    This filter does anise job filtering UV light but most importantly to me it provdes good protection for my Nikon lens at a reasonable price.

    The photos I took were clear and free of haze. The only downfall to me was that the sun was just to the left off my object and I ended up with reflected sun spots in my pictures. Very likely user error since I'd not used this kind of lens before.

    There isn't that much to say about this - it's a UV filter for a lens from a well-respected manufacturer of filters. I always spend the extra for Hoya over the no-name brands at Best Buy.
