Having 2 batteries makes the use time great. Only draw back is when going over a thicker shag carpet the spin brush sometimes stops.

So far the only problem I have had is hair in the spinning brush, but that is an easy fix. It is great having two batteries, but truly I can complete my downstairs with just one. I have hardwoods and carpet and this vac has worked well on both. Highly recommend this cordless vacuum!!
