This show change the game for Netflix! If you didn't know before, now you do. It's a keeper that competes very well with the great content on HBO, Showtime, Starz, AMC, FX and Starz. The only negative and that network shows are now virtually unwatchable.

The second season did not let me down. Still a great story line and excellent characters! I see that they did not learn from the first season on the DVD packaging. Still seeing scratches on the DVD's. Come on Sony wake up!

I do not subscribe to Showtime or HBO so this series was not available for general television viewing. In the past I have purchased Game of Thrones seasons 1-4 and like having the opportunity of watching multiple chapters when I want to.

I was a little skeptical about this show but it's awesome. Kevin Spacey creates this thing! I loved it from start to finish so much I had to go out and buy the second season and watch it. My recommendation to anyone out there for this show

I've read great reviews of this series, and I rather enjoyed the BBC original it's based on, but I was a little underwhelmed by this remake. In every technical respect, it's top notch, on par with an HBO drama series - great production values, great acting (although Kevin Spacey drifts in and out of his accent a bit), solid direction. But the writing isn't at the same level. The original was all about beyond-the-pale political gamesmanship, and this one aims for the same thing, but the politicking actually seems kind of pedestrian. There is the one big shocking act (I won't say more to avoid spoilers), but it was strangely unaffecting. Maybe it's just that we've seen the same kind of thing handled way better in other series (I'm thinking especially of Breaking Bad, which featured a somewhat similar plot development that really did shock), but I think the real lack in the scene was that it didn't seem coherently connected to the character's development. As for the rest, there are numerous machinations that are supposed to seem ruthless and extreme but actually seem pretty run of the mill in real world politics. Despite my disappointment with the plotting, it's still a decent watch. I probably sound more negative than I mean to be because I'm focusing on the fairly narrow part that held it back from being really great.

I was an instant fan of season 1 and since I don't subscribe to Netflix was eagerly awaiting the DVD release of Season 2.It has been tough not to binge view and try to space out viewing the episodes.I hope there is a season three.

Frank Underwood ranks right up there with Marlo from the Wire, Geoffrey from Game of Thrones, and the Governor from the Walking Dead as one of best all time villains. Shocking. This is how I truly believe our government works.

Great casting. Sadly probably an accurate portrayal of Washington politics. Kevin Spacey is perfect in this role, especially his side comments made directly to the audience. Couldn't wait for season 2 to become available.

Not to spoil this season, it is better than the first. The show dares to go where most series would not...in the first few episodes. Frank finds some very interesting challenges as does Claire. Well worth watching.

This is a great series that I just found out about a few months ago. I watched both seasons before purchasing them because I wanted to watch them again. The price at Christmas was another incentive for buying.

I can't wait for the 3rd Season to come out! It pulls you in from the get go! Kevin Spacey is brilliant. The writing/acting is fantastic. One of the best shows! Ever! Suspense and dark comedy at its finest!

House of Cards is probably one of my favorite shows. Everything from the plot to the characters and cast are good from start to finish. The show has left me wanting more since the first episode of season one.

Very good storyline and if you're a fan of Kevin Spacey, this is great. The show breaks the 4th wall and characters talk to the audience, it's such a unique experience as if we're also part of the story.

LOVE House of Cards, its the best show currently produced. Kevin Spacey is an amazing actor that leaves you binge watching for hours and still wanting more. Best series Netflix has ever produced.

Season 2 of House of Cards is every bit as good as season 1. BB had a great price on it and I happily snapped it up and cannot wait for Season 3 to be released on dvd. You will not be disappointed.

House of Cards Season 2 does not disappoint. It is as good or better than the first season. The writing and acting are all top notch. There are some early surprises which help shape the season.

I bought seasons one and two after seeing a few episodes while visiting my parents. My dad is a big fan and now so are we. Still watching season one. These people are ruthless!

Kevin Spacey gives an unforgettable performance as Congressman Frank Underwood. Career driven and power hungry, he will stop at nothing to stay ahead of the political game on capital hill.

Had to purchase the second season of this series, as the first was excellent. I try to catch up on series TV watching when our weather turns cold and we can't enjoy the outdoors.

We are absolutely obsessed with this show! Started the series late after several friends told us about it. Binge watched the whole season in like 4 nights. Can't wait for season 3!
