good deal and worth the money. saw this in consumer reports and right on the review.

I have had this vacuum for a little longer than a month and then I returned it to the store. I would be vacuuming and the belt would slip off and the canister would fall off alot. The vacuum had good suction and did a nice job of picking up the dirt.

Great buy for the price! Easy to use, empty and very light.

The price was great, but we've had continuous problems with overheating. We thought something was wrong with the first model we bought so we took it back and exchanged it, but the 2nd vacuum also overheats. We live in a small townhouse and when I vacuum the living room area using it as an upright, then switch to the hose, it overheats and shuts itself off. I can't even finish vacuuming one room! All the filters are clean, the belt is fine, the hose is clear- it started doing this from the first use.

This is the first vacuum I have even bought and it is simply amazing. As a matter of fact I'm going to go dump a cup of dirt on my carpet just to use it.

havent had alot of experience with vacuums but it gets the job done. i have 2 dogs and it really picks up all the hair and you can see the difference.

I do not recommend this product for anyone..... I'm on my second 1 and having the same problem with the belt. It either falls off or breaks...... I have a warranty but they say that they can give me the same 1 I don't even want the same 1 any more I just rather get a different one and take my chances..... I hope they don't give me any problems when I ask them for a different one!!! I think they should take this vacuum off the market considering people keep having this same problem.....im amazed that they are still selling it!!!

Had it for 20 days. Belt broke. Motor got hot everytime it was turned on. I know it's only $140, but it's not any better than a good dustbuster. Very cheap plastic parts. Had a Simplicity for 20 years. Used daily and belt just broke last month. Can't get parts for it. Brought the Hoover back to Best Buy, paid 10 bucks more for a Bissell, which I'll try, but will invest in another Simplicity, if I can find one. Check out how cheaply Hoover's are made before you buy one. Nothing but junk

We had a Eureka previously, and thought this might be a step up. Definitely was not impressed. Suction was weaker and the cord was extremely short. Returned it the next day and bought another Eureka.

I am really pleased with this vacuum. It has a lot of power and does a great job on rugs and hardwood floors.

I bought this vacuum in December and it's already dead. The vacuum looks great and picks up dirt nicely but the cord rewind is already broken. The belt also falls off the brush and motor at least once you vacuum something heavy. I wouldn't recommend this vacuum if you hate dealing with belt problems.

I have purchased this vaccum less than a year ago and it was vaccuming very well since I have a german shepard and now all of a sudden its not picking up at all. I can vaccum by using the hose only. I can't figure out what is wrong with it. I have had many vaccums but never one that didn't make through a year or more. I aslo hate that the tool too reach high places doesn't hardly extend.

I had to return two vacuums to the store in less than one month. Both got the belts broken. Quality is not good

I bought this vacuum because it had a HEPA filter and was bagless. What more can a person ask for in vacuum? And while it had all the attachments and features, there were problems with the roller on the main suction unit. If there was some length of string coming out of the carpet or a tissue on the rug, the vacuum would make an attempt to suck it up - but it would throw the roller off the belt. Although it's easy to put it back on the belt, it's a pain to do it every time it happens (which is often). I thought my model was defective and returned it, but it happened on the replacement model i got too. Great in concept, but it's designed as junk.

This vacuum is terrible. I bought one and the belt snapped after a couple of months. I got another one, and it literally broke after 10 minutes. This vacuum is an absolute piece of garbage. I will never buy another Hoover again.

After owning a Dyson for 7 yrs we purchased this vacuum as a lower cost alternative that promised similar results. Well you get what you pay for, we found that, as promised, it did not lose suction but it's not hard to lose something you don’t really have. Also after 5 uses it became louder and sounded like it was on its last leg. We decided we would rather use the shop vac it the old Dyson attachments than this vacuum. We returned to the store and decided to use the shop vac until we could set aside the $ to get another Dyson. Fortunately the wait was short and we got it as a Christmas gift and all in good.

The vacuum was easy to assemble and worked fine for about a month, but the brush broke and made it useless. The warranty doesn't cover brush breakdowns, so I essentially wasted my money on this vacuum. I do not recommend.

I have had 2 of these in the last 2 years. Now this one has stopped working as well. It looses suction after a couple of months, the hose attachment does not work well at all , and the accessories keep coming off the vacuum. It gets clogged easily and its difficult to get up into the hose to pull the stuff out. I will be getting my money back on the warranty this time instead of another vacuum.
