I purchased this vacuum when my previous vacuum broke. I am sorry to stay that I am kind of glad my previous vacuum broke. Buy one, vacuum with it, and this vacuum will pull things out of what you thought was clean carpet... it is amazing and I love it! This is the best vacuum I have owned to date. I am thrilled with the performance, my carpets feel so clean and rejuvenated. I have a black lab who sheds and this vacuum handles it all. It is kind of fun to see how much dirt and hair is in the canister - I am always amazed even when vacuuming every couple of days that there is so much in there! It shows me just how well it is working. I have had mine for about two months now and have had no complaints.

I have had this vacuum for about 3 years now. I had this little red hoover vacuum that was a piece of junk and tore up within a year. I bought this one due to the price and even though a bad experience before, I have always trusted Hoover. The good thing about this vacuum is that it is great on pet hair and crumbs and has good attachments. You never have to replace the filters and they are really easy to clean, all you do is rinse them off. The only downfall with this is that if you are vacuuming a lot at one time, the cord seems to get warm and after a while if you rough the cord, meaning, don't lay it out where it can easily rewind and get in a rush with it, the cord's rubber will start to wear. It also doesn't come with a light so sometimes you can't see what you are vacuuming. The attachments are easy to use. I did have quite a few incidents of heavy clogs but they were spotted by watching the air flow indicator going to red from green. The clogs were not that difficult to remove once you knew how the hose and assembly are about. All in all, I have had it for 3 years and now going to get another vacuum due to the fact that my kids have took off the corner attachments and such and lost them!!!! I am keeping this one as a back up though definitely!

Well I ordered on the website and picked up at the store. That went well. When I got it home I took it out the box and put it together, there is very little assembly required just a few things clicked together and 1 screw and it was all ready to go. But when I turned it on for the first time all i hear was a screetch and the smell of hot or burning rubber. Turns out the factory has installed the band and the brushes incorrectly so when I turned it on boom. I put the band and the brushes back in correctly and it seemed to work just fine but a few plastic pieces had broke off so I took it back and got a new vacuum. This one is perfect working order. This vacuum is very powerfull and doesn't miss anything on the carpet. It cleans dirt I didn't even see but I can hear it when it picks stuff up. This vacuum is also fairly quiet, I have 2 other vacuum and they are MUCH louder than this one. I bought this model because consumer reports said it was the best and it really has delivered on that.

I bought this vacuum about a month ago and am very satisfied with its performance. It is light but has a strong suction. I tried vacuuming up dirt from the floor and it sucked everything up. It is smaller than my previous vacuum, so I am able to get into small spaces easier.

Bought in February when priced dropped to $99 which is a fairly good price. It performs much better than my previous Hoover, is quieter and lighter. I purchased the Geek 2 year warranty when I was told I could replace it even if the belt snapped. Based on my previous Hoover I knew it was a matter of time but did not expect it to happen within 2 months. So today I had to swap it out for a new Hoover. BBuy does not even stock these belts so I got a brand new one instead. I purchased a few belts on ebay because its going to be a matter of time before I have to replace the belts. Apart from this, I really like this model. Hose is incredibly short making cleaning carpet steps a pain. I like the easy rollup electric cable and easy removal of the canister.

I was using a shark broom stick on my condo in miami beach. Mostly wood floor and throw carpets. This vacuum pulled 3 full loads off of the carpet and the power wand is really driven hard by the suction. I am very glad that I didn't buy a less expensive dirtt devil or something in that range. I also noticed no dust being blown from the vacuum and the retracting cord is great. This also has a two year warranty.

I love my Hoover! It has great suction and is easy to empty. Plus the cord rewinds!

I recently moved with my two Golden Retrievers to a place with a carpet. YIKES! I was so worried the house would smell like a old fur ball in no time. We rushed out and bought this vac based on other online reviews and we were not disappointed!! We pick up a 1/2 canister of fur every day along with more dust than I care to admit. The canister is easy to empty without a lot of mess and the cord is long so only have to move the plug one time in the process. It's been a month now and no issues so far.

Our old Hoover died after more than ten years, and we wanted another Hoover. The T-Series was given good ratings, and the price was reasonable. We have two dogs and a cat, and when I first used the vacuum, I couldn't believe how quickly it filled up. Obviously, our old vacuum wasn't doing the job. This one is easy to maneuver, and it does a great job of picking up the animal hair; however, the cord is much shorter than the old vacuum, and that makes vacuuming a little more challenging.

Okay, so I first found this vacuum on consumer reports giving it a "recommended" status. I found it today at Best Buy on sale for $99 ($30 under list price). I had read some negative comments before but I don't see it. I brought it home used it for an hour and a half ... and love it! This is the best vacuum cleaner I've ever purchased - great suction, picks up all the dust bunnies, my wife will be happy when she gives it a go!

After reading the reviews and checking Consumer Reports I took the plunge and bought this vacuum. Delighted with the preformance. I like the weight, as a senior that was a concern. Has excellent powerful cleaning and enjoy not messing with bags. Easy to operate. The retractable cord is low and could be a pain but I lift it up and twist around the handle, problem solved. Like having all the tools right there when you need them. I used a canister for years and this is much easier to operate

Best vacuum I ever owned. Worth way more than it sells for. Never had a vacuum pick up so well. The self winding cord, self contained attachements, and other features are great, but what is really great is the way it picks up cat hair. Has much more suction than any other vacuums I have used or had in the past.

We had an aged Dirt Devil on which the motor had died, and with a small child in the crawling stage, we were keen to replace it quickly and with a quality product. My wife and I were shocked by the suction power of this little monster. It's great to be able to see the dirt in the clear canister, and boy, there was a lot of dirt that this puppy picked up that apparently was left behind by the dirt devil. In general, we found the design to be quite thoughtful -- see-through canister, cord rewind, washable HEPA filter, convenient extra handle for vacuuming the stairs. The vacuum is a bit heavy and not quite as agile as some of the more expensive competitors -- but as we are talking about a 3-4x price difference (!!), it's easy to forgive. At $100 that we paid on sale, it's nothing short of a steal. The past model, based on reviews I read, seems to have suffered from a loss of suction power over time. We've had ours for about 3 mo now, and so far it's been great despite frequent usage. Hoping this one lasts us a while..

Worked wonderfully for a few times, then a sucked-up string made the agitator roll belt come off. After reinstalling the belt, it broke almost immediately. Other very recent reviews by buyers stated that their belts also broke. So, I exchanged this vac for the higher-price Hoover T-4 (pet) model which has a different belt and belt system (haven't used it yet). Again, if the pretty sage green vac had a better belt system, I think it would be a great buy. Note: the owner's manual didn't show the belt guard mine had. I'm guessing that the guard was added after people complained about the belt coming off, but now results in early belt breakage (maybe because you have to stretch the heck out of the belt to get it on through the guard).

I replaced a Shark Navigator with this Hoover model. The Shark was lightweight and had a suction only mode for smooth or delicate floors. This model is heavier and does not have the suction only mode. Since the Hoover has an adjustable height dial, the carpets are being cleaned better and deeper. Being heavier, it is not quite as maneuverable as was the Shark. Overall, it was less expensive than the Shark and deep cleans better. I would recommend this product to others!

This is our first bagless vacuum. We were looking at the expensive units (Dyson) thinking the higher price equated to better quality. After checking Consumer Reports and saw this vacuum was ranked #2 (missing #1 by a fraction of a point), we chose to purchase this unit because of the incredibly low price. Even though our carpet was fairly new and looked clean, it was unbelievable how much this unit picked up including sand and fine dust particles. We have three indoor cats and four large dogs that come through occasionally and the unit does an outstanding job of picking up all the pet hair. The only downside is the powered attachment is powered by air flow rather than electrical and because of that it will stop spinning if pressure is applied to the item being cleaned.

We are very happy with this vacuum. A very good value for the price. We vacuumed after using our expensive Oreck and it picked up a bunch additional dirt. No more over priced vacuums for us.

The price is really affordable especially around Christmas. I really needed a vacuum and this was a joy to get for Christmas. I love the easy push button cord release and rewind, no cords hanging loose. Easy to empty and clean.

I've really nothing too much to say about this product. It gets the job done, I like the automatic retracting cord, and it's quite powerful. All I know is it's working better than the one it replaced! I'd recommend it.

This is the 1st vacuum I have owned that was truly user friendly. All of the components are easily cleanable. I use it on wood floors and it doesn't kick back dirt from the floor. Always picks up everything.
