This is my first cordless vacuum and I got this one on sale on 8/21/2019. So far so good, battery last enough to do my 1,200 sq ft house 3 times. The only thing I get annoyed with is the battery sometimes you have to put in in twice before it get going when you turn it on. Overall I’m satisfied and would buy it again. Dyson is too expensive for me and I don’t regret buying this at all.

It has little force, it is very fragile, it slipped and broke, it only uses for very small areas because the suction is very low, the battery is not very durable and it is difficult to remove and put on, if you plan to use it in large areas with carpet buy any other vacuum cleaner

Constantly clogs up due to too little space between opening from the tube into the storage space. So forget that it says it is for pet hair. I spend more time unclogging than vacuuming. I do like the portability being that it is cordless and lightweight. It could also use something to mount on the wall to hold it when not in use.

We have had so many vacuums throughout the years and they've all been geared toward pets and removing pet hair. We have two cats and two dogs and of course they shed like nobody's business so it's a constant battle to keep up with their fur on the carpet, on the couch, etc. We have had Dysons, Sharks and now we have the Hoover. The Dyson originally worked very well but was eclipsed on the pet hair front by our Shark. How would the new Hoover Fusion compare to the excellent corded Shark?
My first vacuum from Hoover Fusion resulted in a defective vacuum that would start up and worked just fine except the mode button went bonkers and I would soon find that it would not light up at all. A quick explanation here of the mode button. The mode button switches between pure vacuum, the carpet sweeper and the hardwood floor sweeper. So without the mode button working you could not use the actual vacuum part that you would run along the floor. A call to Hoover support though went fantastic. I got right through, zero wait time on hold and spoke to a wonderful, English speaking woman who took me through a few steps to ensure my vacuum did need replaced. Once it was determined that it would need replaced she put in an order and a few days later a new Hoover was at my door and a shipping label to send back the old one had been emailed to me. This was a great case I think in turning a negative experience, a defective product, into a really positive experience and something I wish all companies could learn from! Excellent job on customer service, just beyond the pale.
My second unit fired right up and the mode button worked beautifully so it was time to vacuum. It was nice to see that the unit did ship with a full charge so I could get right to trying this vacuum out. The unit came together quite easily and was pretty straightforward with minimal pieces. You really didn't even need any instruction manual. It was also nice to see all of the various attachments included for various sweeping situations.
I began to sweep and was very impressed with the Hoover Fusion, it picked up pet hair in spades from my carpet. The unit was very light and easy to maneuver. The liberation from the cord was a great feeling and made for much quicker cleaning as I went through the nooks and crannies of my house. It also did a really great job of getting under furniture with very little effort thanks to its very low profile. All in all I was very impressed with using the Hoover Fusion using it for the first time. Please note though that there are a few downsides to the Hoover Fusion that you should be aware of. One is a little more annoying than the other two, which are relatively minor. The first is that some of the pieces that you take on and off the vacuum are very tight and can be a bit of work to take on and off because of just how tight they snap into place. There are buttons on the vacuum that you press that are supposed to 'release' the piece but sometimes it can take a little effort to get the piece to come free. However, I do not find this to be a very large flaw because I think, in time, the pieces will loosen up a little as you take them off and put them on again and again. The second flaw is that you do have to empty the vacuum a little more than I'd like. The tank to hold the pet hair and swept up contents could stand to be just a little larger I think. The last and largest flaw, is how one has to empty the unit. Since pet hair seems to accumulate up along the ridge between the filter and the plastic casing you really have to use an object to help you dislodge the hair. A pen, a butter knife or something you can go up in there and just pull forth the hair. It's not a huge deal really and maybe if you didn't have a ton of pet hair this wouldn't even be an issue but I found myself going around the house with a small butter knife in my pocket to assist in emptying the unit.
Bottom line, is this a good vacuum I should purchase? Yes it definitely is, the pros far outweigh the cons. But how does this stack up to the current king of pet hair removal, the corded Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro? Well pretty damned good I think! Sure it doesn't quite have the suction power, it probably has about 75% of it, but that is offset by the convenience of going cordless. And speaking of cordless, I did find that the claims of Hoover to get about two hours of vacuum time to be accurate.
I can honestly say I'd wholeheartedly recommend the Hoover Fusion vacuum. The fact that it's so light, does such a great job of getting the pet hair and that it can be used in so many convenient ways, as a handheld, a regular vacuum, an above the head long sweeper, etc means that this vacuum will be the go-to vacuum in our household for many years to come. Pet owners, you NEED THIS!!

Powerful Suction, Multi Attachments, Longlasting

I have been really impressed with this product. I was looking for an easy lightweight portable vacuum with good suction and have been pleasantly pleased. This vacuum comes with multiple attachments that helps in reaching areas of my house along with long battery life. The reservoir that holds the sucked up items is a good size that allows for full room cleaning before having to empty.
Hardware -
The unit itself has can easily be attach / detach to the attachments provided. The battery pack hides underneath so it does not get in the way when cleaning and the reservoir is easy to access / clean. The are multiple combinations you can perform with the attachments to reach the hard to reach places. The Brussels and wheels are made well and had no problem switching from Floor to Carpet Mode. The mode options are easy to switch between with a hit of a button between Floor and Carpet, along with the 2 hit trigger option. 1 hit and hold for quick suction runs and a 2 hit for an always on mode. My only wish was a light to be included on the front for dark corners or underneath furniture. However I do not consider that a make or break for me so did not take away a star.
Battery -
Battery life is average, I have found the dirtier the floor/carpet or harder your unit has to work the quicker the battery is drained. Otherwise if its a normal amount of cleaning the battery appears to last for about 3 large rooms. The charge basin is easy to place / remove the battery from and charges pretty fast. The Battery itself is what adds weight to the unit, otherwise overall its a pretty light system.

Versatile and powerful vacuum for carpet/tile/wall

We have been using the vacuum for over a month now and despite having only two “modes” it has been performing so well that it has basically replaced our Hoover WindTunnel 5 mode corded vacuum and our pair of small handheld vacuums (and other older DirtDevil).
Some pros: swivel steering, powerful suction, cordless technology, easy to switch parts.
Some cons: I would say that cleaning the dirt cup is the lowest point for this device, it is a little messy to do it.
Would have giving it a 4.5, but there are not middle points.
Details:
First setup: it was easy for the most part, although opening the box without tearing it apart was a little bit of a challenge (in case we needed to return it we were careful to preserve the box). It took less than 1 minute to get the three main parts attached (two clicks) and ready for its first carpet vacuum test. Battery was supposed to not be charged, but it took only a couple of minutes to go from “blinking” to “unblinking” when placed on the charger station.
First vacuum: first time using a cordless vacuum, as we always had corded ones. It felt a little more “effort” to keep it right than other upright ones, this was expected as the more weight is near the top where the battery and the dirt container are placed. It was just a different experience to a regular corded upright vacuums we’ve had, easy to move around, circle round objects, go under the tables, switch from carpet/rug to tile with just on finger. Switching parts was easy, replaced with the hand brush to reach corners in the walls that were collecting some spider webs; although it felt a little heavy when reaching up to the corners (compare to the lighter handheld vacuums we have) it was refreshing to see how fast we were able to remove the webs and dust. After about 25 minutes we did most of the first floor with the walls included, we wished at the point to have a second battery to finish up the whole thing. The dirt cup contained a lot of material, we were very pleased with the performance.
Regular use: usually before using it we make sure the battery is fully charged, so that we have a better estimate how long we have left (well the battery level is displayed on the unit so even at not fully charged the remaining time can be estimated). We frequently do the transition from carpet to hard floor with the touch of a finger, noticed that it spins faster on carpet than on hard floor (so basically two speeds). It is so convenient with the swivel steering capability, that on its own makes it worth whatever money was paid for it, so easy to go around objects and underneath them even from the side (not going directly forward, but moving the vacuum right to left).
Swivel steering: this is one of the strongest points for the vacuum, it is easy to clean around round objects and corners or edges (already mentioned before). Even when I decided to clean, and my wife was sitting on the sofa with no intention in moving from there, it was easy to go under her feet, also, I would be lazy to pick some objects such as our bosuball, and going around them with ease was such a delight (I was actually enjoying vacuuming at that point). Very convenient.
Dirt cup: we’ve found that to proper way to clean/empty the dirt cup is by opening the whole thing and removing the filter and unfortunately using your fingers or some cloth to get rid of the particles attached to the inside parts. This is a little messy and I would say not really pleasant to do as you can breathe some unwanted dust (so need to be very careful when cleaning it).
Brush roll: definitely easy to clean, convenient if there are pets around or people with long hair as the hair would get stuck in the brush. We got a warning light once because the brush roll wouldn't move, clean the dirt cup and the brush and all was fine (we feared the vacuum was done, but what a delight it was working fine afterwards).
Battery life: it takes around 50 minutes to fully charge the unit and it lasts around 25 minutes, which is not bad, but we are considering buying a second battery to always have one ready for use. We had a couple of times where we left the fully charged battery on the unit but mysteriously it seemed to have lost some of the energy (still need to find out what really happened, I just write this here in case other people have had similar experience).
Wall mount: we haven’t used the wall mount because the vacuum is used in different places and haven’t felt the need to leave it at a specific place. For the battery charger though, its place is under one coffee table by the main living room, where a couple of other charging devices are.
Overall: very pleased with this device.

A powerful vacuum in a tiny package

When I got my first apartment, I had a large vacuum. It was powerful and it worked really well for a number of years. When it finally gave out, I was surprised to find that vacuums were taking a new design trend and becoming smaller and smaller. Fortunately, even though vacuums have gotten smaller, they have retained their power and still do an amazing job cleaning. The Hoover Fusion Pet Cordless vacuum is no exception.
This vacuum offers cordless versatility. I absolutely LOVE cordless vacuums because I hate the hassle that comes along with having to move around a cord and plugging it in room-to-room as I go. So, having a battery-operated unit is ideal for me. I’ve tried out a couple different cordless vacuums and while they pickup dirt and dust on non-carpeted floors, they just lack the power needed to really clean a carpet. This Hoover unit does not. It’s specifically designed to work on multiple surfaces and does an amazing job on carpets. When I tested it out, I vacuumed our home office, which has thick carpet in it. The vacuum performed beautifully and picked up everything in its path.
I actually showed this to my grandmother and she was super impressed by it. She said, “Oh, Wow!” When I vacuumed a section of the floor for her. She said, “Wow, that does just as good of a job as the big ones do!” And she’s right. I don’t have any method to test whether or not the amount of dirt and debris left on the carpet is the same as the larger vacuums, but the Fusion seems to do a pretty good job of cleaning.
The only complaint I have of this is vacuum is that it has a lot of little parts to it. I do wish that somehow these little parts — attachments and such — could be contained better. There is nothing worse than having a box of parts laying around. The vacuum does come with a wall mount so that you can secure it to a wall. This is kind of a nice touch. All in all, the Hoover Fusion Pet Cordless vacuum is a winner in my book. It does the job of bigger vacuums but takes up a fraction of the space.

I absolutely LOVE this vacuum. First of all, it is light weight and comes with all sorts of attachments. The vacuum transitions from carpet to hard floors with the push of a button which slows down the brush roll. It swivels and pivots around chair legs and under other furniture with ease. The brush roller pops out easily for removal of hair and other items that may get caught in it while vacuuming. My only complaint about it is about the dirt canister. The upper part of the cannister is a small, narrow space and sometimes large amounts of dust and dirt will get stuck in the top making it difficult to clean out the canister. The only other thing I'd like to see is a battery charger integrated into the wall mount. It would save so much space instead of having to set up the charger, which is pretty large, on a separate stand. All in all, a great tool. I may never sweep with a regular broom again!

Made To Withstand Pet Hair

I have learned in my later years of life that stick vacuums are awesome and lugging around a heavy one can be a task especially with multi-level homes and stairs like mine! The packaging was great, and sturdy so I don't feel like my machine was banged up in transit to me. Opening it felt very nice and every piece has a spot in the bag (nothing is crammed in like other machines which can be overwhelming with multiple pieces). Not this one.
Hoover's Fusion vacuum is amazing, with a quick charging battery that lasts much longer than my other one. I am most excited about the pet upholstery tool which is made of some type of rubber which works to collect the pet hair. It's cool and my dogs don't mind it being around. The thin crevice tool is cool as well because it can reach into fine places and corners that the brushes usually miss.
If you are looking for versatility then this cordless vacuum is it. The wall mount is easy to install and sits nicely in a spare closet which is unlike clunky vacuums with power cords. I'm not going to lie and say this guy is also coming with my to work because it's so easy to travel with and the cleaning team at work misses places and I can't wait to get those dust bunnies with the crevice tool.
Aesthetically it's beautiful and the purple hue is vibrant and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Clean up is simple as the canister is bag-less and within minutes it was good to see that my dark wood floors had hair I had missed. It told me that my vacuuming from a couple of days ago had missed important spots. It also showed me (literally) that the Hoover is worth it.
Glad Christmas is coming because this is going to be a great gift for my granny and I plan on trying to get her one as well.

Very quiet and battery hold a lot of power, you can vacuum the whole house with single charge and it clean pretty well, better than my roomba.
The motorized brush is powered by motor not air.
It is also pretty light you can hold with 1 hand and vacuum the whole house without tiring your arm.
You have to remove the battery to charge and I think this is good because if you have another battery, you can continue using the vacuum.
It would be nice if the whole thing including the tools can be hanged off the floor and come include with the powered stair brush but powered stair brush is sold separately.
The only problem is the debris often stuck in the upper area of the cup, when emptying the cup, you have to use a stick to manually retrieve it, see photo.

So when I opened the box, I was shocked. There are so many attachments in there is crazy, in a good way. I’ve posted a pic of the one that I use the most.
Setting up the vacuum was super easy. Learning how to use it was easy as well, just push the button and gives all the information you need on the top of the vacuum. I like the fact that it’s wireless, and can be charged by battery. It has a cradle for the battery to charge, and the battery life is great. I have another vacuum that I keep upstairs, and this one downstairs. It’s a perfect fit for my life, because it’s completely wireless. I can highly recommend this one, for sure.

This is my dream vacuum! I have never liked cords! And this vacuum operates with a battery which is easy to charge, put in and take out!
The Vacuum works on carpet or hard floors and cycles through the choices on the top of the handle. A nice feature is after double clicking the trigger you have continual power ON!
You are now free from holding the cord AND the trigger. This stick move around easily! I love seeing how much (mostly pet fur from my Jack Russell) gets picked up and fills the see through tank.
I like the quick release into the garbage and ready to go tackle some more!
I have vacuumed stairs by shortening the stick. I have vacuumed the car using some of the tools that come with the vacuum. I have LOVED vacuuming and that's saying a lot!
The bottom part does pick up quite a bit hair and so I pull it out and along with the brush which pops out, it is ready to go and go!
I did my whole three bedroom house on one charge! You can check to see how much battery has been used AND what's left on the top of the handle. I took the battery out and charged it up again to the next use!
So satisfying, especially at the cost savings I purchased at! I highly recommend this Hoover Pet Stick Vacuum!

Decent vacuum with good power and light weight. It's not a shop vacuum and won't suck the paint off the wall, but decent enough suction for light use around the house and for getting pet hair off stairs and such.
