bought this last year, haven't gotten a chance to use it until recently. battery was dead when i plugged it into the charger. submitted a ticket, but told me to go screw myself because of their terrible 90 day warranty. couldn't even offer me to buy a replacement battery because this model has been discontinued. they also linked me their "spare part page" which consists of only chargers for their different models. don't buy from hover1, the warranty is actually worthless. The fact that they only offer a 90 day warranty shows them how much they really back their products lifespan. "Everyboard you buy without the extended warranty is guaranteed to work for 90 days!" worthless piece of junk

bought two hover boards one work great the other didn't bought them in thanksgiving for a Christmas present and hover board refuse to warranty due to it was over 30 day from purchase

The hoverboard was solid for the price at first but then after a few days it would need to be recalibrated every few uses

This hoverboard worked great and had a blast....for like a month. After a month, it started acting up and finally started going off in full speed by itself like a chainsaw. Obviously that poses safety concerns and had to return it.

Great upgrade if you own a "regular" hoverboard. This one is substantially bigger thanks to the air-filled tires. However, the ride is sooooo much smoother and goes over bumps and steps with ease. Highly recommended!

My daughter loves the hoverboard and we got a second one when it was on sale for $99. Keeps good charge and very stable due to big tires and excellent clearance from ground.

I am 58 and my kids laughed at me when I got this for myself. It was so easy to ride and I am having a great time on it. It is sturdy and fun.

My 11 year old son loves riding this hover board. Great battery life and the large wheels make it easy to ride all over the place.

Charged and used once. Never turned on again. Need to return

It’s good but you need to add air to the tires. Definitely add air if you weigh more than 150lbs.

Pretty cool hoverboard/scooter. The manual says up to 9 mph and 8 mi range but that depends on the weight of the user (up to 265 lbs) and probably whether you use the built in bluetooth speaker. It also says using gps through your phone will drain the battery faster. The lights will probably drain the battery too but likely not much. Clearly made to handle adult use but kids will love it too. The recommended min age is 15 so keep that in mind. Some kids younger may be able to handle it but should probably wear a helmet and kneepads, elbow pads etc. I'm an adult at about 155 lbs so it seems ideal for me. Larger size with big wheels/tires and seems really sturdy. Lights are kind of cool and make you more visible for safety but not required (use the app to turn them on or change colors). App gives you more options especially experience level which can limit your speed. Not fully supported for all features yet but will likely be with future updates. Speaker is ok for music if you must have music but a little distracting for me. I probably won't use it much to save on the battery. Better than wearing headphones which would likely prevent you from hearing sounds around you. I liked it enough that I bought the Hover-1 Raptor buggy/go cart attachment to go with it from Best Buy for $109.99. I haven't had a chance to try the attachment yet due to winter weather (we just had a 4" snow followed with frigid temps) but it appears with a few adjustments it should work. Can't wait to try it out.

Very fast and heavy duty. One spinner came off in the laen but right back on.
