Huge improvement over Hover-1’s previous scooter (of course, it’s a bit more expensive). Key improved features: it’s faster, it can go about double the ride time between charges and has larger, 8.5”, wheels. The larger wheels are great — larger wheels make your ride more stable. It has cruise control, which is easy to use, and the head and brake lights are bright! The, very cool/stealthy, integrated display gives lots of information. It can go up hills, but it isn't super quick on hills, as expected. It is really fun zipping around the neighborhood. It’s easy to assemble, you don't need directions — it includes a hex wrench and 2 extra screws, which is nice. The fit and finish is respectable, especially considering the cost. No, it’s not a Bird (Segway), etc., scooter, but it’s WAY less expensive and an all-around Great scooter! Totally worth the price.

For the price that I paid, I did enjoy having it when I did. It was very convenient for small commutes, although my experience was having the back tire break often so that would set me back. Be mindful of the roads you may use for commute as well.

I don't have any experience with other electric scooters but this one seems pretty solid for street-use. I bought for leisure neighborhood travel and seems pretty sturdy. I'm a larger person, close to the max weight, the top speed hits 15mph even with me. Battery seems good but I haven't pushed it to hear depletion, I make sure I charge it before it goes dead. I let my adult friends try it out and though hesitant at first, they got the feel of it quickly and became confident in riding. Be careful in the heat, anything above 90 degrees Fahrenheit, the tires will heat up on the hot pavement/asphalt. It doesn't take bumps very well, no shocks to absorb them and I'm sure that isn't good on the tires. Not meant to pop curbs, driveways with the low lip already is pushing it. Treat your tires carefully, I've read others have gotten flats and it's nigh impossible to fix. Only issue I've noticed so far is that the LED light shines a decent stretch down the road, potentially blinding oncoming traffic.

Easy to assemble, light enough to carry up a flight of stairs... I get top speed of 15. Takes about four hours to fully charge. Brakes could be a little more responsive. Likes super smooth pavement, you're not taking this over a curb or pothole. Lots of fun, bought mine on sale about a month ago. Lights a nice bonus.

This scooter is amazing! I saw people riding the rental electric scooters all over the city and decided to try one myself. I had so much on them that I decided to buy my own... and boy am I glad I did! The scooter came almost fully assembled, all you have to do is screw in the handlebars which was really easy. Took about 2 minutes. It said to charge the scooter before use, but I didn't. My family and I took turns riding it around the neighborhood for a good hour or so and the battery didn't drain at all which was awesome. It's very easy to balance and get the hang of. There's practically no learning curve. The scooter goes FAST. It even goes into cruise control mode which was sweet. We are having so much fun with it! I like that it's easy to fold in half so we can store it in the closet and it doesn't take up too much space. It came with a tire pump which was a nice added bonus that I wasn't expecting. Haven't had to pump the wheels, but it's nice to know we have it just in case. Very pleased with this scooter, especially for the price. It goes far, fast, and has been so much fun for my family! Strongly recommend this.. may have to buy another so I don't have to share!

I bought two. One has only been used a couple handful of times no issues. The other had tire issues after a bit over a year. It had extended warrenty but was covered under manufacture warrenty. The next one made it about 7 months before an alternator code. It was covered under manufacture warrenty but this time had to repurchase extended warrenty. Well see hoe the next one is. That said it is used 5-6 days a week and is really enjoyed by its owner. Runs smooth. Picks up speed nicely.

Overall, this is a great product. First of all it came with a tire pump which I was very impressed by. The scooter has a great design. I felt really comfortable standing on the wide base. The throttle was easy to push but it wasn't too sensitive. The breaks also weren't too sensitive which was good. The breasks allowed for a slow stop, not making you jolt forward. The battery life seemed to be sufficient. It ran out quick, but that's probably because I was in "high-speed" mode. It still lasted me a long time. Overall, great comfortable scooter that I can see myself riding around town on.

This Hover-1 scooter is really great, fun and practical. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver – it makes it simple to zip from place to place. The distance you can go before charging is impressive and works well for traveling throughout the neighborhood or down to the store. It goes 14 mph, and accelerates at a safe speed. Even going 9 mph is the lower “gear” gets you moving pretty good. I am happy with the color, durability and how it is holding up. It has a fun bell and even has a brake light! The quality Hover-1 produces seems to keep getting better!

This scooter is strong, goes 15mph Has a headlight and cruise control. I have overheated the motor a few times on real hot days. I’ve talked to people who rented the scooters downtown and those overheat too. It’s just a layer of protection for the motor I really enjoy the scooter overall

So far very happy. Very fast for a 6’3 250lbs make. Was very easy to assemble. Check all the screws one one messed up but they give extras. I hope it continues to be an awesome scooter but for now and for the price it was a great buy.

I love this scooter! Even my wife and my 10 year-old daughter love it too! I even let my 7 year-old son ride with me, though not recommended, since I have a very good balance. I'm 145 lbs. and this toy can speed up to 15mph on a flat road or pavement and on cruise control mode steadily. I took it for a long ride about 10 miles on a full charge and it was able to take me to my destination with 1 battery bar left. Well, it wasn't all flat road. There were a few uphills and rode on a grass and dirt road for half a mile since I ran out of sidewalks. It does have rubber tires but it was still bumpy so I had to slow down on the cracks, bumps and off-roads. LED headlight is also bright at night riding with brake lights actually blinking when you press the brake.Overall, I like the performance of it!

I just got this scooter and boy I'm so happy, I'm 195 lbs and I can get 8 or 9 miles on a full charge depending on the road, smooth ride, very easy to ride, I go to work on it, I Take it Whith me every where I go, not the best but great for the price

So far so good with this scooter I bought it for my girlfriend and we have put 30 miles on it so far, our range we see is actually around 10 miles, according to my ninebot max when we ride together. Also the top speed we get on ours is 16mph up to 17 but the screen will only go to 15 so don’t be fooled. It is super easy to carry its light and portable we like it so much we just ordered a second one in yellow for guests when they want to ride with us. Great scooter for us so far no issues and very powerful. The front tire will do a burnout when I take off on it fast and I even weigh over 200lbs lol

My 16-year old son LOVES his Electric Scooter. His father is going to by one for himself as well. I think I want one too. The battery stays charged for a long time too.

This scooter is so much fun but it worked correctly for less than one week. I just returned it and plan to get another in hopes that it will work perfectly for round 2! It gave me an E2 error which means the accelerator has failed. My daughter has one in another color that has been working well for about 4 months. Maybe the one I got was just a fluke.... I’ll give it another try.

Got this for my 14yo for his birthday. He enjoyed it until he got a flat lol

This is a good Electric scooter. It matches my expectation and sure to get attention when I ride this. Good to ride on street, parks and beach. Very easy to get going, minimum learning to ride this. The only thing I saw is that it does not have 16 miles operating range on 1 battery charge. But it is good to ride for more than 90 minutes on single charge. Other things like slope, uphill and I usually ask my 6 yr old to stand with me can also affect the Operating range. But this one for sure has not let me down a bit.

The Hover-1 Journey Scooter was even better than I thought it would be. It has a solid build and is very well made. I was greatly surprised to see it has a headlight and a couple of speeds. I'm pleased that the tires are substantial which makes me feel safer when using it, and it folds down nicely for storage. Great product!

We are loving this scooter! It is easy to balance and steer and our son (9) thinks he is on top of the world! We charged it for 5 hours when it first arrived and the battery is still at full charge after 3 days and multiple rides! I would highly recommend this scooter to everyone! We love it!!!
