I have 2 newfoundlands that shed a lot. It picks up the hair and dander better than my last vacuum. Gets up a lot of dust and easy to use. On the negative side, it squeals sometimes (not bad though), tends to fall over when using the hose and the pet attachment doesn't have the power I need to clean the stairs.

The bearing in the brushroller of an old Fantom Fury died and it was much easier to purchase a brand new vacuum than to try and repair/replace the old brushroller. This Hoover is quite an upgrade. It came out of the box ready to use and was very easy to operate. Good price at best buy also :)

We bought this vacuum yesterday because it was on sale for $99.99, marked down from $169.99, but returned it to Best Buy today. We were pleased to find that it works great and especially like that it's steerable, unlike most vacuums. However, we're disappointed that the brushroll is not height adjustable (it's "automatic" instead) and that's a shame. (Just in case, I called Hoover but was told there's no way to alter it.) We have a large, low-pile, natural-fiber sisal area rug in our living room and found that the brushroll had started fraying it. At first we thought it was our cat's hair flowing into the dirt cup but it became quickly apparent that the volume was too great for that to be. Because we couldn't adjust its height, the brushroll dragged on the carpet a little, enough to fray the fiber, so we stopped using it immediately. Again, this is a great vacuum and it's a shame that Hoover chose not to include the adjustable height feature, thus we exchanged it for a Hoover WINDTUNNEL 2 with that feature.

I bought this to help me clean house quickly. I just grab it and vacuum up all the dirt around the house, on all floor types. Light enough to even clean the return registers on the ceiling and any hard to reach areas behind and over items.

This a good powerful vacuum. I bought a Dyson for twice as much. It couldn't cut it. I came to best buy and bought the hoover. It's got nine more amps over the Dyson. I only call it good because I have yet too see it's lifetime. If it holds up it deserves a excellent review.

This four star review is by no means a bad thing. The vacuum has really good suction power, and the brush really pulls up pet hair well. It also maneuvers well with a turn of the wrist. I am sensitive to allergies and have used this a half a dozen times, and it hasn't affected me at all. I am used to pushing a self driven vacuum, though, so this not-so-heavy vacuum did still seem a bit difficult to push. Also, when emptying the container, I'd recommend going straight to your outside trash, as the dust goes everywhere. All of the pieces are easy to detach and reattach and, though they're plastic, seem to be well-made and durable. All in all, though, this is a nice vacuum at a very reasonable price.

I bought this Hoover vacuum cleaner because I have a dog that sheds a lot of hair. This is the perfect product for that. I also like the fact that you can go from carpets to bare floors with a flick of a button. It was a good price too.

I bought this because my canister vacuum cleaner was too heavy to use as I was recovering from a back injury. This is fairly light an easy to use. I did struggle with getting the canister off to empty it the first time due to inexperience.

I live in a small apartment and this vacuum is perfect. It is powerful and maneuvers easily around furniture. With one touch of a button I can easily move from carpet to bare floors. It is so far the best vacuum I have had over the years.

This little bagless vac really sucks up the dirt! Made me feel like I had been a worse housekeeper than I thought I'd been. ;-) Button placement is excellent: Floor/Carpet button is easily accessible right next to On/Off button.

I love this vacuum we used it after we vaccumed our carpet using our old vacuum cleaner and it does the job sucked a lot of dust/dirt on our carpet. Its not going to break your wallet so price to performance is great!

Great vacuum and great price! We have a dog who sheds all the time and this picks it right up. Easy to maneuver, easy to empty, only wish it had a retractable cord.

I am very happy with my new vacuum. It is great that it pivots around corners and is so easy to empty. It is a bit heavier than I expected, but not so much as to be challenging. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this for the office and I wish I would have purchased one for the house as well while they were on sale! I will be getting one for the house too! We have a Dyson and I love the ease of using this one.

This vacuum has been great at keeping pet hair cleaned up. I am always amazed by how much it picks up. Carpets look great after cleaning with it. still running very well.

I am in love with this vacuum! It literally picks up everything off the carpet. I have really bad allergies so I was looking for a great vacuum and I found it. Def worth the price I paid!

This is good vacuum cleaners with decent price and quality wise it's good enough for the small area cleaning and carpet area

Got this as a Deal of the Day and am very happy with this vacuum. Its slim and has good suction, also love the steerability. Only thing from a 5 star would be that you cannot adjust height of bristles.

I have a three story town house apartment. My roommates and I also have a boxer. The vacuum is light enough to move from floor to floor with ease. The vacuum picks up hair, and dirt really well.
