Pluses: lighter in weight; easy to use; great price Negative: a little adjustment getting used to a smaller keyboard than my last laptop; I ordered it and was informed that I could pick it up at a local store, then the next day that changed, so I had to change the order to having it shipped.

This laptop was puchased for my daughter. What she liked about it is its size, that it can fold backwards so she can draw on it, & its battery life.

Perfect for E-Mail and Internet. Most things are cloud based, so this works. Solid design made of quality metal casing. Keyboard feels good. Fingerprint reader works well. Battery life is really good.

I'm able to use whatever apps I want, quickly. I've not used a stylus, but the finger sensitivity has been sufficient for me. This tablet has a quick response for me and provides me with the functionality I need. The battery lasts longer than any other iPad or tablet I've used prior to this tool.

Really good laptop did everything it was supposed to do and even better price than we expected we will be using Best Buy to purchase all of our appliances and electronic needs in the future

Would definitely recommend, honestly it was a great purchase (I'm writing this review from there). It honestly is really good, it has good features and it does a lot more than what you would think a Chromebook could do. I do have to say I have experienced some overheating and sudden shutdowns before, but not something that happens often. I love the versatility of having the best of both worlds, a laptop and a computer. It is really convenient because there are things a tablet cannot do or viceversa, so I really enjoy that. I've been using it for college and honestly if you are on a budget and want something good and reliable, really think about this one. plus I love to flex how my computer becomes a tablet. it is very aesthetically pleasing btw, love the screen.

Excellent Chromebook. Good performance, crisp display. Sound decent enough to enjoy movies / songs by yourself. responsive touch. Overall a good buy. Would surely recommend it and am happy with my purchase more because i had scored an awesome deal on it.

Perfect for school use. Just recently started my masters program and needed an updated laptop and this was perfect. Google docs is very useful, battery life is great and touch screen is awesome for aide projects.

Solid laptop top if you can’t get by using just chrome. Which most people can, but a lot of people actually need to run programs and most of it isn’t compatible with chrome. I couldn’t even get my printer tk hook up to it. But performance wise it’s great. Fast speeds sleek appearance. I love the keyboard but the trackpad felt kind of laggy. Never once froze or locked up like my surface laptop go. Wanted to put windows on it but for the price it wasn’t worth it. Tldr good laptop for students. Anyone who needs to run software unless you install Linux on it I would avoid. But I would give it a solid 7/10 for a chromebook

Great Chromebook. Fast processor. Fingerprint sensor is excellent and the bezels are thin. Very nice track-pad and back-lit keyboard. The FHD screen is wonderful indoors, my only issue is that the 250 nits of brightness is not very good for outdoor use if it is very sunny. Expect 8-9 hours of battery use per charge. Very well built but slightly heavy.

I got the chromebook to replace an aging tablet and I love this thing. Its fast, The picture quality is fantastic, it sounds great and the touch screen works perfectly.

I am a fan of chrome books, but some of the value models are slow and limited in features. Not the case with this HP model. Functions in all apps, easy to use, great battery life, touchscreen is responsive and accurate.

Bought this laptop for my 13 yr old son for school, He loves it. Therefore, I also bought another one for my other son 12 yr old since it was very light, touchscreen and easy to use. They are durable and both of my kids love their laptops.

I think 8GB RAM memory is a minimum especially for any student beyond elementary school. They will need to open lots of tabs, with Zoom meeting/classes going on, and taking notes perhaps on multiple screens and that requires a lot of memory. Oh and the Core i3 CPU helps to keep up the speed on all the pages and apps that's running. Good battery life and HD screen and best of all, it's a 2-in-1 which means if folds into a giant tablet!! You have 3 app markets: Chrome Apps, Android Apps, and Linux Apps and I've ran the popular ones from all 3 and works great! What more do you need?

This is a very solid all-around Chromebook. It's one serious competitor is the Acer Spin 713 which is better overall at a similar price point, but if you can get this one $100 or more cheaper, it's worth it! Pros - All metal - Excellent backlit keyboard - Lots of ports - Speedy performance Cons - Screen is good but not as bright as Acer Spin 713 - A bit heavy for 14 inch (~3.6lbs)
