Open world, Alloy is kind of a meh protagonist she goes through her plight so quickly it's barely worth mentioning. Game play is reminiscent of the new tomb raider series. Has crafting, stealth killing robots. It's pretty to look at but it's a once and done game for most.

Guerilla Games is the developer behind the franchise "Killzone" for the Playstation series. Whem they announced this game a few years back at E3 it shocked the gaming world. From the showcase at E3, this game was hyped. I'm here to tell you, it exceed that hype! POINT BLANK....BUY THIS GAME! You will not regret it.

Fun gameplay with fantastic story. Kept me hooked with its open world.

It is a very strong game that has a large open world, and an interesting premise. It does not do one particular thing exceptionally well, aside from its absolutely gobsmacking visuals. But it does alot of things fairly well, and it adds up to an engaging experience. And with this complete edition, you have plenty of content for the money. It is well worth it.

An awesome open world game. Stunning graphics, great story and combat

The last game I played was AC Odyssey, which I played through to the ending but just could not bring myself to like. Horizon Zero Dawn is such a breath of fresh air! The gameplay is fun, combat requires you to actually think, and the quests have meaning. Bought on sale too. Can't wait to get back to it.

Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the best games I’ve played in years. It combines a satisfying mix of combat, stealth, exploration and platforming along with some minor RPG elements into an overall excellent package. Aloy is an easily likable protagonist and the story was compelling throughout. For twenty dollars there’s no better bargain on consoles right now.

One of the best games ever made. It's well planned and the story line is interesting and it hooks you in right from the start. Graphics are good and so is everything else. I don't want to get into the game itself as you can probably google a trailer and judge for yourself. Good game overall.

Horizon was my first game on the PS4 - the story was captivating, and the graphics were beautiful. Lots of styles that can be played for the game, whether you're a front attacker, or like to keep a long range. I personally like stealthily defeating the machines. The challenges were also a lot of fun with the other side quests available alongside the main story.

This is a great game but it is not the masterpiece that everyone claims. The start of the game did nothing to draw me into the story and I questioned myself if I really wanted to continue playing. However, as the game goes on and you start to understand what is going on I really started to love the direction the story was heading to. A strange mix of old weapons, clothing, and tribes along with all of the futuristic weapons and robots. However, towards the end of the game the story just dies down and ends, leaving you wanting more, which is surely to set up a sequel. This game, like most open world games nowadays, is filled with tons of time wasting filler. It took me around 40 hours to beat the main story and another 20-30 hours to finish the "dlc" and get almost every trophy. When really it should have took me less than half of that if it weren't for all the filler. Don't get me wrong, more content and a longer game is great, but not if a longer game is only longer because of filler content. Alot of the things you do in the game seems like direct rip offs of alot of other open world games, specifically the ubisoft titles. (Far cry, assassins creed) From climbing up machines to uncover the map to taking out fortresses. The fortresses are even set up almost identically like those games with an alarm that you can disable to prevent reinforcements from coming. The crafting system is extremely frustrating at times, trying to locate the specific machines or animals you need in order to craft certain items. You will go to where the machines/animals are suppose to spawn just for them to not spawn and you end up running back and forth looking for them for 30 minutes but then when you finally find and kill them the items they drop are random and they end up not giving you the items that you need to craft so you spend another 30 minutes finding and killing countless more until you get what you need. I'm not someone who normally looks up walkthroughs but in order to save me countless hours of trying to craft the items I wanted I had to look up videos for the best spots to farm with this game. With all that being said it is still a great game and I would highly recommend it to everyone, however it is not the perfect 10/10 masterpiece everyone claims.

HZD is one of the best open world action games of the past 2 decades. I ended up enjoying it more than BOTW, which surprised me seeing as how the game was made by the studio that brought you an endless number of Killzone FPS games. The story is fantastic, the gameplay is fun and frantic and will make you sweat, and the visuals are some of the best this generation.

Gorgeous and grand adventure. Love most everything about this game

I bought this game knowing nothing about it. Once I started playing, I could not put this game down. It is one of the greatest games I've ever played and believe me, I've played a lot of games! The story is clean, different, and easy to follow. The gameplay is fun to master with beautiful graphics. If you have a ps4, you need to buy this game!

This game is as good as people say. It’s a classic open world RPG with bows and arrows and crafting but it also has a really cool sci-fi element to the story. The cut scenes and dialogue aren’t great but the story itself is really interesting. The game has great depth without being overwhelming and the combat and inventory systems are easy to learn. Just get it!

Fun game play. If you like Assassin's Creed this is surely a game for you. The storyline is strong, interesting, easy to follow, and makes you feel like you are 'Aloy' (the main character). Gaming reviews give this at higher than a 4.5 grade. Watch YouTube vids to see it being played.

Great gameplay, original story, beautiful controls and graphics
