I need a computer that I could use for work. Old one was cracked and too slow. These days lessons needed to be created and uploaded and the computer saved me from not being able to keep up with the district's commands .

I broke my previous hp laptop that was 17”, and decided to go with another laptop that wasn’t too big or too small. This is the perfect laptop, it runs all my programs smoothly for college, the perfect size for desks, and I haven’t had any problems since I purchased it.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for the ol mother-in-law. She had been using my personal laptop as hers for a solid few months. Decided that she didn't need to be going through my phub anymore. Computer loaded pretty well, and seems to be going strong. I recommend this over a Chromebook any day of the week. It did come in S Mode, which I quickly shifted out of and put back into regular Windows 10. In all honesty, S Mode is probably ok. But I don't want the MAN holding me down. Shes just gonna check email, and the Facebooks, and the Twitters and all that jazz. So it should work out pretty well for her. It's fast enough.. She watches Netflix without any problems. But it's not a $500 HP either. So you kinda get what you pay for.

Works good. My only complaint is the Microsoft 10 S is frustrating to deal with. So many limitations. Really wish the salesman would have been more clear about this laptop. I needed a laptop for my daughters distant learning and asked for one that she could use easily and was a good quality. But I’m frustrated not being able to use some of the apps required for my printer and other school required sites for class meetings. The price wasn’t an issue, not sure why this one was so highly recommended. May have been an overstocked product. I’ll do my own research next time and not rely on a store associate.

So I didn’t originally want this computer, however it was a good buy. I will admit I’ve noticed some minor hiccups in the last few days. The screen doesn’t seem to be very bright in my opinion, could be brighter. The response time is a little slow with clicking through apps or programs, it’s like I click and then 15 seconds later it will open. Battery seems to drain very quickly as well. I used the computer for 45 minutes and I lost 15%... could be user error due to the brightness of the screen. S mode is annoying and you may have to uninstall as well. I’m happy for now with my decision and only really got the computer for minor things like email, bill pay and some online shopping. Other than that it’s a great price, and a great size.

I bought this so I could catch up on work while on the train and for periodic "escapes" from my desk while at work. It can run a bit slow at times but it's certainly not bothersome for light use. It's light enough to carry around without much strain. I'm skeptical about the battery life reaching the stated limit of 10.5 hours, as I get down to about the 65 percent level after about 2.5 hours of use, but it still packs a nice charge. Overall, I'd say this was well worth the sale price of $219.99.

So far it is what I need. It is going to be a machine to record classroom activity, test scores, email, etc. Does not need to be fast. Would be a great beginner machine. HP seems to make a tough case for wear and tear. Wish the drive was bigger but the price was right.

My primary use this for web surfing, writing reports and virtual meetings. Haven’t had any major issues so far. It has started to slow down a bit but I supposed a disk clean up will fix that.

Overall I think this is a great laptop to start off with. Its easy to use and not complicated at all to set up. Its light weight and looks great. It has everything i need and it is exceptionally priced.

Great little workhorse laptop that can handle my wife’s work from home and my son’s now online school work. Boots up quick and battery life is amazing definitely worth the price if you want a laptop that can handle the light to mid work load for everyday use

Needed it for my work at home job. Very affordable and works great for the systems that my job requires me to have. Only downside is that it comes with Windows 10 Safe Mode which I was able to switch open to Windows 10 Home within 5 minutes from the system settings.

Currently have this thing for like a month or two now. Works easy, keyboard a bit small but u get use to it, the bloatware is annoying on it like mcafee but the samsung software installer is handy. How ever speakers are not the best at times

I needed to switch from a desktop computer to a laptop but did not want to spend a lot of money since I do not use it a lot. It is very easy to set up and use. The price could not be beat. I purchased a bundle which made it easier also. Very happy with purchase.

My 6 year old laptop died while I went to florida for the winter. Got this one to transfer my stuff before the old laptop would not boot up. Not bad for what I use it for. I sure not capable of serious gaming because of limited memory but i do not game so this was fine. My only complaint I should have waited or looked more closely. The keyboard does not have a number pad on the right like a adding machine. I am an old numbers guy so i miss that. All in all not a bad machine.

Good value for the price but the laptop is very slow. I connected my external hard drive and store Majority of my files on there but the laptop still freezes occasionally when I am running multiple windows.

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase, I got it for $220. The next day it was $300. Additionally, I purchased 8 GB DDR4 RAM and I upgraded my laptop memory from 4 GB to 12 GB RAM. I installed it myself watching YouTube videos and it took me about 30 mins.

Great Laptop, it is a nice size to store anywhere and has everything needed performance wise to do so light surfing or open multiple applications concurrently. Battery life is also good

the Laptop was a Christmas present for my 13 yr old. So far he loves it, he plays games and watches videos with no lagging or freezing up from what I have seen. It is his school laptop and so far as he has done his project during the break everything is fine.

Purchased this for my daughter to use for school and gaming. She absolutely loves it. Is a definite nice computer for a new beginner. Is pretty fast and has been reliable as we transitioned into virtual learning because of COVID-19.
