This is my first stick vacuum and I really like the size and weight. It is a little top heavy with the battery but that’s a sacrifice for being cordless. Cordless is very liberating especially when you are going room to room vacuuming. I’m going to go ahead highlight the pros and will separate the cons. The battery life is quite good. I can get three mid-size rooms and my large living room done on one battery. Its also nice that it comes with 2 batteries in case I need to go further. It is very easy to assemble. It is also very easy to clean. The suction power for a battery-operated stick vacuum is absolutely excellent. This is also one of the very few vacuums that cleans edge to edge and can get in to very tight spaces. I use this to get underneath furniture my Dyson ball vacuum can’t get to. This vacuum is also great for stairs. I am very happy with this vacuum with the exception of a couple of things.
One of the cons with this vacuum is I don’t think it does exceptional on carpet. When I push it forward and pull it back on my thick pile carpet, I can see the head lift off of the carpet every now and then. I think this is due to the light weight of the vacuum vs thick carpet. This is why I primarily use this vacuum on hard floors vice carpet. Its also a bit top heavy and tends to strain my lower arm more than my other vacuum, however this is a product of having a battery-operated unit. My third con is simply how long it takes to charge the batteries. Its not that big of a deal given the fact they give you two but they do take quite a while to charge.
All in all, this is a wonderful battery operated ultra-portable stick vacuum. I did not expect such great performance from a battery-operated vacuum but Hoover delivered with this unit!

This is a well-designed unit. The beater bar is actually usable with carpet, and the bar can be easily removed for cleaning (nice touch). The suction is certainly adequate, and it comes with two batteries so that you can charge one while using the other.
Really, this unit is a compromise when compared to a corded vac. There are no cords while you are using it, but you are using a battery that adds weight to the handle area. The beater bar works well, but it is narrow because of the limited power.
This would work great for a smaller area, or for spot cleaning little messes. Do not expect, this to be able to easily vacuum a large house easily. But given the state of battery technology today, I am actually impressed with how well this works.
So, to summarize, don't expect miracles. You are trading power for more convenience.

When I got the hoover onepwr stick vacuum I was very excited. I have hardwood floors through out most of my house and carpet in the bedrooms.
I was excited for a vacuum cleaner that would work on both.
But after using this vacuum for a few days I’m sorry to say this isn’t it.
Let me start with the positives running off a battery makes it much more portable and being a a stick you can get it into much harder places and pickup up dirt and debris all over the house. It works great for getting into small spaces you usually can’t get to with a normal size vacuum.
The bad news, the battery life is terrible and it is very under powered. I can use it on a rug we have in the living room but actually using it on carpet and the vacuum shuts off because my carpet is too thick. Depending on what you use on the battery will run out very quickly.
This vacuum is much more suited to be used like hand vacuum and some use on hardwood floors.

Powerful little vacuum

I was surprised at first by how powerful this cordless stick vacuum is, and then by how long the battery life is. I've used other cordless stick vacs that worked great, but didn't have enough battery life. It's to be expected with cordless; you sacrifice for the convenience of not having a cord. But this one didn't have that issue. I was able to continue for a while and it was still going, but I was done. It kept at the same level of suction from what I could see. I could have switched the battery out for a second one and kept going.
I even vacuumed the edges of the room, getting the corners too, and then the vent cover for the central air unit, located on the ceiling of my place. I thought my arms would get tired, but it's definitely light enough to do that and other areas with little effort. I used the brush attachment for those, and it did a great job. I used the included upholstery tool for the couch, which worked great. I thought it would be a little heavy for those tasks, since the whole device is supported, but I didn't have any problems, even doing the corners and edges of the ceiling.
It came with everything to get started, including two rechargeable ONEPWR 3.0 lithium ion batteries, and a small battery charger, a wall mount, and three tools that can be used in place of the main floor attachment. It can also be used as a hand held. I only used that way once, but it worked well too. The batteries have a place on the top where you can press and it'll show you how much charge is left; when the vacuum is on, you can see that on the front of the device, so you know when it's getting low.
When I unpacked each piece, there were removable stickers (that did not leave any residue behind- thank you for that!) labeling parts and giving a few instructions. There's also a quick start guide, which was not as helpful as the user manual, as it didn't show assembly. It looked easy to figure out, but wanted to check first. It makes sense in that the way you think things go together is how they actually fit, very easy to assemble and only a few parts. They snap easily into place and stay secure. A push of a button and those same parts come off easily. It didn't seem like any of these parts would come off unexpectedly. It is very well designed. The dirt cup comes off with a slight pull and then you push the button on it, and can empty it right out in the trash. I was surprised how much it picked up- it was full of dirt/dust and pet hair, but continued to work well. I had to empty it once due mostly to the amount of pet hair, which is always an issue. I have another vacuum specifically for households with pets; this won't quite replace that but it comes close. Although if I got this one first, I would probably not look further.
I was really impressed with what a good job this did on multiple surfaces. It is top heavy, and wouldn't stand on it's own, but that's why there's a wall mount. That will keep it out of the way between uses. I'm very happy with this vacuum especially since it's so much easier than the full sized one, and I don't have to move the cord around.

The Hoover ONEPWR Blade + was easy to assemble. Within minutes it was together and ready to work. Charged the batteries overnight and used the Hoover the next morning. Battery lasted 15 minutes. There was sufficient suction, the vacuum is light weight and easy to maneuver. There was a learning curve as the head would lift off the floor as you twisted it to change direction. The enclosed battery charger is easy to install and has lights to show the stage of the charge. The stick vacuum does not stand on its own. The bin is larger than a handheld vacuum, but still on the small side. It easily snaps into place and removes for emptying. The Hoover ONEPWR comes with 3 attachments. Crevice tool, furniture brush and a dusting brush. There is also a clip-on attachment holder for 1 tool. With the push of a button its easy to add the attachments.

The roller brush stopped working within a month of purchasing this item, and I only have bare wooden floors with the exception of a couple of area rugs. The gears stripped out and now it is only good for using the attachments without the brush to suck up loose things. Worthless and a waste of money.

I really wish I could give this 5 stars, but it gets 4 because of the battery life. I understand that with portability there's a give and take. Plugged into a wall, you have limitless power and can suck away at dirt. But for this cordless vacuum, to maintain the amount of suction it needs a lot of power, and so unfortunately it doesn't last very long (which makes sense why it comes with 2 batteries).
On the plus side, vacuuming doesn't feel as arduous of a task since the amount of time you vacuum is shorted.
It cleans well and doesn't feel like a cheap vacuum. It's also aesthetically pleasing and the coloring is nice. It's a good, solid vacuum. Just don't be surprised by the lack of longevity, which still remains a problem for cordless vacuums.

The Hoover ONEPWR Blade+ is a great idea for a cordless vacuum.
Pros:
Suction is very good.
Battery life is excellent. Having two batteries provides over one hour of cordless vacuuming.
Flexible design so it’s a hand vac or can go under furniture with ease.
Cons:
The unit is kind of heavy to push.
The dustvault has a release button that is easy to bump and the vault falls off. It is sturdy since it didn’t break. It gets better when you learn to avoid hitting it. The vault does hold a lot of dust, though.
The mounting bracket is a little
flimsy but works. Mounting screws and anchors are provided.

No tangled/short cords, no messy bags ever again!

I am never going back to vacuums with cords, ever again. One of my number one pet peeves about vacuuming is getting the cord tangled up in furniture while vacuuming, or the cord being too short to cover a lot of ground, thereby making me constantly unplug and plug to reach all the spaces in my house. It’s not that I have a mansion by any means, but the placement of power sockets around our house coupled with our furniture, and add in the equation 3 kids’+2 adults’ stuff and I’m vacuuming in and out of objects, curving this way and that to get to all the nooks and crannies and open spaces. This Hoover cordless vacuum alleviates all that in the best way possible. I love that I now don’t have to think twice about whipping a cord around or plugging and re-plugging every time I vacuum. I love that there are no messy bags to deal with, not to mention buying an endless supply of bags (and having to hunt around for specific bags to fit a specific vacuum manufacturer and model). The suction strength is good, both on our carpeted floors and linoleum/hard floors. The charged up battery lasts a good length of time, could be a bit better but there is an extra battery included to keep charged up. I also love that it comes with a wall mount to keep it tucked away when not needed. The versatility of being able to change it to a handheld mode is a great bonus feature as well.

I prefer cordless vacuums to corded ones as they are just so much more convenient, especially for the car. However, power, battery life and constant need to empty the container, have been issues which I find annoying, and impractical.
Out of the box, the Onepwr was easy to assemble, and felt sturdy and well built, without being extremely heavy. I liked that it came with 2 batteries which seemed to charge fast with the included one battery charger.
This thing has some power. both with suction and with the carpet beater head. There are controls switches for carpet and floors, and adjustments within easy finger reach of the handle. It is surprisingly quiet, and the carpet attachment light is bright and a nice touch.
I had some good long usage before I had to switch out batteries so I would say each battery provides adequate power for everyday use. The battery charges fast, and with the optional dual battery charger, you will always have plenty of use available.
Power is excellent, and one pass is good enough for most cleanups.
I did find the dirt canister filling quickly, and you do have to watch that the filters don't clog as it will drastically reduce the cleaning power. Admittedly, I have found the same issues with other cordless vacs I have used. Clean out is easy but dusty, not to say that I prefer the old old bag method.
I use the vacuum a lot in my car so the center rod came be removed to shorten the length for car use. The power is excellent there.
All in all I like this vacuum. It is a vast improvement even over some of the very expensive models, and the dual batteries, and optional dual charger. makes a big difference in practicality. I wish the dirt canister didn't require as much cleaning, and the wall mount hanger was more substantial.

Powerful innovative design with easy cleaning (dump and wash filter). Many attachments including floor, carpet, furniture, curtain, car - can become a handheld and go flat to reach under furniture. Carpet head is smaller than most full sized vacuum so if used in larger room will require more back and forth..

Lightweight Stick Vacuum

I like having this stick vacuum. The ONEPWR system reminds me of various other systems usually found on cordless tools, one battery pack that works with a full arsenal of tools. This is extremely helpful as you build your closet of cleaners.
There are different power settings that allow you to tackle different levels of messes. Some errant pet hair around the edge of a hard floor is sucked up readily on the low power setting. For heavier debris I found the more powerful option to be better.
The suction power seems to not be quite as powerful as the stick options presented by Dyson. However, the dust cup removes completely and makes emptying it less awkward than the built in design on the Dyson.
Having multiple batteries and a dedicated charger is a must, especially if you have a larger area to vacuum. Being able to swap the battery and keep working, rather than waiting for an internal battery to charge has been a lifesaver.
I really like this lightweight stick vacuum.

For a battery-powered cordless vacuum, this vacuum works well. I like the way the dust bin connects to the vacuum as it makes it easy to disconnect and empty when needed.
However, it does have some shortfalls. Suction power seems ok overall but on bare floors, it is very hit and miss. For the most part it works well, but the second time I used the vacuum on a laminate floor I started to get a high pitch squealing or whistling. I have a feeling this has to do with the gap between the floor and the vacuum head causing it but I can't say for sure.
On carpet, the vacuum works fine no strange noises or anything and the suction is good. I would have liked the vacuum head to be a little wider as it takes a few more passes to get everything.
Other than the whistling noise that has started when using it on my laminate floors everything else about the vacuum seems good. Battery life is sufficient for a small apartment, I got about 12 minutes of use per battery on normal mode (Eco mode added a few extra minutes) and it seems to pick up most of the stuff that ends up on the floor. If you have a larger house this might not be the best solution but for smaller places, it's not too bad.

GREAT LITTLE STICK!

My wife and I were and are completely impressed with this stick vacuum! It’s the perfect pick-er-up-per! A must have if you have stairs. It’s not a full-size vacuum killer but excels at its intended purposes of attacking small or hard to reach jobs where power and lightness are needed. We obtained 14-16 minutes of use per battery at carpet (max) setting, over 20 at ECO. These times allowed us to complete any tasks we tackled.
Pros: Light, nicely balanced multitude of attachments. Easy to use. Power. Length of use per battery. Convenient easy to use controls. Well made.
Cons: non but trivial items which conflict with some of its positives such as controls, it is possible to roll the ball of your hand onto the power button shutting it off (several times), minor inconvenience.
