I wanted to return it to you, but the problem that i threw away it's box. I hope i can get my money back, and give you that bad vacuum cleaner which i'm not getting benefit of.

My home has both hardwood and tile floors and young children... Keeping them clean has been using a vacuum and a mop has been difficult. My wife and I have been shopping around for a hard floor cleaner for some time. The all-in-one cleaning tools we've reviewed lacked in either suction, scrubbing, or drying (streaking). I was pleasantly surprised by the FloorMate's performance. It's easy to operate and it uses water and soap efficiently. It's vacuum is adequate for the job. Both the tile and the hardwood floors looked squeaky clean after using the FloorMate. The module which holds the spin brushes can easily be replaced. The suction nozzle has a squeegee and it also comes off; I suppose it might need to be replaced from time to time.

Do not buy, does a bad job. bad bad bad not much to say about this lousy floor cleaner

I have never written a product review but after using the Hoover Floormate - I just had to comment. Having built a new home with laminate and tile floors - I tried every floor cleaner available - steam cleaners, microfiber mops to just name a few - all with poor results. I purchased my Hoover Floormate from BB and what a difference it has made. It picks up sand and pet hair and leaves my floor streak-free - you can FEEL the difference. No the vacuum does not pick up large debris but that's not what it was designed to do. The cleaning solution really leaves a fresh smell but I have used Mr. Clean w/Febreeze and even a touch of Dawn in a pinch. It is easy to fill and empty. No complicated controls, buttons or latches. I use my Floormate almost every day and would recommend it to anyone. If this one dies - I will certainly head to BB for another one.

After being frustrated with trying to keep floors clean with 3 dogs who run in and out I saw the Hoover floormate commercial and did some research. After seeing good reviews purchased one. LOVE IT!!!! The downstairs den is a stone floor, It's not used much except for a pathway to the patio and back yard and an occasional play area for the grand kids. The dogs are always tracking in dirt and the oldest dog has occasional accidents. The floor isn't smooth and has divots all over and mopping would just push the dirty water into them and dry. The floor always looked dirty and drove me insane. The first time I used it it took some work to loosen the dirt out of the holes but cleaned the floor very well. Since the first cleaning all I do now is run it over the floor and rinse out the container. Keeps my floors looking and feeling clean. Also have used it on my hard wood floors and vinyl floors does great with very little effort. TIP: on really dirty floor or stubborn dirt I take off the front squeegee and clean then pop it back on to suck up the dirty water. Have also used solution of water, vinager and baking soda in it to clean.

I had a product similiar to this when these machines first came out. It was not made well and broke easily. This machine has been wonderful, especially since it is used so much. I like it because it takes up the water and none of the dirt is left on the floor. Also, I am not bending up and down constantly. another hint for new users--If their floor is an old floor, has a textured surface, or has been waxed a great deal--they will need to use this machine several times to see true results. I used it on a very old floor that had been waxed so much and not really cared for. But everytime I have used the machine it looks so much better. When it reaches the right point I will then wax it. We bought one for our daughter for her birthday.

I bought this product from Best Buy a week ago and it works fantastic! I have laminate floors in main living areas and bathrooms, 2 large dogs and a yard that has some dirt areas that turn to mud with water/rain. I have had these floors for over 10 years and dreaded everytime they need cleaning because I had found on the terry cloth "mops" and lots of elbow grease would get my floors clean without streaking- tried almost every cleaning product on the market. Now it's easy to clean all my floors quickly and often, used for second time today, dogs drool. I did not even use dry mode to pick up solution as the wet mode suction works great, but of course I am in AZ with 80 degrees in house and 10% humidity- floors dry in just minutes and shine without streaking. Highly recommend to anyone with laminate floors. The only item I wish was different isthat the solution container was larger, but that is a very minor inconvience. Thanks Hoover for make my life easier!

I have had bad luck with steam mops so when I saw a commercial about this I new I had to have it. Cleans fantastic! After cleaning my floors my son spilled some milk I grabbed paper towel and cleaned it up. The only thing on the towel was milk there was no dirt. I could not believe it! It is a little loud and it takes me an hour to clean all the floors but its well worth it. It never leaked for me but the booklet says not to store it on hardwood floors with water in it cuz some could leak out but I have had no problems.

We have tried everything for our tile floors, we have children, dogs, cats, heavy traffic. This is the easiest and our floors never felt cleaner. Very easy to use.

I have hardwood floors, I have 2 BIG hairy dogs and 2 children that love coming in and out. Since we bought this home I have been sweeping and swiffer wet mopping (atleast everyday), along with getting on my hands and knees. I have read these reviews along with many others and seen the commercials. So I decided to try it myself and I love it. I cleaned my floor the way I usually do then cleaned it with this and I couldn't believe how much I missed. (and my floors look great!!) Now I use just the hoover and it saves me so much time and make my floors look/feel clean. (Make sure you clean the brushes/tank out after use.)

I received this as a birthday present (gotta love the practical ones!) and it is fantastic! I don't even need to use the dry mode as I have heated floors; the suction is incredible! I have ceramic tile floors throughout most of my house and I used to dread cleaning them...and as it turns out, they weren't getting very clean before. I use the hoover grout cleaner once a week and my floors look amazing. Thank you Hoover and Best Buy!

We have 4 dogs and they love the mud....this machine cleans up the mess in no time, Without much effort! It is the best machine ever!

I have owned floormates since Hoover began making them. The old design was prone to break at the floor pedal. The new one has removed the pedal design altogether. The result is more suction, less moving parts to break, and no more broken pedals. This new design even is thicker in construction. I don't forsee any problems with this machine. It works great on floor tiles with big grout lines.

We've got hardwood floors and two dogs, this thing is the perfect solution for one-step cleanup. It vacuums, it mops, it dries (well, sucks up most of the water anyway). I would recommend this over a steam mop that you have to change or wash the pads, the only cleaning you have to do with this is dump the dirty water down the drain and rinse the reservoir. The only drawback is you have to refill the solution half-way through the cleaning but it's still better than mopping with a bucket of dirty water.

I have only used this on ceramic tiles and it does clean pretty well. However, if there is a tough stain, it does not remove them and I have to scrub it myself to get it out. It also dries the tiles so that it does not leave streak marks.

I like all feature! We have 2 dogs, and the vacuum on this picks up all the hair and then some.....I no longer have to get on my hands and knees to scrub the floor...it's wonderful

The first one I received didn't work, so I called the Hoover customer service -- waited for over 15 minutes on hold, no one ever did answer. New machine works -- and it does just what I want, BUT: it is so heavy that my back, shoulders, and neck are sore after every single use; it is very very loud; if you use it every day, the disassembling and cleaning can be wearing. Also I've found that it takes more than one pass to complete cleaning (vaccum, wash, drive), which takes a long time. Finally, as others have reported, the Dry feature doesn't always work very well.

Bought one today, took it home and cleaned the kitchen linoleum floor. It's a large area and very tiresome to do by hand. This machine did a wonderful job and made it a short term job! Easy to use, it cut the time by two thirds. Didn't even break a sweat! The floor looks great! No puddles, no streaks. Sucked up the water and the floor dried in about two minutes. Than I moved to the parquet in the dinning room. Again, it did a perfect job on the wood! Just follow the directions and enjoy the results! Wished I'd bought one years ago! Cleaning actually got a little more fun to do!

I chose this one because it has the 13" cleaning brushes which are wider than the Spin scrub Deluxe. I originally ordered the Spin Scrub Deluxe but wanted the wider cleaning brushes because I have alot of hard floor. Actually the Spin Scrub Deluxe picks up the water better and has a 2 year warranty. In that regard,Spin Scrub Deluxe is the best product among the 2 Hoover Floormates I tried. This one performs well enough but I take a rag to the floor after the cleaning because it doesnt get the residual water. It only has a 1 year warranty. I have only had it a week, so dont know how well it will hold up.

Great Item - Highly Recommend....works very well and replaced an old one I had that quit working.
