Don't buy the Hoover Quest 1000
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I called for assistance on how to connect my brand new Hoover Quest 1000 to the Hoover wifi app (wasn't connecting) and how to get it to stop beeping with the E08 error message (that isn't included in the troubleshooting menu). The very friendly customer service rep gave the error code to her supervisor and said the unit needed to be returned and replaced. The important message to note is she stated it would not be replaced with another Quest 1000 because this unit is causing Hoover lots of issues. Now because I admittedly misplaced my receipt, those issues are mine. No regard for the purchase of an expensive vacuum. Why is this vacuum still available for sale in Canada? Now I need to decide if I tolerate the beeping (or turn it off, not using the schedule function) and I need to go without the wifi capability which is why I chose this vacuum or do I spend whatever it costs to ship it back to Hoover for a different vacuum? This is what I call a terrible product and terrible customer service. Disappointed.
