together, and you don't need any special tools (other than maybe a scissors or a knife to get into and through the packaging). Doesn't take long at all. If you want a decent fan for not a lot of money - nothing fancy - you probably won't be disappointed by this one, overall.

This Honeywell QuietSet 1634 Stand Fan with Remote Control was easy to put together, seems well made, is cooling me nicely right now on the Refresh setting, is very quiet and has a very convenient remote control. What more could you ask for at $50. I'm happier and cooler than I was before this purchase. Thank you Best Buy for having it in stock at the Simi Valley store now that it's starting to heat up in Southern California.

I have to say i like this, never found one with up to an 8 hr timer, Very very quite. The different settings are great from very little breeze to high. Very affordable too.

This fan is easy to put together and is strong and stable. It is the quietest fan I have ever had. I like the remote. The air flow is excellent. It is a good value.

After an oscillating fan stopped working, looked for updated version to keep living space cool. Great features to the product including the 5 speed settings, timer and remote control. The quietest setting is barely heard for light sleepers. It is nice being able to program it to stay on for 1 to 5 hours.

After reviewing numerous stand fans, based on prior customers' reviews, I chose this fan. I am very pleased. The fan is super quiet and has several options including a shut-off timer and 4 or 5 fan speeds. It works very well circulating the air in my large livingroom.

Very handy product to meet the need for what it was designed. Easy to assemble. Light weight. Affordable price. If you have AC in house and need something to circulate air around your room, this is a very good option. This is not a air cooler and hence just throws air on you at room temperature. This do not cool air. Remote is really helpful. Acceptable noise made when run at highest speed. If you are a pitch dark and dead silent environment sleeper, you might find this product annoying. Spits out more air when compared to tower fans. The blades, mounts and base are plastic which makes this product really lite as well as weak. This may trip on you easily due to its light weight.

Great fan for the price. The speed settings are great, and the fan is very quiet at lower levels. The fan works great, was easy to put together, and the remote makes it even better. This fan sits in my office and is a distance away in the corner. The remote makes it easy to adjust, and turn off or on. I just wish the remote could control oscillation. But this is me just being lazy. Overall great fan for the price.

This fan is awesom it has a remote that allows you to control the speed, direction and amount of air that it puts out with a touch of a few buttons. It was easy to assemble and light in weight. It fits nicely in any corner of any room or maybe sit it in the center of any room either way the fan will cool a room off in no time, and no more jumping outta bed to turn it up, down or off.

I am so very pleased that I purchased this fan when I did, it works just as advertised, It's very quite and the remote control just makes it perfect. A lot of places sale this fan, however, I recommend buying it from "Best Buy" the beat everyone's price all I had to do was call customer service and they were more than happy to give me a lower price than, Target.

I love the timer on it. You can set it up to eight hours. The two gripes I have about this fan is that it could be about four inches taller and maybe it is just me but the high setting really feels more like a medium setting. I have tried many floor fans and this is one of the best for the price.

This is a very quiet well built fan. The remote function is very useful as well as the shut off timer. the only draw back is that it is a little short. Otherwise a very good fan

Easy setup. I put it together in under 5 minutes. The different settings are very useful, there are 5 from silent "sleep" to moving a lot of air. In sleep mode it is whisper silent but a light draft can be felt from over 10 feet away. Really, a great fan. Plus it has a wireless remote!

This fan moves a lot of air, the remote control feature controlling fan speed,on/off, and sleep timer is very nice with a solid adjustable stand. The light indicating fan speeds 1-5 can be bright at night ,I take a little piece of duct tape and cover it up problem solved.I would highly recommend this fan!

This fan is mostly great. It keeps the room cool without sounding like you're sitting next to a wind turbine. The only small complaint is that there is a tendency to squeak when the fan is oscillating aimed lower. Aiming it slightly upward gets rid of the sound.

I purchased this fan for my wife. She frequently uses it at night in the bedroom. This fan is quiet and does not disturb me. The remote control allows her to turn it on or off and control levels without getting up. It works as it should and is perfect for this purpose.
