Hotel Transylvania is fun movie that will entertain young and old. If you remember the classic movie monsters from the 30's, 40's, and 50's, you will enjoy seeing them again, but all in a very comical way. The 3D version is mostly good looking with just a few very minor ghosting issues in the beginning. The 3D effects do add a pleasant depth to the viewing experience. Unlike Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, I did not nod off even once during the screaming, ha, ha!

Great Animation film for the whole family. I already own part 1. Now I have part 2. Both in Blue Ray. Great story. I love this movie.

I’ve heard about H.T. for years and it never appealed to me-even as an animated film fan. But I decided to order it online only to round off my purchasing to get free shipping (lol). I was totally taken W/H.T! What an Awesome cast and plot! Extremely enjoyable and for 5 bucks, u can’t beat it. Looking forward to seeing the sequels.

I had heard good things about this movie, but was quite sceptical. Turns out all the praise was justly given. This is a fantastic and quite funny film. Easily one of the best things Adam Sandler has done in years.

I had this movie when it first came out, loved watching it with my son, but unfortunately it got lost. Bought it again to watch with my daughter and and seeing her enjoy it made the repeat purchase totally worth it.

Bought this this week on sale for 3D blu ray for $14.99 + a $5 gift certificate- was a perfect time for it to go on sale! As a Dad who loves horror, and has since I was a kid (all while hating Disney features) I'm always seemingly waiting on my son to get older to have him enjoy some of the movies my parents allowed me to watch. Now, I'm in no rush to have my 2 1/2 year old watch Hostel with me, but I'm in no rush to watch Toy Story, either. Luckily, I married a woman who loves the kids movies of the world, so she keeps me in check, and my little guy has plenty of movies from her for now, and TONS of movies when he gets older. Hotel Transylvania was one of those kids movies that finally caught my interest (outside of Despicable Me) because of all the classic monsters in it. My wife wasn't so sure how our little guy would react without previewing it first, so I DVR'd it one day, and on a day she was at work with the two of us looking for some movie time, I popped it on, complete with commercials, and the remote ready should it give him any jolts. Occasionally, Dracula would get angry and the screen would quickly turn red, and they'd closeup on Drac's face, where he'd head jerk and snarl for a few seconds, but my son actually found it funny, turning around and saying "RAHR!" Other than that, he fell in love with Hotel Transylvania, with nothing else being even remotely scary/ indicative of the monsters being monsters. In fact, they're scared of humans, and the film is really very funny, even for adults. After watching it once, my son wanted to watch it again immediately, particularly enjoying scenes with all of the Wolfman's "puppies" and laughing at Frankenstein's legs walking up behind the Mummy for a joke. By the end of the week, he had watched it 5 times, and we saw the movie go on sale Valentine's Day, so we grabbed it for a Valentines present for him. That night, my wife finally watched it in full, and told me that in her personal collection of kids films (about 50 of them, including Cars films, Toy Story films, etc) it was one of her favorites. And it's true... My son watched it three times since he got the blu ray, and I've watched it with him 6 of those now 8 times. It really is a fun, great movie that can be enjoyed by kids and their parents... Especially if you're a Dad like me, who has a hard time finding kids movies you can truly enjoy multiple times. Besides that, this may be the first real funny movie Adam Sandler's been a part of in over a decade!

I wasn’t as impressed with this movie. I think the first one was better. My little one on the other hand loves it. She will watch it over and over until another movie catches her attention. To me it was just ok but for kids it is more enjoyable.

I initially purchased this movie online due to the availability at the store. I was surprised to actually locate a copy of the movie in store. The return of the online copy was great.

Excellent selection and a quality dvd. Customer service in the store was great as well. I would recommend the hickory location to anyone looking for any tech products.

We have watched this on Netflix many of times and own the sequels. We snagged this in the $5 bin at BB and can't complain! This is a great family film and series!

Fun for the whole family. It's funny because it's also written for adults with all the innuendos. With popcorn in your grandkids how does it get better than that?

First part is alway the best, we really enjoy this movie. It’s super fantastic. All the details and sounds are amazing. Kids really got into the story.

The movie is great addition to the kids section of the movie library and it is a good entertaining movie for both adults and children. We plan to watch it again when our grand-children visit us and that was at their request.

My daughter is starting to get into movies and this is held her attention. It’s a good movie for kids and adults. Several laugh out loud moments.

This has been one of my 4 year old daughters favorite movie series. It also has some funny adult humor to keep the grownups entertained!

Bought both this one and the 2nd one and my wife and nephew watched it multiple times. I will watch it also when I get home from work.
