Bought this for my 13 year old as a birthday gift. Very easy to assemble and equally easy to use. He was out and scooting around the neighborhood in no time. Seems to be solid construction and very safe. I tried it out myself and it was really easy to use/operate. Good quality and happy with the purchase for the price. I think he'll get many hours of fun out of this.

Realistic range is about 8 miles flat ground. I had exchanged one because the deck light would flicker and the motor braking would cut in and out only when the battery was full, however I discovered that even with the second unit it still happened. My guess is when the battery is near full the motor brake has nowhere to store the excess charge until the battery dies a bit so the ESC will just shut down for a split second repeatedly to protect itself. Took it apart out of curiosity (Voided the warranty) and discovered that even though it states a 400w motor on the box, it is only a 350w ESC. Also some of the wires were pinched and wouldn't have lasted very long had I not gone in there. If yours comes with a weird cover on the front rim do yourself favor and just take it off. You'll need a long #1 (Maybe #2 I can't remember) Phillips screwdriver and a pick to get out some tiny rubber plugs covering the screws. Otherwise good luck filling the tire with anything other than the included pump which is terrible. Lastly, check all the bolts especially the front axle. Add blue loctite to anything important and your good to go! Overall, I'd say its great for the price but you get what you pay for and that's some shoddy quality control and welds on the frame. Be gentle with it and it should last a long time. Can't speak for the battery quality because I couldn't see any markings on it and didn't want to crack it open. As far as I can tell its a 10 cell/3 parallel 18650 arrangement. Seems to be holding up well with about ~40 miles on it. P.S. The Bluetooth speaker is pretty bad. Mostly a gimmick but it does work and sounds okay until about 75% volume. After that its a distorted mess. No bass and not much loudness.

My teenage son loves everything about it. The size and speed are perfect for him. He especially loves the Bluetooth that lets him cruise with his tunes!

It’s a great little scooter- but .. I had some problems with it the first one I got something was wrong with the battery drain too fast , the second one The screws were not tightening and the locking mechanism was off-center , the third one is perfect so far - Best Buy gives you two weeks to return it so if you feel anything wrong with it take it back , Best Buy has one of the best customer service ! They really do anything to make you feel complete with your purchase .

The scooter is great but the only issue I have is that I can't find a replacement latch for the steering column to remain upright.

The Scooter from Hover-1 Company is great when I ordered it but after I assembled it it runs in a steady slow speed. For adults riding this scooter wouldn’t be the best than for kids to ride on. This is the best for kids of 15 and below.

Easy to assemble. Handle clamp is a little hard to disengage to fold handle down; good and bad...good because the handle will not fold easily while riding, bad because it takes a good amount of force to disengage. A little heavier than expected. Overall, easy to ride, super smooth, brakes are great, looks cool! Love the lamp on the handle and LOVE the light on the base board.

Being a heavier adult it is great to find a product that supports a higher weight limit!! Had no problems reaching the max speed, love the bluetooth feature for cruising with music. The brake squeaks pretty loudly and you really have to squeeze the brake handle to engage the brakes. Tried correcting the brake issue following the guides on the manufacture's website with no luck - not sure if the problem is a product issue or user issue? Either way I have adapted how I apply the brake to stop.

This is my 2nd Hover 1 scooter. This one is a little larger and a few mph faster. Bluetooth speaker is cool, sound is just OK though. The light up logo and bottom blue lights are pretty cool and only come on with the headlights. The battery seems to get used up a bit faster than I had hoped, although I have never calculated how far it will actually travel on a charge.

The scooter has good range and speed for a great time… Too big for my 12-year-old daughter

I have a 10 year old daughter who loves this thing. She has ridden it several miles at a time. While it does get up to 18mph, you can lock it to 11 for safety. It has a nice head and tail light and blue running lights so it looks neat at night. I can safely say as a 190lbs male, it moves me around fast as well and had no trouble getting up to speed when I took it out.

So far so good, had it for 2 days was upset at first because it only went 15mph but when fully charged it goes 18 which for sum reason just feels way faster, only reason for the 4 stars is it makes like a squeak ok sum sound when riding, but it looks like a sturdy scooter its pretty big and heavy, I’m hoping it won’t break on me in the future, it’s huge size screams durable and built to last

It is a nice solid scooter for the price. Good tires, nice Bluetooth and the lights look really neat! It's got 10 inch tires, ideal for adults. The only thing I didn't like was the battery life wasn't very good. But, that's why it's not as expensive. If you want a nice scooter for fun, this is great. If you are using it to commute, you would need one that has better battery life.

Great scooter. Easy to assemble . It struggled to take my sexy 270 lbs body up the hill at my home but it made it slowly with no assist. Great lights looks real good. Comes with bluthooth speaker onboard but it leaves much to be desired. Still a relative bonus. Not a bad price also. Another Good buy from bestbuy! Thanks

Well my friend's and my son's friends love it because of the Bluetooth speaker sounds awesome.But if only if it was a little faster it would be great and wish it had mirrors.It would be great and safer. That way you don't have to turn your head back looking whether or not any vehicles are coming behind you. That's the know thing it needs.

Got this for my girlfriend for Christmas as she has been wanting an electric scooter for a long time now and it has been awesome. She loves riding it. She takes it around the neighborhood, takes it to the parks, and even takes it to go get ice cream. Im glad I got it!

I love this so much. Max speed is 18mph. Battery last for about 40ish miles. But do keep in note is that when the battery gets lower your speed will be reduced. Expect to recharge this every 2 to 3 days if your using this constantly. This this has built in lights which makes this even cooler.
