A must have for fans of the series. Better than zero dawn. Can easily find it on sale. Be advised this is not the first game in this series if for some reason you find yourself here, and not on horizon zero dawn.

Good game. had some bugs at launch which made it frustrating but still fun. should be patched by now. Story takes some weird turns.

I loved the first Horizon on ps4 so much I had to get this game for my ps5! It’s a must for anyones collection who has a ps5! I beat it in about a month! Not too challenging. Hoping they don’t wait 5 more years before they release another one!

This game is a great continuation (rather than merely a sequel) to the best game I played on the PlayStation 4. It features a huge open-world gameplay with a sci-fi, yet primitive, setting and a strong RPG element. Also, it had me at robot dinosaurs.

Such a fun game, I just started replaying it for the second time. The only thing I was a bit let down by was how underwhelming the ending was. I was expecting a big boss battle but didn’t really get that. Aside from that, I love the game a lot.

Simply put, if you have a PlayStation 5, you need to experience this game. Though it xan be played on the PS4 as well, the improvements the PS5 hardware provides makes this the best way to play this game!

This game is very amazing. Love everything about it. Open world and has a lot of hours of playtime. Definitely worth the buy you won’t be disappointed. If you love open world games and plenty of content in one game this is definitely for you

great game, I bought and played the heck out of the first one and loved it. My wife has already yelled at me for staying up so late and playing it great sequel to the first one. They added some great new features, and the graphics are amazing.

Game is awesome! I got it after playing Zero Dawn on my PC and couldn't wait for a port for this version because the first game was so good. Graphics are amazing. Hopefully there is forthcoming DLC.

Fun game. Some might even call it a "MASTERPIECE." The story is a bit slow to get going, but then it gets really good! I dont want to let off any spoilers. Just get the game and thank me later!

As a game, forbidden west is MUCH better than zero dawn, from visuals to gameplay elements

Horizon Zero Dawn is the first game I’ve platinum’d and Horizon Forbidden West is even more beautiful and enjoyable. This will definitely be another game I will end up playing til platinum.

This game has a fun gameplay and has great graphics...it just looks phenomenal on my gaming TV..it has interesting storylines and got me hook and have spend lots of time playing this game..

Overall this is a really solid sequel to the original HZD, which I absolutely loved. My main complaints are with the graphics/performance, and lack originality compared to the first game. With the graphics, you have a choice between “favors resolution” mode which gives you stunning 4K resolution graphics but only at 30 FPS, or “favors performance” mode that gives you 1800P checkerboard rendering but at a smooth 60FPS. The problem is that resolution mode looks great picture wise, but 30 FPS is nearly unplayable to me for some reason, as even with the max motion blurring it still is very stuttery and not very smooth. On the performance mode the smoothness issues are totally gone and the game runs great, but certain items (most noticeably hair and vegetation) look horribly low resolution and have some of the worst aliasing I have seen in a modern video game. Really I don’t like either setting, but tend to play in performance mode as smoothness typically takes priority and I just try to ignore the horribly low res vegetation and such. The other issue I have is with the story and game mechanics itself…. I guess on some level I should of expected this, but I just didn’t feel like they pushed the game forward enough. Like it feels and plays like pretty much the same game as before, but with some upgraded graphics (yet worse in some ways with the horrible aliasing like I mentioned above). They did add a few new game mechanics, but it essentially feels like just a giant expansion pack of the original. I was so blown away by the originality of the first game, but I guess this just felt like picking up where you left off in the other game rather than blowing my mind again. I am only about halfway through the game, so maybe there is still time for a few more surprises yet.

Fantastic game! Not only is the gameplay, smooth and great, but the graphics are absolutely ridiculous. If you’re looking for an entertaining game, with a good storyline, this is it.

I just finished the original before jumping into Forbidden West. You almost have to relearn the game as they added a lot of new mechanics, but I'm about 20% in and loving it.

Incredible characters with amazing voice acting and dialogue. Theyve improved so much on the combat on this game as well. More weapons, more skill trees and way more spear combos! Best game of the year thus far!!
