A Must Have for any ONEPWR User

For anyone who is using Hoover ONEPWR products, this dual charger is an absolute necessity. Sadly, this is because the battery life is quite poor. By having the ability to charge 2 batteries (at a higher speed than the default single-charger) you can use your tools for a much more reasonable amount of time.
In my case, I have found that the 3.0 Ah Battery provides me with 15 to 17 minutes of use (with the Blade+ Cordless Stick Vacuum or the Spotless GO Carpet Cleaner).
While this dual charger can hold two of the ONEPWR batteries, it is only able to charge one at a time. This may not be a practical problem, but it honestly bothers me.
I also don’t like that the charger is not designed to stand up. **See the attached pictures** The default single-charger (that comes with each ONEPWR product) sits upright on a table - just as you would expect. Drop the battery in - lift the battery out when it’s charged. ...But, for some reason, this dual charger is designed only so that it can be mounted onto a wall (hardware is included). Otherwise, it has to lie on its back (or be leaned awkwardly against a wall). If it is not mounted, it is MUCH less convenient and always looks out of place.
- It would have been much nicer if the charging base came with the option of being mounted with double sided mounting tape (instead of screws). This would drastically increase the convenience of where it could be mounted.
While there are a few minor annoyances, this product is a huge help. What makes these Hoover ONEPWR products worth buying is that there is a whole family of tools that are able to share batteries. With multiple batteries to charge, I absolutely recommend picking up this rapid-dual charger.
The batteries charged by this dual charger can be used in the following Hoover ONEPWR products:
- ONEPWR Spotless GO Cordless Handheld Deep Cleaner
- ONEPWR FloorMate JET Upright Vacuum
- ONEPWR Blade+ Cordless Stick Vacuum
- ONEPWR Cordless Hand Vac
- ONEPWR 3-Gal. Wet/Dry Vacuum
- ONEPWR 6-Gal. Wet/Dry Vacuum
- ONEPWR Cordless Hard Surface Sweeper
- ONEPWR Cordless High Power Blower
- ONEPWR Cordless Task Light

Charges the batteries sequentially and gives you the versatility of vacuuming with one battery and having another with a full charge so you can finish the job. When your finished vacuuming you can re-charge your batteries and store them on the charger until your next use. Indicators let you know the status of the batteries during charging.

Worthwhile addition to maximize your ONEPWR system

Verdict: the Hoover ONEPWR Dual Charger is a very worthwhile addition if you use ONEPWR batteries, thus maximizing the capability of your ONEPWR system.
Vacuum. I am using this dual charger with a Hoover ONEPWR Blade Plus cordless vacuum, which is a pretty great vacuum. Having the dual charger increases the utility of this vacuum because I can keep both batteries fully charged so that if I have a long vacuuming job, I can use two full batteries and vacuum for 40 min. Without this dual charger, I would be using the single charger to keep one battery charged up, and the other one just sitting in the vacuum. Most interesting to me, is that if I buy one more battery, I can have two charging at the same time, while using the vacuum.
Features. It charges batteries sequentially, so that you can access a fully charged battery faster. It has LED lights to indicate charging status. The charger also manages temperature to maximize the life of the batteries.
Things I like:
- LEDs to indicate charging
- Sequential charging
- Included wall mount
- Lays down flat nicely on a table
- Great cord management makes it look very presentable (see pictures)
Things I dislike:
- Nothing to note.
Overall, this is a very nice addition if you use ONEPWR batteries. I do recommend it!

A must if you have multi batteries & ONEPWR items

The dual charger is a good way to keep multiple batteries ready to go and organized. It does charge them a bit faster but only one at a time even if you have 2 batteries in it. I ran my Hoover Blade until the LED was flashing Red and put it on the charger. In about an hour it was ready to go. I timed it. If you operate it until dead and it takes a bit longer. Some reviewers have reported longer recharge times so your mileage may vary. If you already have the single charger and, say, 4 batteries then you are set pretty good. That is 3 in chargers and one in you ONEPWR device. Note that the dual charger does not come with any batteries. Also note that you can buy 3 types of batteries of 2, 3 and 4 amp hour capacities.
The single charger is table top only. This charger can be either but looks like it was made to be primarily wall mounted. It lays flat if not wall mounted. You need to pop the center cover off with a flat head screwdriver to access the screw holes. See photos. It has a place in the back the wind up excess wire to hide it. Hareware is included.

It completes the Hoover I have

While I think Hoover should include this in all the ONEPWR vacuum cleaners, this battery charger might come very handy. I have the ONEPWR Blade + that is coming with 2 batteries. It has a battery charger included but it charges/stores only one battery. This charger is capable of charging 2 batteries and store them ready to be used. Now the down side (disappointment): I thought this charger would charge 2 batteries at the same time but it doesn't... It charges the batteries in the order they are placed on it. First battery placed will charge first until full and then it will start charging the second one... Maybe it is a safe way...
It is also coming ready to be installed on the wall (beside the Hoover vacuum cleaner) and together will make a good ready to go kit.
I'd recommend it if you have more than one battery and sure if you are planning on having at least 3 batteries. I'll order the third one so I have one installed in the Blade+ and 2 on the charger to swap when needed.

Mount it and forget it. No need to drag out and plug in separate chargers. Keeps 2 batteries charged and ready all the time. Keep in mind the charger only charges one battery at a time until fully charged and then switches automatically to the next battery and fully charges it so you have 2 batteries handy all the time. I mounted the charger on a cabinet in storage room. Makes it more convenient to access and use batteries. My go to charger for ONEPWR products very satisfied.

This battery charger is a very helpful addition to the Hoover cordless vac I am SO GRATEFUL for. The main thing about it, is that it charges one battery solely before charging the other, so I can use one quicker and when it's ready, I take it off to use, and the 2nd battery charges while I vacuum. Totally recommend it!!

Not a lot to be said for a charger. Yet, if you are buying into the new ONEPWR set of tools. It's definitely a good addition to the system. Not only can it sit on a counter to charge up a couple batteries. It has a built in cord wrap if you choose to mount to a wall close to a electrical outlet. Which helps make for a tidy no dangling cord install.
While this is a really good product to charge your batteries. I knocked a star off for it not being able to charge both batteries at the same time. It will charge the first battery up to full then charge the second battery, if installed. Good news is that it doesn't matter which side you use. First in (either side) first done. And while I didn't time it exactly. The 3.0 batteries take about 2 hours for a full charge. So, not sure why 3X speed is on the charger? [Maybe its 3X faster than the single base model charger.]
Definitely get this charger to keep your ONEPWR tools running. We all know battery powered tools don't last long when you put them to work. And this dual charger keeps things running a bit longer by having a fresh battery ready to go.

Convenient, Sequential Charging is bad and good
|

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Pros:
- Makes it convenient to house 2 batteries
- Has protections to keep batteries from overheating
- Can be mounted on the wall so it won't take up counter space
- Charges Sequentially, so if you put 2 dead batteries into it, it'll only charge one until it's full before charging the 2nd one. This way you'll at least get more use out of 1 battery with a short charge.
Cons:
- Charges Sequentially. More a Pro than a Con, but makes you question why even buy this dual bay charger if you already have the standard single charging base since it only actually charges one battery at a time.
- It didn't really charge the batteries much faster than the standard charger that would come with the appliance
So really what you get with this charger is convenience. But I can't say that the convenience is worth the price.

currently have this for my hoover ONEPWR cordless vacuum, the ability to have another charging station for the vacuum helps me get my job done a lot faster
PROS
- 2 charging station for hoover products
- prioritize the first battery to charge on charging bay
- comes will wall mounting screws to place it wherever you like
CONS
- battery takes about 2.5 hrs to charge from zero to full
- battery seems to drain a little bit if you leave ii plugged in on charging bay.
don’t be thrown off on negative things about the charger, having this help me a lot on cleaning day for the house, while i’m cleaning I have another battery ready for use, it helps me not delay on the work that i’m doing. overall thumbs up to this product, great accessories to add.

Crippled functionality hold Blade+ back

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
First off, I really LOVE this Hoover Blade+ cordless stick vacuum. The dual charger could really make this unit stand above the rest and be a top-notch winner, but I find it crippled in a couple major ways preventing it from achieving it’s potential.
The Turbo Charge 3x I was hoping was fast so by the time one battery empties, the other is ready to go.
Unfortunately that is not the case. The included 3.0 amp batteries are exhausted near the 20 minute mark, and take a couple hours to fully charge.
I was unable to sense a significant difference in the 3x charge speed from the dual accessory charger, while waiting to complete my cleaning. Instead of taking near an hour total, I had to plan triple that amount, with activities and other chores in between letting the batteries charge.
If I had 3 or 4 batteries, or if they charged faster, then this might resolve the current issue I have, and the ONLY reason I deducted a star from the cordless stick vacuum itself.
PROS
———
+ wall mount kit
+ “holds” two batteries
+ a couple LED status lights
CONS
———
-does NOT charge both simultaneously
-does NOT charge as fast as hoped, seemed the same as standard single charger

Dual battery charger

This charger works with the ONEPWR batteries that come with Hoover ONEPWR devices. They have multiple devices, and different batteries, although I've only tried one. I have the 3.0 Ah lithium batteries. This charger charges two batteries side by side, with indicator lights in the front to show status of batteries. It charges up quickly. I didn't time it, but it says it charges in three and a half hours or less. I would like to mention that it will charge the first battery fully before charging the second, which is a great feature. I can always have a spare battery charged up, and can then recharge them both again when I'm done. Or just charge one battery if that's all I need to.
It comes with the charger, power cord, and a user guide. It does not include the batteries, which come with the main device or can be purchased separately. This can be mounted on the wall for convenience, and has a cord of decent length. If you have any of the compatible devices, this is a great accessory to have with it.

We have multiple ONEPWR devices and this charger makes it very handy to have a spare battery ready in the wings.
The drawback is the charger only charges one battery at a time, but that is tolerable as it automatically switches to charging the second battery when finished with the first.
The unit comes with screws to mount easily to the wall, if desired, and has indicators to let you know the progress of each battery charging.
The charger is a great add to your home if you have multiple ONEPWR devices and want to conveniently have a second battery charged.

If you have a Hoover ONEPWR device with more than one battery, or a couple of tools from the ONEPWR series, this is a good investment for keeping charged batteries on hand,
While it holds two batteries, it does not charge them at the same time. It charges one then the other. At first I couldn't figure out why the second battery wasn't charging before I realized it was by design. That's fine, as I can't imagine a situation where I would need both batteries to charge up as soon as possible,
Normally you would set something like this up somewhere out of sight, like a laundry room. Mine doesn't have a spare outlet, so my charger is in the living room, near the litter box that we constantly have to vacuum around. Fortunately the batteries and charger have a modern look to them. They look like something Apple would design, so the charger and batteries look fine on an end table in the corner. There is also an option to wall-mount the charger if you have an outlet nearby.
Charging status is shown with LED lights. I would prefer something like a numeric display or bar graph, but how often am I really going to check on the charging status of my vacuum's batteries?

Efficient Requirement for ONEPWR Systems
|
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The dual-bay charger for the ONEPWR system is probably a necessity if you have multiple ONEPWR devices... but even just for the Blade+ vacuum, it's helpful so you can continuously use your vacuum for big cleaning days. Otherwise, you'll have to take a break in between charges.
The sequential charging is interesting - I get that this probably lengthens the lifespan of your batteries and reduces power consumption. It's not optimal if you're using multiple devices at once and need things to be ready on demand - but chances are this would be a rare scenario and having just ONE unified charger is a space-saver.
I also appreciate the mounting hardware that comes with this, but closets don't often come with outlets and utility rooms tend to have power for appliances only - and it's probably not optimal for battery health to store and charge batteries in a garage that isn't temperature controlled... but it's good to have the option at least.

A superior dual Lithium-ion battery charger

The Hoover ONEPWR dual battery charger is light weight and designed to charge 2 batteries in a manner that provides a fully charged battery in the shortest period possible. Whenever 2 batteries are placed on the charger, it measures the amount of charge needed by both to reach full charge, and provides the charge to the battery that will reach full charge first. This feature guarantees a fully charged battery in the shortest possible time. The charger has dual status lights so that the state of each battery is always visible via the lights. The charger may be placed on any flat surface, or may be placed on a wall mount fitting and not take up counter or shelf space. The Hoover ONEPWR system devices and battery interchangeability are convenient and outstanding performers. This dual Battery Charger greatly increases the likelihood that there will always be a fully charged battery awaiting all system devices, or that the wait time to have a fully charged battery will be the shortest wait possible.
