I have to use this vac with my walker. Although it is heavier than the lightweights, this is much easier because the weight hugs the floor and helps stabilize me. And the retracting cord is a real delight. So glad I bought this! The suction is amazing. Never had any vac of any brand or type which made my carpets look this great. My husband, who is stuck with emptying the dirt container, says that it is hard to clean because gunk gets sucked up and stuck into the top of the cup. I'm hoping it's because my carpets are new and the installers left lots of loose chunks.

I bought this vacuum based on the overall positive review of others who purchased this model. I wasn't disappointed. This machine is a workhorse. Couldn't believe how much dust and dirt it sucked up from the carpets. Also nice that it is lightweight and fairly quiet. One slight complaint, but sure it won't be a problem: The handle feels a bit flimsy between the top half and lower half, but only notice it flex out of alignment when turning the vacuum at sharp angles. Otherwise, glad I got this vacuum and would recommend it to others.

We found out today that our bissell vacuum hadn't been working for a long time. We went to best buy and found this one on sale. Just vacuumed the entire house and couldn't believe how much dirt it picked up. Works great! Very light and easy to clean. Would highly recommend.

I bought this for my mom to replace her really outdated stick-vac. She has a small apartment, so her demands aren't great. Found this on sale for $99. The suction is adequate. The on-board tools are okay, but tend to come off. Removing the hose to use the tools can be tricky to reattach. The auto cord rewind is great. Overall, a good vacuum for the money, but I still love my Dyson at home.

When I first bought the vacuum about a year ago, it worked awesome. I know that many people write a review when they either LOVE the product or they HATE it. People also tend to write a review right after they buy it or when something goes wrong. I have had this vacuum for a while and I don't HATE or LOVE it. So to the inbetweeners, here ya go. I loved the retractable cord (which still works by the way). I still love the vacuum, but there were just a few minor glitches that should be fixed. I have a chinchilla which doesn't shed, but eats hay and other pellets. This vacuum is good enough to clean up the straw and some fur that it picks up, but I wouldn't recommend sucking up a lot of that with the hose. It will get stuck. Also, the brushes at the base of the vacuum tend to fall out with the belt. I can put it back in fine, but it's just kind of annoying. For those of you on the edge, it's a good vacuum if you don't overuse it.

Love this vacuum! It has powerful suction, enough to lift my throw rugs up! I need a vacuum that picks up my lab's dog hair and it works great, much better than my Eureka that died. Like the long cord. It is a bit loud but I trade that for the suction power. I wish the switch from 'wood' to 'carpet' was on the neck and not on the bottom of the machine (and the switch is plastic and looks/feels cheap, as does the plastic on/off switch). But other than that, I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

I own a small dog. However, my main reason to go with this vacuum cleaner was its price. It gets the job done. Since the product is brand new, the suction power and everything is good so far. I'm not sure how long it can give me the same amount of power since most of the vacuum cleaners tend to get weaker after a few months. A few other things that I really like about this vacuum cleaner is its washable filters and retractable cords. The button to retract the cords is big enough for you to just step on it so you don;t have to bend down.

Just got this vacuum so don't know about durabillity, but it has all the nice features of my old Hoover (retractable cord, bagless, brush tool) but is much lighter. I love that you can access the brush roll without removing 7 screws like I had to do with my old one. We have 7 people and 3 pets so there is always hair wrapped around the brush roll, and this one you just open two latches and can clean it out. I also like that the furniture gaurd is clear. Our last Hoover had a blue furniture guard and it left blue streaks all over my white baseboards. Also, they have printed instructions on the outside of the vacuum for how to operate it which will help people in my house who have not read the instruction manual! This vacuum fixes all the gripes I had about my old one. Now if it lasts a long time, that will be a miracle!

One of the best vaccuums we have owned. It is extremely powerful, easy glide, not to heavy to haul around. One of the disadvantages is the belt has a tendency to pop off about every other time we use it. Its easy to put on just a pain. I

Just returned my Bissell and bought this Hoover and it blows the Bissell out of the water. It's lighter to carry and the features on it are great. It also picks up the dirt really well. I'll stick with Hoover from now on

I bought this on sell for $119 about a month ago and I'm very pleased with it. It's very easy to use and quite powerful for the price. The only problems I have with it is the fact the cord feels short to me and the canister fills fast so I have to keep emptying it frequently. I felt it was a great buy, I only vacuum once a week so I don't know how it would hold up to more frequent use but I'm very happy.

For the price, this vacuum is amazing! Our old vacuum stopped working and we went out to replace it. Consumer Reports said this was a good one, so I got it. I came back and was shocked at the amount of dirt and material it was able to pull up where I had just finished before. My favorite feature is the retractible cord. Second to the that is the beater bar Not as long as I was used to, but I'll adjust. The only negative I have on this vacuum is one I read about, but didn't really think of the impact before purchasing. You can't turn off the beater bar on this. So, when you are vacuuming out the car, it stays on. Also, not thinking this would be good to put over the wood floors. But, for the price it was still worth the keep for us. I'm happy!

I LOVE this vacuum ! It is a winner on all counts. Light enough for anyone to handle ( seniors and children would have no problem). I have boys who are constantly making messes and a dog that sheds like crazy and the vac did an outstanding job picking up after them. The tools are right on board and are easy to use. The attachment for funiture got all the pet hair off my couch! There are no bags to buy and the filter is built in and WASHABLE! My last vac was very expensive and didn't do nearly the job that this one does. OUTSTANDING PRODUCT! OUTSTANDING VALUE!

Totally worth the money! I have three cats and this vacuum picks up ALL the hair and dust and dirt in my home. The attachments are easy to use and navigate, and they actually work! Great suction/power. I've had other vacuums where nothing seemed to work, but this one's a keeper! Although I wish the attachment hose was longer, even with the extending attachment it's a bit hard to reach everything I want to with ease (ie back of couch, blinds) This is the best vacuum I've ever owned! Easy to empty and reattach the bagless collection container, adjustabe floor/carpet heights to navigate between bare floors and carpeted areas. Automatic power cord rewind is my favorite feature...I am very pleased!

Like I said before. Its light,powerful for the price which was right, easy to use, and the attachments. recommend to anyone and in that price range its the only one rated 4 and a half stars.

This sweeper replaces a Dyson Animal purchased approximately 6.5 years ago. The Hoover makes more noise it's power cord is at least 3 foot shorter. However, I really like its performance and ease of switching to just the hose with attachments...MUCH better than the Dyson!

I bought this vacuum a week ago, and I lOVE it!! My old vacuum was on it's last leg and I really wanted a new one with the power brush. I have a dog and cat that sheds ALOT!! The Power brush has de-furred(is that a word?) my furniture, I have large area rugs and hardwood floors and it cleans them both without scattering dirt or hair everywhere.I went from rug to floor without changing the settings. Love the easy empty cannister, the seal gets a little dusty, but no biggie I just wipe it off and close it back up. Best vacuum for the money, also spent the $20.00 for the four year warranty.

I purchased this vacuum a couple of weeks ago and I am very impressed so far. I ran over my rug a few times and was amazed at how much junk came up. I was looking at a different hoover vacuum that was $300. I didn't really want to spend that much and was shown this model. At $116 it was a steal. I like that all the attatchments are on board and the retractable cord is awesome. The handheld brush also has a nice brush roll which is a plus. The canister is easy to empty as well. It's a bottom empty like the Dyson's. So far it's the best vacuum I've ever used.

Bought this little guy 'cause my last one died after six years of service. Didn't want to spend a lot of money and decided on this one after looking at other models, The obvious features that I love are the HEPA filter and retracting power cord. Some people have said that the power cord is a little short and I can agree, but a simply extension cord and everything is fine. I love how quite it is compared to my last one and the bag less containers. Definitively, would (so far) recommend this to someone else.

Great value for the price. Its light but has a BIG canister and does an excellent job. I'll never be able to live without a retractible cord again!
