    This lens not only protects my camera lens for my D3400 Nikon but also did a well job.Even though my daughter uses my camera more than I do, the outdoor photos she took were very clear and sharp. I also was able to use my Reward points which only cost me half of what I would originally would of paid for it.

    The lens should be protected, pretty cheap insurance for the cost of a filter. The UV protection is a nice bonus.

    This high-definition UV filter is commonly used to protect your camera lenses from fingerprints, dust, and fog. At the same time it effectively protect the sensor from UV radiation. I tested the optical quality of that filter taking pictures of max resolution with and without filter. No visible differences were observed. So, as always, Hoya filters are really high quality accessories making life a little easy for any photographer.

    The Hoya is affordable and nice quality. Don’t over spend on UV filters. Today these are more for protection than actual photo beneficial. Look of Hoya UV(O).

    I purchased this filter after reading several reviews for UV filters. The UV protection is not seen as the filter is clear and there is no distortion of images. I have noticed that my blue skies are very vivid and the colors are spot on. So far I am very happy with the filter and hope to purchase additional Hoya filters - polarized next!
