It's cool but you need to understand something that will make or break the purchase. The amount of force needed to launch Mario with enough speed to make the jump, while also NOT flipping, careening off the dang track, or just going wonky is a little too particular. You have to hit it hard enough to maintain speed through the loop to make the finicky jump, but not so hard as he will slam into the side of the loop (which isn't fully connected) thereby reducing his speed. Out of 20 attempts I'd say he only makes the full loop 1 or 2 times which can be frustrating to a child, and even me... a grown man. I made a little cardboard piece fit the gap he's supposed to jump which helped occasionally but truthfully, he misses the jump as much with it as without it due to the aforementioned required speed needed. This product would have done well to reduce the height of the ramp leadup to the waterfall by an inch or even more so it completes the loop more consistently, as well as a closed loop. It's cool, and I suppose I'll keep it because my near 4 year old treats it as a game and doesn't get upset if Mario "misses," he tries again but if your little ones are easily upset I cannot in good faith recommend this toy.

Actually a really well constructed hot wheels track. It's pretty sturdy and stays together pretty well. If it comes apart, it a quick secure click on. We bought a lot of the super Mario and donkey Kong cars. Some can't make the jump but we noticed if we use another toy(we have a small Bowser character) and hit the launcher with it. They can make the jump. My kids love it!

Jumps are pretty easy to make. Just try to make sure the car isnt too heavy. Love the way the car goes back into position for another jump

It was a gift to my nephew. At the end, the one that enjoyed it and got excited to assemble it was my brother. I guess it served its purpose. For my family to have fun.
