This is a comfortable controller, better suited for a kid. I bought this controller with the purpose of giving it to my 4 year old daughter, so she may feel more comfortable using it to play PS4 games with me, rather than the bigger, bulkier (thought intended for grown ups) PlayStation controller. It serves it's purpose, but it's definitely not without some flaws that only I, not my daughter, can notice. The buttons, although responsive, feel odd and cheap to me in comparison with the PlayStation controller that came with the system. This does not seem to matter, or even be noticeable to my daughter. So, it might just be me that feels this way. All in all, it serves it's purpose and the little person that it was intended for seems to be happy with it.

Bought this for niece (5) and nephew (7). Niece loved it while my nephew prefers the regular Dual Shock 4. My nephew has been playing video games for several years (three I believe) and thus is already used to big controllers. My niece just got into video games and has always had trouble with big controller. She loves the Joy Cons from the Switch, they are very small, so I had a feeling she'd like this controller. The controller is obviously lighter than a DS4 but doesn't feel cheap. All the buttons have a good clicking feel. The sticks are completely plastic (no rubbery top) but I doubt little ones will have issues with it.

I have three children and all of them are younger (5-9). The youngest loves to play but the problem is the dualshock 4 controller is too big for his tiny hands. This controller is perfect. He doesn't have to manipulate the controller or his hands as much and its prefect form is ergonomic for him to play. Reminiscent of NES controllers of the past.

Bought for my 6yo son who wants to play (child friendly) games with me. The normal controllers are too big for him to hit some button combinations. This fits his hands much better and has nearly all of the functions the stock ones feature. It is corded and may be too short for some instances.

Good controller overall, but it really is intented for small hands. Stick placement is a bit awkward for anyone else. The fact that the controller is not wireless is also a downer. Otherwise works well and seems well put together.

Purchased this for my son because I was a bit afraid he might drop my normal DS4 controllers when playing one of his games. It's worked well for him (even though he isn't so much a console gamer anymore, *Raises fist in anger at iPad*). We don't get much use out of it these days, but if you have a little one interested in gaming, then is worth the investment. Pros: - Relatively inexpensive compared to DS4 (I think I purchased it for less than $20 at the time - Good build quality - Long wire, so no batteries or recharging necessary - Licensed by Son - Hori is a decent aftermarket brand Cons: - For child size hands or people in general with smaller hands

Got this for my wife who has small hands and she loves it.

I've been eyeing this for a few months and just picked it up. It is perfect size for little dudes and dudettes. There a couple features that are missing compared to a DS4 though.

Works as expected for price, it is little as pictured but still serves same purpose. Didn't want to spend the money on a higher dollar controller for my toddler.

... Who thinks that modern controllers are too bulky, struggles to press all the buttons available to them, or (like me) always accidentally swipes the touch pad at random. With this controller all those worries go out the window. Overall this controller feels durable and ergonomic. Everything I could want in a controller. It is wired and that is either a plus or negative for some people but overall a good tool if you're ever in a pinch or need an extra controller for your favorite little guy or gal

Bought this controller for my 7 year old whose hands were a bit too small to handle the bigger dual shock. Works perfectly and very sturdy.

My kids aged 6, 5, 4 love these controllers. They used to want to play racing games and LEGO games with me but found the buttons difficult to use because of the design of the standard controller. These helped a ton, especially with the games that require the use of the triggers and bumpers. I got a cheap USB hub and was able to connect all three of their controllers through the hub and only take up one USB port on my PS4.

Overall this is a good option for a 4 year old. However, executives need to pay attention to the young generation. It’s not just boys playing games. Wish they had a pink or gray version when I purchased. I am not going to buy another one if/when they do. But think about both boys and girls when partnering with manufacturers. You can make a buck load of money if you have options for both.

Some people do not like the dual shock 4 controllers feel. This wired kids controller is a great alternative even for adults that want to try something a bit more simple and smaller. When it was on sale recently I picked it up and at the 20 dollar price point its a no brainer. Being made by Hori you know it has quality parts because they are a top tier 3rd party company.

My six-year-old son loves this controller he feels special because he has his own special controller in this controllers really awesome for kids, the cord is plenty long to keep them in The appropriate range of the television and I would recommend this to anybody with a smaller kids who like playing the bigger games

I bought this mini controller so my 6yr old could play Minecraft and have been very happy. Her hands were too small for the regular PS4 controller and she can now reach all the buttons. I deducted a star because I wish the cable was longer or the controller was wireless.

I bought this controller for a backup, especially since batteries tend to go bad in the regular PS4 controllers. It is nice that this controller has a cord (don't have to worry about a battery going bad). The price seemed okay, especially when compared to the regular price of a regular PS4 controller. The downsides to this is that it is very small and may not at times feel like its giving you enough space on it. This controller seems okay if you use it for fighting games, but other than than, especially third person action/adventure games, it just doesn't feel right.

Great controller for kids, My six-year-old had a hard time using the larger controllers for her video games .I was able to use this one and she can reach around both sides. I would definitely recommend this controller for beginner gamers .

i bought this for my 4 year old daughter in hopes that she would want to game. but no go lol but she does like it. but what i could say is that i dont like that the thumb sticks arent rubber but just plastic. but its a cool controller.
