Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the design, comfort, and button placement of the Split Pad Compact Attachment Set for Nintendo Switch, citing its ergonomic design, ease of use, and improved joystick placement compared to standard controllers. However, customers are negative about the wired connection and the perceived lower quality of some components, expressing a wish for wireless functionality and improved button feel. Many appreciate the aesthetically pleasing design. The price point relative to the perceived quality was also a point of contention for some users.

I'm disappointed with these controllers. I got the Eevee design and I absolutely live it, the design and colors are beautiful and I love the clear plastic casing. Other than that, I don't like them. The sticks themselves actually feel great, much much better than the Joycons. All the buttons feel mushy and unsatisfying, though, with the exception of the Home button and the Screenshot button (in other words, the ones you rarely press). The triggers are also the mushy, unsatisfying type too. The biggest deal breaker for me is the lack of any wireless mode. The only way to use these is to have them docked to the console, or to use the cable with the included docking plate. Wanna share a controller and play with friends? Too bad. Wanna sit in the couch without being tethered by a cable? Get F'ed. Another missing feature is rumble, they don't rumble at all. I'd totally understand this if they were $30, $40, maybe $50, but they're nearly $90 before taxes. That's just a ripoff, absolutely not worth it.

Not as well made as i thought, especially for the prive range. The - button is set too shallow, plastic feels weak, BUT long cord for pluging into dock for play, and ergonomically friendly. Plus bit of a sucker for eeveelution designs.
