Loved House of Cards on TV and happy to now own the five seasons on DVD!

Will Kevin Spacey make any more movies or will he go into seclusion like Howard Hughes?

In my opinion - A great political series that represents the current state of things.

This 5th season of House of Cards is the most gripping and engrossing one so far. The betrayals and criminal activities never stop. Everybody double crosses everybody for the pursuit of power and ego satisfaction. All the criminal activity this series attributes to politicians is, no doubt, fictional. However, the striving for power and ego enhancement by politicians which this series so vividly portrays seems all too real.

My wife's standard comment when we finish an episode: "can we watch another one"? The story lines are so interesting and draw you in (even if unrealistic). You find yourself almost rooting for the very evil people at the center of the tale because the performances are so seductive. Warning: this season, more than any before, requires a knowledge of previous storylines, so watch from Season One forward.

I think that "House of Cards" was one of the greatest new political series of all-time and it was also one of my favorite new political series of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed this series several times and I also think that "House of Cards" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable mystery, suspense, drama and action including amazing and original personal/political storylines.

Been enjoying this show since day one and we were pleased with season 5 as well. Can't beat the $8.99 price tag Best Buy had for Black Friday. However, be aware that the discs are loaded in very tight slots that are part of a cardboard foldout. All the discs for every set I have came scratched due to this poor set design. To avoid further problems, I moved the discs to a dvd booklet with soft inserts. Other than that, I have no complaints.

This was an amazing show and I wish that they would have kept going using the character Claire as president for at least one more season and saying that Frank is on the run due to murder charges or something.. or just missing.. the writing was brilliant thru out the series and wish there was more

I haven't viewed this seasonal offering, nor the previous three seasons. I am waiting until the end of the series, then I'll do the binge viewing thing [ I like that more than having to wait a long time to find out how something turns out]. Based on current news concerning the main character, I will probably be watching this whole series in the next few weeks....

The savage instinct and the sacrifice required to rule the world with a skeletal hand made of steel. Love the banter, the ruthlessness of the writing and the determination of the characters not scene on the screen for a long time. This SERIES kick the guacamole out of them all.

I thought that season 4 was not very good, and I didn't think the series had any gas left in the tank. Season 5 showed that they can still keep you coming back for more. This was a much better season, and created interest for season 6. Too bad there may never be a season 6. Because of that, you should get this season to round out your set!

Yes i bought these even after the accusations about Kevin spacey. But if i gave a rats you know what about what actors and actresses do off camera, i would have stopped watching TV and movies years ago! This is an awesome show and he's a talented actor!

Not as good as past seasons. There is still intrigue and backstabbing, but some of it is pretty monotonous and parrots too much of what is going on with the current Trump administration in a lot of ways. Too much with the manipulation of election results too.

So it really isn't a question. If you are watching this series you have to buy this season. I like having them on the go and watching when I want if I am not connected to the internet.

Wow, they've really nailed the undercurrents of present politics...with even darker twists. Acting is always superlative even if their personal lives are less so.

Excellent script and cast. Never disappoints.the supporting cast is awesome. Too bad it has to end. But still looking forward to the final season.
