Very happy with this scooter! Just wish the battery had a little more capacity! Only getting about 4 miles out of a full charge! I weigh 185 pounds and am riding it on a flat surface!

had this purchase 11/29/19 for my daughter for school inside the campus from building to building class schedule, as she fed up using the bikes since she had to put it on and take it off from the bike rack behind her car, so far no complaint about this product, will update this review after a couple of months use

Ordered it in early December as Christmas gift for my son, but it never arrived and "supposedly" was lost in transit. Thus, Christmas came and my son didn't get his gift. However, Best buy customer service resolved the issue and had another one sent at a discounted price (thank you customer service). The scooter is nice and my son loves it. The quality is good too. However, the only issue is the rear step-on brake. It broke the same day my son used it. Hover-1 needs to make a stronger plastic or come up with a better design to eliminate or reduce the breaking issue. Seemingly, this is a known issue because the part is sold on their website (re: Hover-1 L5 Brake) BUT it is "sold out" ......... I guess a lot of people have the same issue and need the part due to it breaking off. Now, because I have to spend money to buy a part for a "seemingly" known issue / design flaw, I can't give this scooter the amount of stars it deserves. Should this issue be fixed by Hover-1, this product will easily get 4 and 5 stars.

I am a bigger guy (around 230 pounds), so I was worried when I bought this product that it wouldn't be able to keep a charge very long or hit max speed while I was riding it. I’ve seen this problem before with other electric scooters, but I was pleasantly surprised when none of these problems arouse. It was able to hit its max speed (12-13 mph) and run on a single charge all day. Overall it’s a very useful product for traveling around the local area and I’m pleased with my purchase.

Love my scooter, great speed not as advanced as others but for a. beginner it has just the right speed and easy handlebar control. Love the long headlight light instead of a spotlight. Wish they would come up with a better mechanism to fold as it is a little troublesome.

I bought this scooter for my son for his Birthday and as his transportation to his school (middle school). He really likes the scooter. He likes how fast it goes. It rides smooth and he loves passing his siblings on their regular scooters. Now his siblings want one for Christmas. Lol!

My grandson loves this thing. It moves pretty quickly. Folds for easy storage. The only thing I don't like as much is that the handlebars are not adjustable height. Other than that it was an enjoyable purchase.

When I received the scooter, it was packaged in a very secure & sturdy box. The online picture doesn't do this product justice. It actually has a large platform and good size wheels, even a shock absorber to make going over bumps with ease. Love that it has 3 gear for driving slow or fast. Acceleration and braking are smooth. When starting, give yourself a little push then hit the accelerator. There is even a bright LED headlight, if you want to ride at night. Just make sure you always wear a helmet. My kids and their friends fight over who gets to ride it. It lasts a long time in between charging. For the money, this scooter is a gem.

If you’ve never ridden a scooter then this is a good one to start doing it with features that i find in the medium range in regards to speed,capabilities and size but don’t be fooled by it’s relatively small size it has a good handling even for an adult person which i found great and making it more appealing to get it

I've owned this product for about 1.5 months - it rides fine and does hit the 12mph spec outdoors on asphalt, however the battery doesn't charge to full capacity about half the time now. Hover-1 manufacturer's warranty is absolute garbage - they refuse to diagnose this issue and are trying to get me to buy a new charger instead. The advertised range is 7 miles, but comes with a huge caveat - the speed is capped at 5-7 mph when the battery drops below approximately the halfway mark. So in reality you can only go 12 mph for about 2 miles, then 5-7 for maybe another mile. The total range is only about 3 miles.

I got it on special for $190. It is going to be 8 days with the scooter, works great. I weigh 170 —-5’11. I already put 30 milles.I like it , no problems at all. It goes up to 15 milles an hr.

Bought it for my sons 7th birthday and thought it would be too advanced but it has 3 gears which makes it perfect for him as well as myself. Can get up to 15mph and rides very smooth!! Would highly recommend to to anyone!!!

Works as advertised. Assemble was easy just follow the instructions. I like the speed adjust levels so you don't have to worry about over speed. Brakes work great. It does take time to get used to the way it handles.

Bought this for my daughters 6th birthday. It took her 3 weeks to learn how to fully use it on her own. It’s great. She said it was her favorite gift. I even get to enjoy it. Charges good, you can go up to 15mph

I love this scooter! The overall build seems nice and feels premium and looks super clean. It has a great display and it’s very intuitive to use, right out of the box (you’re supposed to fully charge it, I couldn’t wait). Charges pretty quick. Brake works well. I’m not sure of the 7mi battery life — but I’m going to test that out tomorrow. Here is to hoping it’s close, or I’ll be scootering sans-“e”. All in all, great electric scooter for the money!

I am 185 pounds, scooter is awesome but struggles on hills. The relatively small tires also ensure you feel every bump in the road but for the price the scooter is fantastic. In my experience the range is slightly lower than advertised and the speed is slightly higher on flat ground(14-16mph)

Useful to get around for a short and medium distance. My kids and I used it a lot. It's easy to use and it has 3 speeds, slow, medium, and fast. Just make sure GeekSquad protection is also purchased to protect this item if we use it within 2 years at least.

When I purchased this, i literally didn't expect to fall in love with it! I bought it for my son, and well, i have pretty much taken over it as my own! So much fun for the whole family!
