Customers commend the Ranger Pro Electric Self-Balancing Scooter for its durability, substantial weight capacity, and fun Bluetooth speaker feature with integrated lights. However, some users express concerns regarding the scooter's battery life and the ease with which certain components may detach. The brevity of the warranty period is also a point of customer dissatisfaction. Overall, the positive feedback on the scooter's core features outweighs the negative comments on its less durable aspects.

My family and I really enjoyed this hoverboard. What makes it great is that its larger build makes it more accessible for adults. The wheels are thicker which provides an extra layer of security when riding on slightly rougher surfaces. Charging takes a few hours, but that's common among most hoverboards. The speeds achieved, however, do vary by weight. I leaned heavily towards the weight threshold so the hoverboard was slower, but still enjoyable. The lights are a nice, fancy touch, but my favorite feature are the speakers. The sound is loud and very audible to those around. Overall, this is a unique, exciting device.

The Hover-1 Ranger Pro is the first hoverboard that I have owned or used, and it is quite the ride. My wife was terribly skeptical of me stepping onto this board and actually held me there as I stepped on it. But within 5 minutes I was zooming around with it! I tested it out first inside so that if I fell there would be limited witnesses and some walls around to get used to but oddly enough the body slowly figures out how to maneuver with the board. I have horrible balance skills, unsuccessful in ice skating but was able to master this! I figure some of this quick mastery had to have come from the board itself being intelligent with self balancing technology, so I’ll give the Ranger Pro that for sure!
Initial set-up of the board is simple… take it out of the box, charge until you see the green light on the charger and you’re pretty much good to go. The board itself is black with blue accents. The ends are chrome in color with a “spinner”. The spinner is a cute aspect to be a bit extra, but I believe the material chosen does not match the rest of the board well. Of course, aesthetic opinion. There is a phone app to assist in board settings. QR codes are included for both iPhone and Android, which allows for seamless downloading. There is a speak included on the board - you connect to Bluetooth separately for this. A bit redundant connecting the app separately from the Bluetooth but to allow for speaker functionality it is a must. Within the app there is a beginner, intermediate, and expert mode, if anything I feel this mainly adjusts the speed of the board. There is a separate screen to adjust the LED light color. I loveeeee a nice LED, I only wish there were some automated color changing settings as I’m extra.
The ability to have music play on the board is probably my favorite aspect. Being able to play music surrounding oneself sets a mood, while allowing for clear ability to hear. The volume range is just right for the feature in my opinion. If outside (of course it is advised to not use cars) hearing the world around oneself is paramount in safety. Of course, speaking to safety, use proper gear especially a helmet!
There is a manual included with a few tips and tricks if it is one’s first time with a hoverboard; however, it really does seem to come naturally. This board is significantly much more fun than I expected, and I’m looking forward to taking it out in the future!

At 6' 1" and 225 pounds I'm not too far away from being too heavy to ride this thing. After the initial charging (which is very very slow) my first step was to bluetooth pair my phone with this thing and immediately put on the song "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins and hit the street in my neighborhood.
If not for the self balancing feature I'm pretty sure I would be dead. When you put your first foot on this thing you have to very quickly put your second foot on it or it starts spinning in a circle. This makes for a very dizzying experience that takes a few minutes for your body to get used to. My 13 year old son adjusted faster than I did to this, and my wife didn't even seem to notice this spinning action was a thing. I found myself moving in a circle more than I cared to. Again it's a balancing act but its quite fun. More importantly once you are standing on the device the technology works well.
The device has 2 speakers built in but only 1 of the 2 can be used for music. The other is designed for system related sounds. This is pretty disappointing and made my Top Gun test runs not as musically impactful as I had hoped but it's still quite a delight to ride.

This the first hoverboard type device that I've owned. I have a wee bit experience as one time I did a Segway tour, but other than that I have no idea what I'm doing.
Whats in the box: Instructions, the hoverboard itself and a charger.
Setup: First off, charge the thing! It does take a while, up to 5 hours, but battery life is great so it's not too bad of a charge time. If you want, you can sync to the App and set up the Bluetooth speaker. The app setup is easy, turn on the hover board, open the app, Tap the bluetooth icon in the app and away you go. While in the app, you can see current speed, change modes (beginner, expert, etc) and have an odometer. I don't use the app much, as I don't travel long distances with the hoverboard. It could be useful if you traveled further with it, but not just doodling around the block with it.
Use: I had basically. no experience with a hoverboard, and this was quite easy to get used to using. You stand behind the unit, step on with one foot, and quickly step on with the other foot. The instructions say to be confident in this move, and it is TRUE. If you hesitate, or do it slowly, the board can start to spin around. After a few tries, I was able to get on the board without leaning on anything. After you get on the board, it takes a minute getting used to standing and the VERY slight movement required to move. It is sensitive, and will move by basically thinking you want to go in a certain direction. It really does not take long to get used to it, and I'm already riding around like an expert. Speaking of expert....what does expert mode do in the app? As far as I can tell, it lets the hoverboard go full tilt/speed forward, which is just too fast for me to be comfortable. In beginner mode, it seems to max out at about 4 MPH, I have yet to max out expert mode, but I feel like its more than 7 mph.
Ok, so you've cruised around your neighborhood on your hoverboard with spinner rims (yes, its fricken amazing, SPINNERS!), blasting the jurassic park theme and "rollin'" by Limp Bizkit on the bluetooth speaker (which, is fairly loud, but kinda muddy sounding). How long does it last? a LONG time. You can easily get 5 miles of range out of this thing. I haven't had an issue with range, but I do not use this as a long distance traveling machine, just to get the mail down the road or go from my living room to kitchen.
Overall: This thing is great. It is well built and easy to use. I love the rubber tires as you can dork around in the house with this and not scratch floors.

This is my first time owning a Hover board and let me tell you its the most funnest thing EVER!! I was a bit hesitant about it since it can be a little scary to ride it. To be honest coming from a 35y/o women it was soo fun and easy to use. It probably took me a few mins to get the hang of it. Once you balance it out its a piece of cake. It runs smoothly and it can really go fast. The battery last a long time. You can download the APP but its really not that necessary. Unless you want to change the light colors and the sequence. This Hover board comes with a speaker as well. The speaker sounds ok nothing special about it, but its nice to have one. Overall its a fun easy to use and fast Hover Board. I definitely recommend this to anyone.
