We purchased this fan because our bedroom gets too hot and we do not want to freeze out the rest of the house in order to be comfortable in our bedroom. The obvious answer is to buy a fan, and we wanted to get a decent one. This fan works great as a fan; that is to say that it certainly does keep us cool. However, within 4 weeks of purchasing it, the display stopped working correctly. Instead of showing the desired temperature or current temperature in the room, it just lights up random bars in the display, forming non-sensical symbols where the temperature should be. With all the "features" this fan has, we have been relegated to just picking a desired setting and leaving it there. I do have to say it's nice to have a remote.

This is the perfect fan for getting the most out of your already cooled/conditioned air. Whisper quiet & more than sufficient air flow,perfect for the bedroom. The timer & remote control are added bonuses,I'd highly recommend getting this model vs the more expensive models similar in size/features. An excellent overall bargain.

We use this in our game/exercise room to provide extra comfort. It was super easy to install, has a small footprint, good features, and quietly moves lots of air, especially for the price point. The auto-thermostat feature is great - once it hits your set temperature, it kicks on automatically. The remote is also easy to use (all functions - power, oscillation, fan speed, temp), which typically stays on the treadmill for easy access.

I really like this fan. I had gotten one before, and this is now my second one. I like the small footprint (it's tall and slim so the height of the breeze is greater than other fans) and the fact that there are many adjustable speeds. You can also set it to oscillate or not, set it to turn off after a period of time, and control it remotely. If I had to issue a complaint, it would be that you can't turn the display off. At night the LED display is brighter than you might expect and it lights up the room more than I like. I end up putting something on the top of it.

Great fan. Comes with a lot of different fan mode option, varying in speed. It also swivel back and forth. Fan is currently used in a 2 bedroom apt and it cools the whole place nicely. Remote that comes with it is a nice touch.

I bought 2 of these fans a year ago. I had a different fan from a different manufacturer and it was so noisy when it was oscillating that I could not sleep. I took it back and replaced it with this one which is quiet when stationary and oscillating . It has a remote which is nice once you are in bed and need to adjust the fan speed (which there are 8 of and I have only used it up to 4 but it is still quiet on all the speeds). There are also several setting for the timer but I have not used them, it is either on or off. The only problem I had was the light on it for the different speeds and temperature was very bright and I had to cover it up so I could sleep. This may not be a problem for many people but I like it very dark in my room when I am sleeping. I am so glad that I took the other fan back and bought this one.

The tower fan works well in helping keep my room and apartment cool. No AC means it gets hot up here but fan has different speeds depending on your needs. Fan is also very quiet compared to others.

This is a great buy! Super affordable and it was able to cool down my small studio. It comes with a remote control so I'm able to turn it up or off without having to walk to it.

I replaced my wind tunnel fan due to the noise it made at night. This fan is quiet and does not take up a lot of room. Love the remote control option.

We purchased two. Both worked fine the first day. The second day one unit had a display malfunction where the blue light which highlighted which level it was on would not light up for one setting but was still blowing air, and the temp display numbers were not functioning. I called Honeywell and stumped their tech support to the point they said it was faulty and requested I return it back to Best Buy for another. Which we did. First night the unit worked fine by day two...same issue only level light won't light on a different setting??? We did however choose to keep it because despite the display it does work very well for cooling the room off. Also, in all this time the second unit purchased works perfectly and has since day one! So would I recommend off performance for room cooling...yes. But I hope that we haven't made a mistake and the faulty display turns into a bad working unit. Only time will tell.

I trusted the reviews I had read and purchased this fan and I couldn't be happier. It REALLY cools down the room. It feels like AC. I love the different speeds available and the noise level isn't bad at all. The remote is great to adjust speed and oscillation. There were other fans on sale at the time I bought this, but I am so glad we went with this fan.

I bought a Dyson fan and it was nice but too loud. About 3 weeks after I bought it it started making a grinding noise when it oscillated. So I took it back to exchange it only to find out they didn't have any more. I got this fan instead and have been very impressed with it, and saved me a couple hundred dollars.

Honeywell - Quiet Set Whole Room Tower Fan is a very good fan.It has 8 speeds. my room(15 ft x 30 ft ) is big so I bought two of them .Before I bought this fan I bought another tower fan ,it was not good as this one so I went and returned it .I like the height of this fan. Although tower fans are not powerful as pedestal fans but it saves a lot of space.I am happy with this fan.

Overall, I really like this fan. It supplies a nice breeze, looks modern, and doesn't take up too much space. The one knock on it would be is if you want that super super fast blowing high speed it may not get there for you. It feels as though there should be one more higher speed setting at time, but I guess that's what you sacrifice for it's quietness.

This is a great fan. It has many settings and options, and they are all very quiet. We use it on the lowest setting in the bedroom at night - even when it's cool - just nice to keep the air circulating without have a big fan blasting on you. It is also very light weight, and easy to move from room to room. It's on right now, in fact, and it's so quiet you can't even hear it with the TV on. Love it!

i really liked this brand which is Honywell since i bought the first small fan. Now i have 3: small, mid, and the big one. But this one is the best i think for 2 reasons: 1- the remote control , you can turn on, off, fan up, down,... by the remote. 2- verity of speed , most of them comes with 2,3 or 4 speeds, but this monster comes with 8 speeds = you can choose the right speed with out getting annoyed.

I have been using this fan for over a month now and it works perfectly. Without having to cool my entire house with the AC, I can use this fan in the living room to keep the temperature comfortable. It's quiet in the low settings and even in the high settings it isn't too loud. It turns easily and puts out a nice breeze.

Quiet , different levels of speeds and helpful remote

This fan not only looks stylish, but works well. With 8 speed settings, it is easy to find the right amount of air depending on how you feel. If you change your mind, there is a remote so you don't even have to get up to change it. How convenient! It is lightweight, so it is easy to move around. Overall it is a great fan!
