Great Movie! Great Fun! A great movie for family night. the 4K resolution, and HDR are a big improvement from the DVD our family has owned for years. The new Height Surround Channel Mix makes it an even more engaging experience! A wonderful Peter Pan adaptation. Robin Williams genius brings a special warmhearted feeling to the story. A Master Artist, Actor, Comedian, He will be greatly missed by our family.

RUFIO! RUFIO! To admit I have not seen this film since I was a little kid, and had a blast re-visiting it. I believe it was released in 91. I was 6 and enjoyed it very much. The movie itself is awesome. Seeing Robin Williams brings back sadness of his passing, and how good of an actor he was. The 4K scan for this is real 4K and not an upscale, so it is well worth the investment.

One of my all time favorites from growing up. An instant classic and seeing it in 4k was like watching it again for the very first time. Excited to introduce this to my children one day. Highly recommend!

This movie doesn’t get the respect it deserves. The concept is unique (what if Peter Pan grew up?) and well executed. Robin Williams is great as are Hoffman and Roberts. And it’s directed by Spielberg. I’m sure if it had the word Disney on it the critics would rave about it. But as it is, it exists as a disrespected, wonderous adventure that both kids and adults will love.

Steven Spielberg takes on a classic fairy tale and gives it a new spin that no one saw coming. The boy who never grows up does exactly that and Robin Williams plays it to perfection. Works well for all ages and the older you get the more jokes you pick up. Dustin Hoffman, Julia Roberts, and Bob Hoskins all shine through brilliantly. A great movie and definitely worth the watch.

This is a great Steven Spielberg release from the early 90's with an interesting take on Peter Pan. I thoroughly enjoyed this film when I was a lot younger on DVD and after watching it in 4k HDR I can honestly say that it was aged well and survived the test of time. Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman do such a great job bringing Peter Pan and Hook to life.

Sony did an AWESOME job with this release. This set includes a full restoration of the film in 4K, which looks AMAZING and identical to how I remember seeing in theaters, back in 1991. The audio is very good as well. This set also includes a Blu-ray. Highly recommended if you have a 4K TV and a surround sound system.

This movie is way more than a kids movie! Its filled with all types of life's lessons. Parents sometimes forget what it was like as a kid and this movie reminds you that as we get older, life kills the kid in us. Fortunately, our kids remind us of who we once were so we can get back to that person. This movie is awesome. I love the cast and the message is strong!

Hook was one of those classic movies that I loved years ago, and when I found it on BluRay for a great price, I jumped at it. After losing Robin Williams last year, I have been trying to put more of his amazing movies in my collection. Hook is a fabulous, fun movie for the whole family. You will laugh, you will get choked up, but most of all, you will enjoy!!!

Sure miss Robin Williams, and seeing him as Peter Banning, the uptight business man turned into, well we know. Peter and his family Tavel to England to visit Granny (Maggie Smith). Granny has magic and the Peter we thought we knew becomes a little boy again. His business affairs are all forgotten, and Peter and his family become alive.

This is an AMAZING MOVIE! Robin Williams plays Peter Pan along with Dustin Hoffman as Capt. Hook. I already own this movie but I purchased this copy in 4K ULTRA HD because this FORMAT IS FANTASTIC. If you are a BIG MOVIE FAN, UPGRADE TO 4K ULTRA HD FORMAT... you will be glad you did!

I'm not sure if there's anyone alive who -hasn't- seen this movie yet, but if you happen to be one of those people, I see no reason why you shouldn't check this out. Not only is it a great performance from gone-from-this-world-way-too-soon Robin Williams, but it's a pretty cool take on the Peter Pan mythos and the bittersweet truths about growing up. Is it a bit cheesy at times? Yeah, but it's all in good fun, and whether this is something you watched as a kid, or need something to watch with your own children, you can certainly do much worse.

Love this movie. I've had some older movies that are amazing in difference for the 4K version. This one, not so much. If at must, it's updated to HD.

Parents need to know that Hook is a 1991 Steven Spielberg-directed movie in which Robin Williams plays an older version of Peter Pan who must "become young" again to save his kids after Captain Hook kidnaps and takes them to Neverland. It's a dark comedy and I love to watch classic Robin Williams

One Robin William's best vehicles: Tragic father who's too busy to spend quality time with his children, to "lost boy", to defiant hero! Impeccable "Hook" from Dustin Hoffman and "Smee" from Bob Hoskins. Julia Roberts as "Tinker Bell" (hubba-hubba). The Lost Boys are hilarious.

Sony remastered “Hook” in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative (2.39:1 aspect ratio), which produces exceptional clarity from the numerous wide shots – a Spielberg trademark – to finely detailed close-ups with a healthy dose of natural film grain throughout.

If you're into 4k HDR and seeing what this new media standard can do for older movies then you have to buy Hook on 4k HDR blu ray. The colors and sharpness are dramatically improved. It makes this movie look like it was made yesterday on my HDR tv. A must buy.

The film is a nice upgrade from DVD/Blu-ray to 4K. The picture isn't completely crisp, but that seems to be more of a filming issue than a quality control issue. Very enjoyable film.

This is not Spielberg's best film and it hasn't aged particularly well. Still mediocre with excellent audio and above average video.

Overall quality of the image is sharp and colorful with excellent black level exhibiting little to no visible compression artifacts. The nultichannel audio is serviceable, with surround channels adding and provides for encompassing effects
