Great hoverboard for the price. The speaker is a gimmick, but otherwise a good toy!

First time using a hoverboard, and I was comfortable after 15 minutes. Clear instructions were included in the box. I was worried the Hover-1 – Ranger Pro would get stuck on small rocks or objects, but the tires are fairly big and handled small objects well. I let the Ranger Pro charge overnight before attempting a ride and here are the two most important things to do. First, STEP onto the hoverboard with confidence. If you hesitate then you will increase your chance of falling. Second, have someone hold you or something sturdy like a countertop to put your hands on top of until you feel like you are able to comfortably stand on the hover board. This is a fun gadget by itself, but you must download the app to fully enjoy the Ranger Pro. Also, this hoverboard comes with a built in Bluetooth speaker which changes the vibe/experience. It is different hoverboarding around to tunes of your choice. It sounds silly but it really does enhance the experience. This is an excellent product and made my intro to the hoverboard world easy and fun. More than 10 people have been able to get on and enjoy this board in under 15 minutes.

I ordered it in April and it stopped working in 4 months. it automatically shuts down after 30 seconds to 1 minute driving. You can't turn it on unless plug it to an outlet.

Do not recommend. From the moment we opened the item and got it running, the bluetooth speaker didn't work. We could connect through the app and play sound, but it was just distorted and you couldn't hear anything but what sounded like a bad bluetooth connection. We tried everything from repairing to different phones, nothing worked. The app is buggy and slow and keeps disconnecting from the hoverboard. The spinners fall off easily. After less than 5 or 6 uses, the hoverboard will no longer power on and is broken.

I buy this about 4 months ago, but now can’t turn off. All time on and LED on all times, so I can’t keep battery. Some can help my problem. Please

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect with the Ranger Pro electric scooter, but I knew my son would enjoy it. I was initially a little concerned he might not be old enough since the recommended age in the manual is 15 years but my 9 yr old handled it like a pro. It literally took him less than 3 minutes to figure out how to use it well so I think it depends on your kid and how much of a risk-taker they are and how well they adapt to challenges in the moment. He honestly made it look SO easy that if I had closed toe shoes on, I probably would have tried it out myself. It looks super easy. He didn't fall once. At any rate, I'm good with my 9 year old using it. He absolutely loved it and quickly adapted to how to drive it. He was excited to hear it playing music and flashing lights while he drove so we explored so of those features. For lights, there are a ton of color options which is super cool. The options are solid, random and strobe. Strobe is basically blinking which wasn't all that interesting, but random was nice. It was a good pace and worked through a bunch of colors. Had a nice touch. The speakers worked well too and it was rather easy to connect it to Bluetooth to leverage my iPhone to play music for him. I'm big fan of the app. It provided easy access to change the color, check the speed and look at a number of other settings, etc. My kiddo loved being able to find out how fast he was going. It also gave him a point of comparison to try to go faster than his previous top speed. So far we've tried it out on the driveway, our gravel driveway and across our yard and the scooter performed consistently. The only turnoff for me was the volume of warnings in the manual - no water, no excessive sun, don't drop it, etc. etc. Some of these things are obviously pretty standard with electrical anything, but the degree of warnings admittedly make me a little nervous that once false move will turn the scooter into a doorstop. We're just going to ensure we take good care of it and store it appropriately and hopefully my son will get lots of use out of it.

Works well indoors and out. I’m near the weight limit and this thing successfully scoots me along with ease. I have never had one before so getting on it for the first time was a little intimidating. However, after 10 minutes of use and getting comfortable on how to step on and off you’ll be surprised at just how natural it feels to ride one. The four sensors that control movement are extremely sensitive so subtle changes to your body weight and in your ankles will make it go. You can even go backwards! The Bluetooth speakers are nothing to write home about. They get loud but the sound quality is just ok. I prefer to use my wireless AirPods and I am guessing most people would do the same. However, my kids love playing the Avengers soundtrack through the speakers because it makes them “feel like Iron Man.” It is not too heavy so you can easily carry it onboard a public bus or train but it would be too large and heavy to put in a backpack. The only con I really have is the spinners are held on with little plastic tabs that will break off easily if you accidentally get too close to something especially riding indoors going through doorways and such. After using this daily to get around both of mine have already broken, but they are just for show anyway and it doesn't look much different without them. Pros: Fun! Supports up to 265lb Human Large tubeless tires Good max speed and battery range Cons: Spinners can break off easily. Overall – I can easily recommend this to anyone who is in the market for one. It works great for both kids and old guys like me!

Very poor quality charging port broke very next day of purchase. Wheel cups fell off within 24 hours. Have to reboot Board when loses its balance and get stuck quite often. Return it after 3rd day of purchase

Lasted one day before the Lights and Bluetooth stopped working and now after only one week the entire unit will not turn on or charge.

This hoverboard is beeping and red light is on right now. I had to walk 30 minutes with that.
