I've used this about a month now, and I think it is a great vacuum at a great price! It works well on bare floors, and is wonderful at picking up pet hair from carpet. I've only used the crevice tool, but I'm impressed with that as well. I think a little noisier than the Dyson I replaced, but at less than a quarter of the price, who cares about that? Assembly was quick -- literally one screw. Within five minutes of opening the box, I was vacuuming my floor. Also love the auto rewind cord (the cord has a yellow and red mark for when it is approaching and has reached it's maximum length. You'll do well to mind these marks -- I've inadvertendly damaged the autorewinds on my irons this way in the past).

This Hoover Vacuum Cleaner which seems lighter than my last Hoover does a great job on carpet and bare floors. Does not kill your back while vacuum the floors. If only it would come in a different color!

Picked up this vacuum for $99 on sale so it was a steal. #2 rated vacuum cleaner in a major consumer reviews publication. It's a very powerful unit which I found to be very lightweight and adaptable to any floor surface. Only complaints I have (and they are very minor) is that all of the flimsy plastic makes it feel very cheapo and the cord could stand to be a little longer. Excellent overall!

Got this on clearance couldn't pass it up. Read all the reviews and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did, nice machine does a great job on carpets and very easy to clean.

Cleans both carpet and floor thoroughly. Dust and dirt removed from carpet never before seen in previous cleaners. Not to mention the price - more than fair. On the downside, filter dries very slowly so try cleaning without water.

Excellent vacuum for the price. We have two rescues ane they generate a lot of dog hair. This hoover does an excellent job. Just make sure you have the brushes set at the proper level; not too low.

I wanted a simple, easy-to-use vaccum with a cord reel and bagless canister. It has all that and wonderful suction for a great price.

It's good, sucks up a lot of dirt. We have lots of animals and it really does a good job. It was disgusting how much dirt came up after the first time I used it. The filter is really easy to clean too. Great value for the price.

This vacuum is light and easy to handle. It cleans well. My one problem with it is that fiber from the landlord's inexpensive carpeting gets stuck in places and has to be pulled out using a long afghan hook.

Wow, I wasn't expecting this vacuum to clean this well. I have a whole house system in my current house and bought this because we are moving to a house that doesn't. Just as a test, I used this prodict after vacuuming with the whole house system. I was shocked at how much stuff this hoover picked up in just one room. I now question how good my whole house system really is.

Needed a vacuum for carpet and this one works just fine but I go back to my canister vacuum rather than using the hose with this one because it is always running the brush.

I was looking to by a shark or Dyson but decided to save some money. Bought this and glad I did! Work amazing! With 3 dogs I use this vacume everyday! And it really gets the job done! I just hope it stays that way!

If you're looking for a cheap vacuum with good suction. This vac will do the job. We've had our for two months and are very satisfied with it.

Someone drop something on the carpet at your fancy dress party? Bust this bad boy out and impressed all of your guests. It's really cool how you can see it suck the stuff up inside. Retractable cord makes for a great party trick. Ladies love a guy who knows how to clean.
